Ive only gone to two liquor stores since relocating to Upstate, New York. There was a little neighborhood boutique-type store near my bank, and this one which is on my way to pickup groceries. Discount Liquors definitely offered the better selections at much better pricing. In addition, the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Sign and online says closes at 9, doors locked at 855. Didn’t let me in for a quick grab. Sort of wasted a drive out since I thought I could make it! Disappointed by the integrity of this store and not following their own hours better!The guy was inside and told me they were closed despite what their sign said, guess we can’t read time out here haha

Went in so I could get some small 1 oz. Bottles of different things to give to my friends for Christmas, they are not well displayed and the women behind the counter was very rude. It was the first time I saw that particular person. She thought I was going to steal them as I was trying to decide what flavors to get because she had to keep handing me different bottles so I could read them and she didnt want to be bothered. I left and told her I didnt need to be treated rude and Ill take my business elsewhere. Its too bad because I was buying about 30 dollars a week there, not no more went to Gateway people there were more than happy to assist me. Best advice is dont go to Discount Liquor

The women working here would not sell me and my boyfriend liquor for no good reason. I had a strange feeling that there would be an issue the second we walked in. The place looked like it was abandoned. When my boyfriend went to pay for our bottle of wine, they asked for his ID and then mine. Were both 22. Upon looking at my license they said they have never seen anything like this. I have a New York State license. Im 22. I asked if they were joking, they said no. They said we have to scan it and this wont work with our scanner...why wouldnt it? its a real ID. I again asked Seriously? to which they replied we wont sell to you, goodnight. Ive never had a problem like this before. Ok, fine. Went somewhere else to purchase my bottle of wine with no issue. Something inside of me was telling me that this didnt have to do with my ID and that they had already decided that they wouldnt sell to us when we walked in...Ill leave interpretation of this up to the reader.

Clean, well organized, and a helpful staff. They even recently improved the parking lot (thank you). My favorite thing here is that they have a fantastic selection of local wines! For whatever reason I have trouble finding some of the great wines the finger lakes offer, but Im never disappointed here.

Discount Liquors is an icon in Fulton, NY. There is a great deal of history associated with DL!! This establishment is known for its reasonable prices as well as excellent customer service. The do have two unshakable rules... no person wearing a hoodie is permitted in the store (they were robbed and the perpetrator had his hood low enough that his face was obscured from the surveillance camera.) The second rule is whether you are twenty-one or one hundred, you will need to show your ID!Other than that, it is a very nice, local business.

Reasonable prices, big inventory, make sure you have photo ID no matter how old you are!

Went in to purchase a few things and the women behind the counter was rude, for no reason. When I walked in she was complaining to the other employee about how disgusting and selfish people were because they have been buying in larger quantities (stay at home order) if you dont want the business why stay open?!
