Anything looks better after you have a terrible experience elsewhere. My 2 week attempt to get help at Home Depot left me feeling so frustrated. We say Soil Toppers driving by so we popped in. They were closed and Vicky was on her way home. I could tell she had put in a long day at work. YET, she smiled and said she would be glad to answer questions and show me around. We did not keep her long but promised to come back. That was a week ago. Today we bought all our landscaping needs - river rock pebbles, large river rock, natural stones for borders and stepping stones. . . not only was Vicky there but every single person we were in contact with was knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Every customer was helped in a timely manner and we walked away with a wealth of information. So this experience was 5 star NOT because I had a bad experience elsewhere but because my experience HERE was exceptional. If you are doing a small or big project, I would highly recommend you shop at this local gem. They even helped me with math! Once my project is done I will share before and after photos.

I had over 20 yards of 50/50 mix delivered same day and the driver was extremely courteous, flexible and placed it exactly where I wanted it. Most importantly he treated my property with respect. Boy where to start with this experience and facility... They absolutely have the most amazing staff employed and will go to any great lengths needed to satisfy their customers!! We have bought soil for grass seed, soil for gardening and gravel from this wonderful place! and have NEVER been disappointed. This day and age we struggle to find quality service and products really anywhere unfortunately at extremely high prices but with soil toppers you get the absolute best deal for the most quality product in town and service that is undeniably top notch. Soil Toppers has been a big help to our business, personal landscape and construction needs. Whether I need mulch, gravel, stone, landscape stone, fill dirt, topsoil or whatever it may be. This is twice now that I have dealt with them with non-standard requests...and they find ways to make it happen. Quality product, good price and great people to boot. You can’t ask for more.

Manager patiently stayed after closing to answer our questions and load our van with our last minute purchase. Always a good experience. Welcoming to homeowners/weekend warriors. Ordered rocks, stone, and mulch on separate occasions. Cost per cubic yard of mulch is much cheaper than Home Depot, much higher quality, and far less hassle. Id rather not have to deal with the 80+ bags of 2 cubic foot mulch when I can have it delivered. No complaints.

Great family owned business! Where else can you find a business run by a local family since 1991? Staff are great and helpful with great project ideas. I got the triple shredded hardwood mulch and it is has held its color a long time! Also got some smaller stones for my waterfall and the price was great! Soil Toppers caters to residential folks and you can tell. Delivery was timely (same day!) and economical. I would highly recommend them!

I recently ordered 4 yards of river rocks from them and the service was great. Their website shows pictures of the stones so you dont necessarily have to go there to choose what you want. They were very pleasant and professional on the phone to take my order and they delivered the next day. Great to do business with!

These guys are Rock Stars.Ive had 22 cu. yds of rock delivered, split up into 3 separate deliveries. Each order was delivered before promised time, they called each time to let me know they were delivering, and each load was dropped exactly where I requested.Great price, outstanding service!One more load, looking forward to doing business with these folks.

Adam and the folks here are great people. They are knowledgeable, informative, friendly, and their prices are really good and fair. We have shopped here for our landscaping needs since 2017 and recommend them for any yardscape projects. Besides, having someone knowledgeable is always a plus.

Since the past Summer (2016) I have bought mulch and top soil from them 3 times and never had any sort of problems!The price is great, and the quality even better. We purchased 50/50 garden soil and were very happy with the grade and the cost also the people were very nice.

Weve order from Soil Toppers twice. They were very nice in the store and delivered our 50/50 mix on time. It was a little more sandy than mulchy, but great for covering the red clay under the grass. The problem came with the second order. Long story short, the wrong thing was sent (late) and they wanted to charge the delivery for their mistake. Kelly swore up and down that she had confirmed sand, but I spoke with her and I heard my husband confirm gravel. They were same price as Ogburn, and deliver was $5 less at Ogburns. I had gone with them because of the high reviews, but I will be purchasing materials elsewhere.

Called them and ask about same day delivery, but it was already 2:45pm, I had the delivery at 4:00pm. Great people, great service, and good prices.

Horrible soil and mulch. The soil was supposedly clean but we found debris when using it like nails and now a couple months later we are overwhelmed with weeds in the areas we used it. The mulch was no better, it was full or fungus and lost its color only weeks later. Apparently this is common practice in this area to yankee people. One of our contractors that is from here said places are known to sell one thing and deliver another, especially to the yankees. Well they may have gotten one over on us this time, but I will make sure to spread the word on how horrible their products are everywhere I can. Pay more and get quality stuff elsewhere.
