When I got there, only 2 agents were available. Both were evidently working with customers. I was the 3rd person waiting in line. After Id been there 15 min. one gentleman said he had to go to work just needed to drop off a set top box. They refused to help him because one customer was getting a new phone and they were having some issues getting her set up. Evidently the other customer was getting new service and his agent had to swap with the other one because he was not familiar with how to gain access to the package wanted. So he left, not happy to say the least. The other person in line was also wanting to return/swap a set top box. I just needed to pay my bill. After another 10 min of waiting, I tried to use the payment system and it wouldnt recognize my account. I tried another phone number and finally got access to my account, paid my bill, wished the other customer good luck and left. Im having to pay my bill at the service center because after 4 months of trying auto pay they never got it to work correctly. When our contract runs out Im probably going to switch to Dish Network, especially if I can get the ID channel Comcast dropped last year. Just not pleased with this service at all.

So they did maintenance in my area which was suppose to improve the quality of the service according to the notification from my xfinity app. This was more than 2 days ago and my service has been down since and its going to be another 5 days before they get someone out here to attemp to fix it. Now, I have had comcast for years and its never been this bad. Honestly considering switching my internet service.Over a week without service, probably wont give me a credit to my bill and will likely even charge me for the technician as well. I know how this goes.

Horrible experience here as always. Very unprofessional staff. They act more like petty teens with attitudes than customer service representatives. Went in to exchange a defective cable box and was refused service because one of the workers heard me tell my mom while waiting outside to go in that I did not like the local store because of previous issues with their inability to provide proper service. I was told by a so called adult that I since I didnt enjoy the previous service I could just go online

The internet is 2 different signals and i appear to be paying for both. One is not my signal at all. Cable, ..we own 1 small blk box but they continue to bill outrageous bills ordering us to pay for them. Ive called,..visited office and requested a tech to our home. No response and upon visit, the service was horriable and no help at all.

I love the service, but they have some rude people who are very rude and they act like they own the place, in the office in Gadsden. I prefer to do my business with the people on the phone, they are polite and respectful. They are very helpful.

I keep getting disconnected and my amount changes and I have only had cable for 2 months. And yes my bill has been paid. Worse cable company in my life. Cannot wait till my family moves here and I go back to directv. Horrible service, insane prices.

Just moved a week ago the day before Christmas. Obviously, my belongings are still in boxes. I mean I have spent the holidays with family. The technician comes out throwing bags and boxes determined there was a specific cable he needed. Instead of asking us to move things he starts making comments about how things are piled and would be informing my landlord. Then proceeded to hook up the internet. It was all unnecessary and I am sure they have had people move into the town before....or am I wrong? Highly disappointed!!

Just lost a customer. They performed a sweep in my area and told me I was getting channels I wasnt suppose to, but had been getting for 4 years. The channels they left me with would be fine, except I am not allowed to view the HD equivalent channel. In what world is that right? Now everything has a four inch black bar across the top and bottom of the screen. The conversation with CS went like a bad hostage negotiation. In order to get the channels back, I had to sign a two year contract, at a higher rate or pay 140 a month. Like I was going to pay that for reruns of Law and Order. Nope.

I actually love Comcast.. I’ve had it years also so had my family.. but today they have pissed me off. Within three weeks I’ve had a transfer..when I moved they pulled an old bill of 655$ charged me 699$ to have my service restored.. I paid it and they lied to me and said they coming to hook up my equipment.. well so said the tech that I talked to, to make sure my money posted on their end!Then not to mention a week later I received an 126 bill! Which was paid. Then a week later my service is blocked by a credit bureau! I work Monday they Friday, and they want me to come into the office to prove myself! When I’ve had cable for over two weeks now! It’s so frustrating dealing with them. I’m surely leaving, I’ve never in my life been so upset to where I’d write a review!

I went into Comcast the other day because I was told by someone from customer service that my box needed to be swapped out for a new one. Mine was an older version and was continuously freezing up and having tile lines across the screen. As I go in there was 3 women there, one was helping a customer and the other two were having a conversation about what they were wearing for Halloween. No one was in line. So I come up to the first window and say hi and she stops me dead in my tracks and says I will be with you in a minute. So I step back and wait while she finishes her conversation with the other employee about what costumes they will be wearing for Halloween. When she finishes she says, Can I help you? Then proceeded to argue with me about what I was told by the person I spoke with from their 1-800 number! She was only worried about me upgrading to some new package. This is very unprofessional and uncalled for. This almost caused me to cancel my service with Comcast because I will not be treated in this manor! Im still considering swapping to dish or someone who will appreciate a loyal customer. Would not recommend anyone to use Comcast!

The Comcast Service center in Gadsden suffers from an anemic support from the parent Company. The service center has not had a remodel or enhancement in twenty years, and the community suffers as a result. Comcast has a virtual monopoly in Gadsden and has taken for granted the patience and kindness of the community as it continues to increase its rates for fewer options. This is not how Xfinity operates in other communities. The leadership at the Service Center should be replaced, and the employees re-trained with a complete overall of the physical plant. The parent company has more than enough resources to accomplish this in Gadsden, and should not take their monopoly for granted. This is 2017, not 1997. The customers would gladly choose another cable provider if they had the opportunity.

Customer service = terrible.Make sure you have plenty of spare time and patience if you have to go up there or call in a complaint for any problem you may have. Some of the staff is not nice.Comcast - Gadsden, is known to jack up the prices and take channels away. Im so glad we moved into a different area and no longer have to use them.

I have no idea why the City of Gadsden would bring such a shoddy service to their citizens. They charged my elderly father $50 to change a piece of their own equipment that went bad. Their equipment is not plug and play like the rest of the industry, you either have to buy a kit to set it up or pay a technician to install it. MY problem with them started back in December of 2017. It was so bad, they comped me the pay channel of Showtime indefinately. Then this past week, I get a email telling me they are going to start charging me for it. So they have no problems going back on their original agreements. When I called Customer Service, they intially agreed to leave it on. Then a month later, they changed their mind. Again. Nobody wants this service because its gotten too expensive, especially for the average household in this area. But the City of Gadsden doesnt care as long as someone is making money off the contract.

I have Xfinity and was lied to by the company. I was told I would have all the sports channels and found out I dont. During a football game I was watching, the network changed channels and I didnt have access to that channel. To top it all off their customer service dept. Is closed. Ive never heard of a cable companys customer service not being open 24 hours. They suck do not get their services.

Small building. I went in before the morning rush and still got out after everyone. I went to the window and the cashier took 5mins to find my account. After that ordeal, I was told to go to the kiosk to make payment via debit card.The did have a Rep assist people with kiosk machine. But took the greater part of the morning to complete transaction. Not happy.

Comcast or xfinety tv . look at your bill statement make sure they are not adding extra charges to your monthly statement. When you take back equipment chances are maybe a year later they will try to bill you for the equipment saying you didnt return it. Like you could use it when you discontinue Comcast service. Thats why Comcast has a bad customer service rating. When you call the toll free 800 number you cannot understand the sales rep.person they talk in a foreign language but toward the end of the sentence you can plainly hear them say do you agree with that. Thats how they get you to buy more or agree with something that you could not understand .they need to put someone on the phone that speaks English plainly.

I am so frustrated. They keep telling me one thing every time I call them but the bill never matches what they tell me. Then I have to call about that and its the same cycle all over again. To make matters worse, cable got so expense I called to downgrade to a lower package just because I couldnt continue to afford how expensive they are. It was then, that discovered that i had been PAYING for a higher package than I had been receiving for ages. They did little to help me; gave me a promotional rate for one year. There is no way that will compensate for all the time I overpaid. Then, when I got that bill, it wasnt what they told me it would be. Always like this!!!

All people are rude there. I think the name was angela and brianna before that. Not helpful and there seems to be a race issue. The black think they can be rude to the white there. We are all equals but they dont treat you that way. I wont have comcast again because im not going to pay a company money and them not respect me because im white. The black girls think they can treat you however they want they have no boss onsite and to file a complaint you have to call a 1800 number. HORRIFYING. They destroyed my office doing the commercial install. Damaged an antique carpet, broke ceiling tiles, made holes in walls, left splinters and fiberglass insulation all over my floor, entered an office they were not supposed to be in and left it a mess. Large splinters, broken walls and tiles, damage to personal property, huge mess, My business had to be closed, could not allow employees in or public due to splinters oughand fiberglassCalled 11 times, still cant open my business and no return call yet they promised to several times. Im out a full day of business and heading into second day closed, plus its going to cost a fortune to fix and clean

My current situation with Comcast is enough to make me want to pull my hair out. Ive recently moved and need to transfer my internet services. My transfer was held up due to billing placing a block on my new address because of a balance left by a previous tenant. I promptly drove to the service center and supplied the representative with my lease agreement, drivers license, and social security card to prove that I am indeed a new tenant at this address. I was told to call 1-800-COMCAST today to have a service ticket produced to have the block lifted. I called this morning, as instructed, only to find out that the representative I spoke to on Saturday only needed to press a button to lift the block to make my new address servicable. Now, Im looking at another 24-72 hour wait. I have a Roku for my childs television, so, she is unable to watch her favorite shows. More importantly, I have a nurse licensure exam quickly approaching that Im not able to prepare for. I am beyond done with Comcast! I hated to give them 1 star. They definitely didnt earn it, I only GAVE them the star to be able to post my review.

I have been screwed over by them twice now. Both times they have charged me for not returning a box. Both times I did return the box. The first time, I suppose it was my fault because I didnt keep the receipt that I got from the local Comcast office. Not that anyone at that office made me aware of the fact that I would need to keep the receipt in case they didnt do their job and log the box as being returned. So I bit the bullet and just paid for the box. The second and most recent time, I received an HD box in the mail and after connecting it I realized that it didnt have the DVR option on it that was supposed to have been on it. So I took this box back to the same local office and asked them to swap it out with a box that did have the DVR option on it. The girl at the counter swapped it out for me, she took the HD box from me and handed me a Composite (they say its the same as HD) box with the DVR option built in to it. She didnt give me ANY paperwork with the box and I ASSUMED since I was just swapping them out that I didnt actually NEED any paperwork. Now that I am moving from my current house I decided to (temporarily) cut off my Comcast service so I could save a bit of money in between the move. So I took the Composite/DVR box and two other regular TV boxes and turned them in to the local Comcast office and I actually got a receipt for turning them in. Then the lady said to me, You have one more HD box, where is it?. I told her exactly what I stated above about swapping them out and not being given any paperwork for swapping them. She said that there was nothing she could do about it other than log it in to the system that I didnt return the HD box and that I would need to call customer support to get this issue straightened out. Well about 3 hours of phone calls and several facebook messages back and forth with Comcast technicians and other various support staff I am no closer to having this issue resolved than I was when I talked to the lady at the local Comcast office. Needless to say, I WILL NOT be paying Comcast $500.00 for a HD box that I swapped out 3 years ago for the right box they should have shipped to me in the first place. So because I am going to refuse to pay them for a mistake that THEY made I will not ever be able to get Comcast service again unless I pay it. So I think I would rather use DirectTV, which from what Ive seen is better than Comcast anyway. Plus, I could guarantee that DirectTVs customer support is easier to deal with than Comcast. If Comcast doesnt resolve my issue, to the point where I dont have to pay them for a box I only had for a few days, then I will never do business with them again. I will also start suggesting to my customers, friends, and family that they shouldnt use Comcast either because of their mob like techniques and business model.Update: I have had DirecTV for three years now and I have not had any issues from them the entire time. My bill has remained the same and I get more channels for the same amount of money. Glad I made the swap.

It asks what did I like about the service??? Absolutely nothing!!!! We live in an area where only Comcast gives service and its slower than dial-up! Dont plan on doing any online classes using Comcast because it will drop Internet and make you fail your tests!!!! I hate Comcast with a passion!!!! After telling Comcast you are filing with the BBB they bend over backwards and up your internet and it works PERFECT for 6 months, after that it goes right back to being crap service!!! Then after paying for the top speed internet they provide and calling everyday to reset modems and having countless service techs say its fixed a manager from overseas tells me my box doesnt hold the amount of mb my service uses!!!! WHY HAVE I BEEN PAYING 120 dollars for something that doesnt work?? I have a service tech coming tomorrow, if he doesnt fix the problem Ill be taking my box to Gadsdens office and smashing it in front of the employees!!!!!! I wouldnt give this place even one star if it had that option ! Weve paid the $100 connection fee plus an extra $60 on top of our first Internet bill for an installation fee and sense weve gotten the Internet it doesnt work 95% of the time. It is constantly going offline and freezing. What is the point in paying the extra bill when we cant use it ?! I will never recommend this company and will be leaving it as soon as we find another provider!!

They have disconnected the phone and it is almost impossible to get a live person on the phone. They need to change this. Ive ordered Internet but may cancel if I cant get anyone to connect it. I am a widow and need help with it. I hope they see this!!!!!
