These folks are the best. I have gone there twice to have my glasses adjusted and they did it quickly, kindly and efficiently -- with no charge. And I didnt even buy my glasses there!! Amazing.
In the past I’ve loved LensCrafters but my most recent purchase has been very different, they sold me on the LensCrafters brand lenses, these lenses are very poor quality. After only 30 days these lessons were scratched so badly they were unusable, all the while I was cleaning the lenses as I always have I I had them swapped out using the insurance I bought at time of purchase and now 90 days later and cleaning as instructed by the store my lenses are scratched again, when I went to the store and requested my lenses be swapped out for the RayBan brand I was told I would have to pay full price for the new lenses (no help) I filled a customer form, no help! LensCrafters customer service is no service.
Gia repaired my fancy sunglasses. Instantly and perfectly. She is super friendly. The next time Im going to get new glasses it will be here. Thank you!
The manager Gia is great. She picked out frames after I told her what I liked and needed. Those frames feel better than any I have had in 20 years. The lenses were ready quicker than expected and I can see great.
Web site shows store opens at 11am on Sunday. Wrong, store doesnt open till 12pm. Time is money, accuracy is first impression. Oaks Mall in Gainesville FL. Horrible mall..... Now have to sit outside store for an hour because of poor information....
This store had great service and I felt well taken care of when purchasing glasses!
LC honored their insurance when my dog chewed up my frame and broke one of the lenses. I was surprised that the $50 deductible was taxed
First was charged $30.00 for refraction. Having your eyes dilated the same outcome is free. No one told me there was a charge. Second I can not see hardly at all out of my left eye. Something is wrong with my prescription.
Very efficient. I was waited on with friendliness and matter was completed very quickly.
Does anyone work there? Im not sure. When you call it tells you to press 1 for the Doctors staff and 2 for retail. Every time I hit 1, I go to a voicemail. Normally thats no big deal, however, when you leave a voicemail over 2 weeks ago and nobody returns your call then its a problem. I left another voicemail this morning (2/6/21). Still no call back. I pressed 2 to see if it worked and I finally got hold of a human being. Thats great but when they transfer you, you sit on hold forever. My first call was 15 minutes of hold time. I hung up. Im on my second call while writing this, 10 minutes in. I will find another place to go.
The two receptionists sitting behind the desk were incredibly unprofessional as I was waiting for my husband in the exam room. One young lady used the F-word several times while talking about another female employee (an optician). One of them walked across the office with no shoes on saying, I dont care, Im from Lake City.
Very professional and knowledgeable service. The young lady who provided my service took extra steps to ensure that I receive the best price & exactly what I wanted. I ended up getting 2 pairs of glasses!
Lauren and the other gentlemen working were awesome. They were very positive and made my eyeglass shopping easy.I would highly recommend them if your looking for a place to get glasses.
Alyssa and her associate, that I cannot remember her name, were extremely helpful, professional, efficient and gave me the best experience and value I have received in 2020! The ladies made use of there retail tech skills, which made it easier to make a decision. Additionally, Alyssa shared with me the trends and both ladies shared their opinions, which were honest but very respectful. Overall, a great experience and I look forward to visiting each year, please retain people like this! They are valuable.
The LensCrafters website said Sunday hours are 11-7. My husband and I who were already inconvenienced because the Ocala store is under construction, drove 1 and 1/2 hours to pickup our glasses. We arrived at 11 and were told they dont open until 12, then the woman says they told google to change their hours. It was a LensCrafters website!
I saw Dr. Abreu recently. He was wonderful - clear with explanations, personable, and patient.
I especially appreciate this visit. The lady attending to me was kind and patient and helped me get all I had requested . Her supervisor was also kind and efficient and noticed a frame that I picked at first did not rest right on my nose & this could affect my vision/lenses being inaccurate. They helped me get another nice frame that fitted perfectly.
I was going to use LensCrafters because my insurance gave an additional coupon if I used them. The Gainesville location number rings and then immediately goes to busy. This is not a good sign and I dont have the patience nor the time to play I wonder if theyll answer the phone?. This is a business, if you cant answer your phone, at minimum the business should have voicemail. A phone that rings and then immediately gets a busy signal is not the sign of a business that can adequately serve the public. So basically, not even a $50 coupon can encourage me to give them a try.
Do not go to this place, total ripoff.Went in with vision insurance and they basically demanded a medical insurance card.I received a quote for 225.00 with insurance for a contact lens exam w/one trial set of lens. But the bill is open ended if the doc suspects or sees anything medical there will be more fees. They tell me I can not opt out of any fees the doc decides on,and will be responsible for any and all charges he says. Are you kidding me? I called a different company and was quoted 80.00 no additional tests etc.Thiefs!!!
Extremely friendly and wonderful staff. Was seen in a very timely manner.
I was in a hurry and they were really efficient and got my order in and me out of the door very quickly!
Really good customer service. The people who work here are really friendly and store has a very nice atmosphere (good music playing too, lots of Queen songs and classic hits). Great variety of different frames to choose from. I found the perfect glasses here.
I went to LensCrafters’s for an eye exam and purchased some new frames for my new prescription. The left hinge on the new glasses kept snagging my hair and breaking it off, so I went back to them SEVEN different times to have it adjusted (turns out that is a manufacturer defect and can’t it be adjusted!). They finally agreed to give me new frames but the prescription was wrong and I couldn’t read, so 3 days later I was back to the old frames. They have a 30 day return policy which they strung me along a few weeks past. So I took it to corporate and they said it was past the 30 days. I’m warning you, don’t go there but if you buy glasses from LensCrafters’s be sure to DEMAND a fix, repair, or replacement before your time is up. I now have some expensive glasses and a chunk of broken hair. The staff including manager are rude and unhelpful. I will say the doctor side was great but I will never step foot in LensCrafters’s again!!!😡🤬
Only ONE optometrist for this location that is open 7 days a week (being the only LC location in the city of Gainesville)? And they are the only employee allowed to adjust frames? How does one expect to run a business like this and retain their customers? People rely on these tools for everything in life. This is our first and last time at LensCrafters.
I was totally ignored when I arrived and there was only one other customer in the store. When the young man was (not waiting on anybody) done doing whatever on his tablet he asked if I needed help and I told him I was interested in a certain Oakley eyeglasses and was told he knows nothing of the models you carry and that I would have to find what I wanted in your display case and then bring it to him. Never helped me once I did find the glasses I wanted, rather a nice lady helped me instead. Very informative and helpful. I wish I got her name, but Im done with this particular Lens Crafters. Read horrible reviews, but went anyway, Not again.
Admin person called me three hours before and asked if i could reschedule my appt due to the doctor having an emergency. My appt was scheduled for 5pm. Then she said nevermind. I expressed that I didnt want someone working on my eye whose mind was elsewhere. If it really was an emergency then Ill reschedule. Then she asked if I could come earlier. Either its an emergency and theyre not available, or its not an emergency and they need to leave early. Sounded more like they didnt want to stay late. I arrive to the mall an hour early but the location on google was NOT correct. Its not by Forever 21 and BW3s... its actually on the complete opposite side of the mall. Its right next to Dillards. I walked around the mall for 20 mins before I found it. Hopefully you read this before you go. Then I wasnt even seen until 530pm (tell me again why I needed to be early). The doctor was nice and seemed to know what he was talking about. He was well versed in eye issues as mine was a little tricky. The admin techs were super nice but everything else was a nightmare.
I wont necessarily say that there was bad customer service but... everyone knows frames and lenses arent inexpensive anymore I am on a fixed income and one of the selling points that was emphasized to me was that if I had/have any reason I was not happy with the frames and lenses that they could be exchanged, well the salespersons are just that, salespersons! I believe they were more interested in how high priced the frames were, then how they actually looked and fit on my face I do take some responsibility, but as I said the selling point of the frames was that it would be no problem to exchange, well I guess not, so although I cant afford it, my glasses will most likely go into a drawer and I will go somewhere else,... and so, they will not have a return customer by me. Most unfortunate.
I bought my glasses about three years ago from a competitor. I broke a stem recently and went back to them for a repair. The tech muscled some type of fix, but this week, that fell apart. I feared I could not get it repaired because Macho Mans screw broke off and left part in the hinge. I checked out Lenscrafters and Kelly fixed it. Not only did she fix it, she said it was free and wouldnt even take cash for herself. I have an eye appointment in three weeks and will be getting a new prescription. I wont even shop around; Im heading right for Lenscrafters. Thank you, Kelly
The eye drs office said they could not verify my insurance so I had to pay for the visit. But the eye glass department had no problem finding it
Worst experience trying to get my brand new frames adjusted. Spent 400 dollars with them to be belittled and disrespected by the rude asst manager. Dear lenscrafters fire this individual so you dont lose anymore money or please properly train your employees on what customer service is and means. Absolutely ridiculous experience.
I was helped very poorly here. When I first went in the store everyone was kind and once I returned my eyewear I went back a month later and asked for help they were rude and very unhelpful. Customer service is very poor in this location, I was highly disappointed.
First my appointment was cancelled an hour before the time. Then the front desk person was not at all helpful when I did end up actually making it to the appointment, she could not explain to me the cost breakdown for a contact lens exam. I cancelled my appointment and walked out, not going there again. You are good if it is just a general check but anything more and expect to be played around with.I walked in to Pearle Vision within Oaks mall and they were able to explain everything in much more detail.
Might want to begin sanitizing your glasses after people try them on. Not doing so is unacceptable by most peoples standards during this pandemic.
Two words: Money HungryThe optometrist is not very friendly and uses medical jargon instead of speaking in lay man terms so that a regular person can understand. I go to University Opticians now and it is the best decision I ever made!
I was very impressed with the staff and with the selection of glasses and lens options.
TERRIBLE service ! Called to ask for an appointment for an eye exam and they made me come to the store 2 days later to find out they were close because “they are cleaning”. How did I find out ? A lady that works in the store was lying down on the sofa like it was here house (so unprofessional) and while she was checking her phone she said that everybody was off and asked if someone called me (well, clearly not). They didn’t take the time or courtesy to call me. I asked for a day off at work for this. PLEASE DO NOT waste your time with these people.
Gia was awesome!!! Was very knowledgeable and sweet!!!
Literally dont carry nose pads for the RayBan prescription glasses that they sell. A BS excuse that they have to be ordered directly from RayBan. Luxottica owns both companies, Im sure itd be really hard to provide nose pads like they do for other brands. You cant even pay them to get the right ones for you. They just refer you to go online and buy your own from RayBans useless after-sales site which has no pictures of what youre getting or any description (literally, Nose Pad 52, Nose Pad 54, thats it).Id rather go to Walmart. Which is about the only other place you can go, look up what all Luxottica owns. Their only competitors seem to be Walmart and Costco.
Attentive staff. Large frames selection. Glasses fit really well
LensCrafters is likely pricier than online retailers, but being able to try on glasses is very helpful and therefore worth it. I purchased a pair of sunglasses (frame + $70 for prescription lenses, great deal!) and received 40% off a second pair. A very friendly associate named Jennifer helped me find the perfect pair of glasses for my face. Both pairs were finished promptly and I was informed of when they were ready to pick up. I would definitely use this retailer again.
Emanuel did a great job fixing my glasses! Excellent customer service.
Ive been coming here for two years 2017 and 2018 the young Dr was good. I did not get my eyeglasses but I did get my eye exam. Nothing out of the ordinary he gave me some free eye drops. Cool place
Wont even adjust a bent frame unless their optician is in the building (they said hed be back at 6pm....) What a useless eye glass store. Wont be buying lenses or glasses here again if they cant even do basic things during normal business hours.
Great and friendly staff. They make sure to cover all your needs and are very knowledgeable! Would recommended for anyone looking for new glasses.
Emmanuel was professional, friendly and personable. A customer service treasure!
Went to LensCrafters to get new lenses for our daughters glasses. We were told by Randy that they didnt have the lenses in stock, would order them and it should only take a few days to get in. Nine days later, I called to find out where the lenses were. Randy told me they were a special order and hadnt shipped yet. He didnt offer any solutions, and I was transferred to the manager, Matt. He told me if they werent shipped by the next day, he would call his regional quality manager to upgrade our status. What does that even mean? He wasnt willing to do anything to help me get the lenses, or make any calls that day. He told me I could wait for the lenses to come in, change my order to standard lenses with no reflective protection, or get a refund. Even downgrading my order would have meant waiting on lenses to be shipped. We went to Eyeglass Express and ordered the same lenses. They confirmed with the lab that they were available, would ship that day, and her glasses would be ready in one day. Back to LensCrafters to get a refund - At no time during the process did Matt apologize for the hassle or offer any assistance. Apparently all non reflective lenses are special order and take around 2 weeks, something Randy never bothered telling us. The only contrition was Im sorry you feel that way to which I responded, Im sorry you acted that way. This was the 4th set of glasses we purchased and will be the last. They have no interest in customer service are not upfront with customers about how long lenses take to arrive. Buyer beware of LensCrafters!
From the time n.y eyes were examined to when i purchased my glasses and contacts i was well pleased. Professional staff clean store.
It had been awhile since I had been to the eye doctor. According to my insurance provider they were the closest to where I live. While I was there a certain price had been quoted and I paid that amount. The tech erred in the process of doing her job concerning what was and wasn’t covered by my insurance. Three weeks later I receive a call saying there was an outstanding balance from my exam. If I did not pay said balance it would go to collections. When I explained to them that this was an issue between them and the insurance company and not me I was promptly HUNG UP ON! Oh, and they said my contacts would arrive in three or so days. 14 days later they actually arrived so apparently they were wrong about that too. Spend your time and money elsewhere.
This is my only go to place for my exams and glasses. Staff on both sides is and always has been great! Loved Dr Rubin! The employees on the glasses side are always very friendly and helpful.
My wife and I have always had great to exceptional service for the past 2 years there. I will let you know if anything changes. UPDATE 5.23.16. Stay away from the Matt guy, he has zero customer service abilities. Thanks Meg for helping my wife and bro-n-law and me.
The optical assistants at this LensCrafters are absolutely fantastic and extremely caring for patients. They went above and beyond to help me work out the best way to approach my eye care needs. Im beyond grateful for their help and kindness in working with me.
I have bought safety glasses through here and both times the frames started falling apart. The people were decent and the lenses were good. But I bought frames Jan. 5th and they started falling apart about a month ago. Now they wont fix them. The frames they sell have no warranty after 30 days from pick up. I dont work 30 days in a row.
Sean was our salesperson, he was very helpful and fixed my husbands glasses promptly. He also suggested a restaurant for us to eat, since we were traveling. It was a very pleasant experience.
Google reviews wont let you edit. It was Dr. Kirchner that I have been to multiple times and is a great eye doctor. I have never met Dr. Brink.Mark
Husband and I peeked in to consider about getting me a new pair of glasses. My husband asked kindly what is the price range estimate of your glasses here? Her face changed like a honey badger out for blood and immediately retorted with hold on a second, would you go into Dillards and ask how much your dresses are? I dont know they range from $100 to over a thousand! (In a boisterous condescending voice that is only fit for a honey badger on a rampage.) Husband still somehow kept his composure and asked politely alright, then how about if we just get the prescription here instead, how much might that be? (Still out for blood) Like I said, that varies immensely that is not something I can give a solid answer to thats like....blah blah blah, boisterous condescending rant continued behind us as we were already out the door. Please, if you value being treated as an actual human being, I do not recommend this place. Unless you are a honey badger, then by all means have at it.
Buyer Beware ! Exam and Doctor experience were great, but after having to wait 40 minutes to be waited on to discuss lens and frames, Im informed that they dont accept my insurance for that part, just for the exam. Of course they dont want to tell you that, so that they can sell you some at a really good deal, sorry but thats a huge waste of my time, and a crappy way to try and sell someone something that their insurance will pay for. Very unprofessional, and a great way to ensure that I wont return. If they would tell you that upfront their list of customers would disappear very fast. As it is, Im disappearing off of their customer list very fast as well. Based on this type of treatment, I will find a new Doctor for my future needs.
First you need to understand the eye testing is a different company and they function as two separate entities.Second, the assistants in the store feel they are doing you a favor by taking your order. They are seriously understaffed and lack basic courtesy of letting you know how much time you might have to wait.Secondly, they have very very few options on frames, so be ready to choose from few! Finally, they dont care if they dont get your business when you leave after waiting for more than an hour!If you still venture there, good luck!
Terrible customer service, they discriminated against me. A bunch of sheep.
Optometrist was great, but the tech refused to include my pupilary distance with my prescription. To me, that is unacceptable to not release that information to a paying customer. Would someone measuring you for a suit refuse to give you your inseam measurement?
This place is a joke! Always understaffed, they are all rude and talk down to you. When I asked for my very expensive glasses to be adjusted, because I bought them there, they refused because of the frame material. The store is filthy, understocked, and looks like it belongs in a WalMart. Do not waste your money, I found out Target has an optical and they take the same insurance with a much happier staff.
DO NOT purchase eyeglasses from here. First my lenses scratched up really bad and they would not replace them. I purchased Versace eyeglasses and two out of the three sidearm decor has fallen off and they will not replace the eyeglasses. What a waste of my money. DO NOT purchase eyeglasses from Lenscrafters. Dee Staten, Gainesville, Florida
The staff seemed friendly enough, though I went in twice to get glasses and left both times with nothing! The first time they were very busy and seemed short staffed, which is fine, I chose not to wait and to come back later. My second attempt I waited for over 30 minutes for someone to help me and both times someone was free to help, they helped a customer who came in after me before even attempting to ask if I needed anything. I will not be going back, nor will I recommend them to anyone.
I wish I wouldve read these reviews before I sent my daughter. Just like others posted, they are not forthcoming with prices, and the prices are much higher at check out. The front office is rude and condescending when questioned, and instead of explaining prices up front before check out, and trying to problem solve for a misunderstanding there is no accountability or empathy for their patients. I feel sorry for anyone who has to endure these people
Been working with them for awhile to get the right multifocal contacts as those are apparently harder to find the right pair. Have gone through maybe 8 different brands/types of trials. My last trial pair, the left eye is blurry. All of the previous ones i could see with my left eye, and the no adjustments were made to my prescription between these. However when i let them know, they said i have to make a new appointment and insurance wont cover it. Im guessing they intentionally gave me the wrong left eye prescription to try and force me to make a new appointment. Used them for many years... never again.
This LensCrafters store has terrible service and the staff/supervisors are downright unprofessional. I called to see if they had a specific pair of glasses that I saw on the LensCrafters website, and when the associate couldnt find it, she said theyd see if it was at another store and call me back. They took my phone number, name, frame number, etc, but it was just a complete waste of my time because they never called me back at all. After about 3 weeks had passed, I called the store again to see what the heck was up. I asked the guy who answered whether theyd found the frames (unbeknownst to me this was actually the supervisor) and he said there was no record of my calling. Then, all abruptly and super rude, he said he had to go because he had clients to help. He took my number and said hed call back, but he never did either... So 2 hours later I call back, AGAIN. I say I want to talk to the supervisor. Then that same guy answers and says oh ya I talked to you earlier and I havent been able to look up anything yet. I say, its been 3 weeks and I am now a frustrated customer, you should be apologizing to me and working to correct your staffs errors. Then he started yelling saying he hasnt had a lunch yet and I told him your attitude is about to lose you a customer, do you want me to take my business elsewhere? And then he said he didnt care what I do and go ahead. So fine! I did. I drove all the way to Jacksonville LensCrafters just to get the glasses I wanted. Screw the Gainesville store. Not worth the time.
Love this store! Their customer service is outstanding. Angelica and her manager go out of their way to help customers!
I have been purchasing my glasses from LensCrafters for years. This time I went in to purchase new glasses for both my self and my husband. His were no issue. Mine on the other hand, couldnt decide, finally made a decision, issue with totaling the sale, advised tbemtthst fuedto the timeti would come back thetnext night to figure it out and finalize the sale. I went in the next night only to change the order. While there, Randy helped me put in for a defective pair of frames to the manufacturer. Went in tonight to pick up my husbands glasses, decided not to send the defective pair back to manufacturer, do while Evan was helping me he accidentally place a screw to tight and put it through the frame. Because of this he ended up replacing the frames for me. I am so grateful for their professionalism. They are wonderful and this is why I only go there.
You must be very careful when you deal with the staff at this location. I went to the store in December 2018 to fix a screw in my frame. This is an expensive rimless glasses. The store manager asked for at least an hour to fix the problem. I gave them 2 hours, then I realized they broke the frame and lenses. The Manager was dishonest, did not disclose or admit their faults. If fact, she tried to cover up the problem in order to shift the hard work and liability on me. She stated several untrue statements, including untrue statements about the parent company Luxottica. She informed me that Luxottica does a great job helping customers to resolve their issues quickly. I am having difficult time to speak with someone directly. I do not get answers and am facing horrible customer care. Although I emailed the customer care departments at LensCrafters and Luxottica that I am badly suffering by using my old glasses that have weak reading powers and I get lots of headache, they simply do not care, no responses. Prior management Matt was an excellent manager, used to take care of customers very well and he was a very honest man. I question the integrity and professionalism of this new staff. Just be very very careful of what they promise and say, have what they promise documented. If you want to have your glasses fix at this location, take a picture before and after. Also, ask the manager to sign a consent document of the condition of your frames and lenses. Do not trust this staff ever.
Aweful. The worst experience ever. I gave them my expensive Versace frame for lenses replacement. They messed my frame to the point that I cant wear it so it goes to the trash. They returned money for lenses but assumed zero responsibility for the frame they damaged. I lost good money by their fault.
EDITED REVIEW:So, a little over a month after my daughter got her new glasses, she broke them. Not a problem, we bought the insurance plan for this type of stuff. So.......28 days ago I took my daugthers frames in to get replaced because they broke. They told me theyd order them from the warehouse that way they were new unless they could get them from another store faster. Theyd call me when the glasses were ready. (We left the broken ones there, they were no good to us and they needed the lenses to put in the new frames) Okay sounds good 👍 A week goes by, no glasses...so I call. Oh they can take up to two weeks to get here ❔❔ For just frames?? Okay.... So another week an a half go by and we realize (because my daughters headaches are becoming more frequent) that its been over 2 weeks. So we call again, well the frames were ordered but havent come in so they ordered them again and had an Express shipping put on them. 😠 So we get on to 3 weeks (last Thursday) and call again!!! Oh, let me check into that and call you back - they call back.....Oh it looks like maybe theyve discontinued those frames but we found a pair in one of our stores in Naples, well express ship them so theyll arrive in the beginning of the week. 😠😠 Okay. Today I get a call, the frames are in Yaayy 😃 So I go to get my daughters frames after work. Frames are there.....there is NO record and/or trace of Amandas broken glasses with her lenses. So I am now home with no glasses and waiting on new lenses that could take up to two weeks because they lost the broken pair of glasses that has her lenses in them.^ ^ ^ ^ ^ EDITED REVIEW ^ ^ ^ ^ ^Great staff!! The staff was very friendly and interactive with my daughter. Their prices on frames are fairly high, however you are able to bring in your own frames from an outside source. I would and have recommended this place to others.
They require a copy of your medical insurance to bill you if they find any medical condition. Ive never had to do that ever. There was another person in ahead of me who walked out due to this.
Stop in today got a real car salesman asked about scratch resistant lenses which he said was 40% off with frames ok so if frames 100Lenses 300 y was the total 400 plus when i asked he said he added. Protection plan did ask 4 that but cool so what happened to 40% off lenses anyway i think if you are getting glasses from mall maybe they think u dont mine not getting what advertised idk iam confused
Angelica gives a great glasses adjustment! She was super friendly and really helpful in getting the perfect fit from my glasses!
Even though there are some helpful people working upfront, the bad-mannered, rude, and unprofessional ones outweigh the good.I called and asked the day before if they could print out my insurance information since I lost my card. She happily obliged and said the information would be ready for me to pick up the next day. I go the next morning to grab it, and explain to them my story, and one of the receptionists is giving me major attitude saying that they couldnt give me my insurance information and it was basically impossible to print out. I tell her uhhhhh I spoke with xxx yesterday and she told me my information would be ready for me to pick up.... Another receptionist comes over and solves the problem and gives me my information in less than thirty seconds. Meanwhile the other receptionist is still giving me attitude and is entirely unapologetic and glaring at me lolFive minutes later I go to my appointment at Pearle Vision, which is another eye care place in the mall and receive 10/10 service. Go there instead
The assistant manager of LensCrafters, Marjorie was rude and humiliated us in front of other customers. I did not expect this kind of behavior at LensCrafters as we are seeing their eye doctor for my whole family. The way she behaved was unacceptable. The way she was talking to my wife was not professional. If you cannot behave properly with your customers, please leave this job.
Marjorie the manager there is absolutely incompetent!!! Rude, unprofessional and clearly has no idea what the hell she is doing!Thank God I didn’t make the mistake of actually getting the eye exam and placing an order.WORST LensCrafters ever!
Thanks to the doctors, Joy, Rhonda, and Randy I can see again.Everyone has helpful and patient with me.
Eye Doctors and glasses lab on site, large selection.
Have never had a problem at Lenscrafters Gainesville. People are complaining that they try to sell you the lens they make the most money on, well, hello? It IS a business after all.
They made my glasses 6 or 7 times and still couldnt get them right.Dont get your glasses made here, they will try and put you in lenses that they make the most money off of, not caring whether you have to make multiple trips from Lake City or not.Its a shame that they dont know what theyre doing!Boo! Shame on you!
I gave this place 1 star because it makes you pick a star...the worst customer service ever!!! The associate lied about contacting me, and refused to order a frame for me that is still currently in rotation!!! I use to be the sales supervisor at a location up north and Im aware of how I should be treated and I wasnt treated properly!!! I will be reaching out to the corporate headquarters about this as well....it sucks that they are the only lenscrafters in Gainesville!!!!
Great service and friendly people. Will definitely recommend purchasing lenses here.
I had been to many Lens Crafters before. This is the worst!! You always have to wait like a lot.
The optometrist appts were linked too close together (15 mins apart) and you could tell the doctor was rushed and you were limited to asking only general questions with no time to elaborate on anything. Dont go on a weekend. The explanation on the fitting of the glasses was a little misleading, but the young LADY WAS VERY PATIENT.I WILL BE RETURNING TO MY REGULAR DOCTOR!!!
Great eyewear and a friendly staff!
This place is a rip off. I live an hour away and called three times because my glasses broke and I cant see to drive or anything. They promised they can fix it or have an eye exam and get new one done today. I get there and they cant fix them and then tell me I can come back tomorrow for an eye exam that they just took the last patient for the day even though its 2 hours before the place closes.
Avoid this place! They will rip you off even if you have insurance.
I was told my visit would cost $30 in total. At the end it cost $30 + $130.
Manager at this store is the worst. Hangs up on customers rather than deal with the poor service and communication from her store. Probably should be working in the back stock room or possibly in another industry.
What a disappointment. Why cant you have a message on your line stating you are closed.... I called the customer service number & they couldnt tell me if you were closed or not. Poor customer service!
Only two people working and neither was helpful
