Ive been looking forward to checking this place out. Its hard to find true Old-fashioned donuts. The ladies in the shop were sweet and very helpful. A lot of reviews mentioned the apple fritter... they were right! Its so good. So far every one that Ive tried has hit its mark. Fresh. Light. Sweet. Delicious. Ill definitely be back, and plan on trying the drinks and breakfast foods, at some point.

Yummy donuts! Happy to see staff wearing masks. We took ours to go!

We went at 2:00 pm on a Monday. There were plenty of donuts left to select from! They don’t require customers to wear masks, but the lady serving the donuts was wearing one. They have lines on the floor for social distancing.We got a half dozen donuts for about $7, including tax. Here’s what we got, in order of my preference:- Apple Fritter- Cinnamon Sugar- Old Fashioned- Bear Claw (cinnamon with apple filling; we didn’t like the filling that much)- Chocolate with Chocolate Frosting- Red VelvetThe Apple Fritter was definitely the best. We would get the first two donuts again, but we could do without the last four. She gave us four extra donut holes and they were delicious! These are good donuts for the area. Great Apple Fritter and great service!

First and foremost the service is amazing. I always feel welcome there. The breakfast sandwiches are great. I cant leave without donuts, the apple fritters and the maple bacon donut are the best. I always try to stop by whenever I can.

Had never been there before today. Their donuts were some of the best Ive ever had! They were fresh, and really would melt in your mouth. They had a great selection, and their prices were more than fair. The service was great, and the shop appeared to be very clean as well. I usually stop by one of the convenience stores when I want a donut, but today I decided to try Dannys donuts, and Im sure glad I did! I will definitely make this my go-to place the next time Im in Gainesville and want a donut.

Highly recommend the apple fritters. Maple bacon comes in a close second. The folks here are great, and they sometimes throw in a few extra donuts into the box just because they know how tasty they are. I’ve never tried the location on Dawsonville Highway, but the one in midtown is fantastic.

They have a great selection of doughnuts, always taste great. Have really good breakfast sandwiches, would recommend the sausage egg and cheese croissant sandwich

The coconut smoothie with Boba is so delicious. Their donuts are really good also. Great customer service. I highly recommend.

This is a must. Their doughnuts are the best in the state and they are priced to sell! Great service if you have a minute to wait for a breakfast sandwich I suggest it. Call your order in to pick up; the doughnuts are fresh and waiting on you. Service is excellent, staff is polite even during the biggest rush, and very accommodating. If your having a bad day this place is the best pick my up and if your starting your day this is how you do it right.

This place has the most amazing doughnuts. They were voted the best in Hall County. The guys are super friendly. Its a great local business and a cherished part of the community. I cannot overstate how incredible they are. I recommend them without any hesitation.

This is the review Im most excited to do! Im not even kidding you! Their donuts are Sooooo good! The flavor is buttery and theyre always fresh, even at the end of the day. I go for the creme filled ones because theres so much creme in them. When Im done eating one, I almost always have more creme in the last bite than I do donut! Lol. Dannys donuts put Dunkin to a crying shame with their pitiful one tsp of creme in their non-creme filled donuts. If I could do a commercial for Dannys..Id do it in a minute!! The bonus in going there is that Ive always found an extra donut, or a few donut holes thrown in when I open the box to eat them. Great price..amazing donuts and friendly smiles..always! Very surprising for a small, unadvertised family chain. You cant beat them..PERIOD.PS..I dont work for Dannys..Im just a believer in their product!🍥

Always the best service and the best donuts. Their donuts are so much better than even Krispy Kreme and they usually give you a little something extra in the back. Just a great place to go and do business.

BEST DONUTS EVERRRR. Other places like Krispy or Dunkin like to leave a weird oily film in your mouth and most times arent fresh so with that being said please try Dannys because theyre doing something better.

Wow! This place has every kind of freshly made donut you could want.I dont care for donuts so I go for their breakfast croissants and burritos. Both are excellent.My girlfriend really enjoys the blended iced coffee drinks they make.The people who own/run this place are very kind and friendly. They seem to enjoy what they so and appreciate their customers.

Dannys Donuts has a huge selection of donuts, breakfast sandwiches, and breakfast burritos. Ive tried a lot of the items on the menu and theyre all great! Go early in the day for the best selection. I try to get there before 9:30 AM. The buttermilk bars, bear claws, and blueberry cake donuts are my favorite!

If you havent tried Dannys yet youre missing out on the best donuts/pastries youve ever had in your life! There are no shortcuts taken and I have never been disappointed in anything Ive ever ordered. And now they have multiple locations for more convenience.

I havent actually had a donut but I buy them for others repeatedly. People love them. Everyone who works there is nice. The only problem is they sometimes run out of the best donuts.

I’ve been a loyal fan of Danny’s Donuts ever since they opened. The donuts are always fresh — sprinkles are my personal favorite, they’re like a cake donut! The other day I went to buy a half dozen & as I was pulling out my credit card I noticed the gentleman behind the counter putting something else in the box, but I didn’t think anything of it. When I got home & opened the box, I noticed he had put THREE extra glazed donuts in my box (hallelujah)! This is why I love Danny’s — consistently great customer service, everyone behind the counter is so nice, great donuts & a little something extra just because.

Many choices, you must come here! Best donuts I’ve had so fluffy and flavorful but what is even better is their customer service is absolutely the best I’ve ever had. Love getting the couple extra donuts holes!! It is very good on price also so don’t feel guilty ordering a lot 😅 new favorite.

Two things: they have the BEST boba tea Ive had anywhere, I highly recommend that you have the taro flavour. They are also incredibly sweet and often add in little bonuses to your purchase; I got a half dozen and the guy behind the counter threw in some donut holes as well and FILLED the cap of my taro tea with extra tea and whipped cream.Ive only had great experiences with them and I will continue to support their business 💞💞

My daughter says these are the best donuts she has ever eaten! Up until now, weve not had fresh, homemade donuts when we go out, so its amazing what a difference it makes! This place had great cream filled glaze donuts, honeydew melon with tapioca black pearls, and small glazed donut holes. The breakfast burrito had fantastic smoked sausage and warm potatoes.

... been here a couple of times. The place is clean and the people are friendly. The donuts were fresh and the prices were not bad at all. The place is a little hidden (behind CVS) but worth the look. They were very fast with service too. I sat in the car and watched people enter and exit really quickly. This is my new go to for donuts

The thing that makes this place so good is that the doughnuts are made fresh at the location every day. When you get a dozen assorted you really get an assortment not just filled and regular like the other guys. The one downside is that these things are so good that they regularly sell out (a good sign). So get here early if you want to get in on that fried dough heaven that is Dannys Donuts.
