I meant to leave this review weeks ago, but I couldnt be happier with the care and service they provide! I purchased my scooter in January 2021 and they answered all my questions honestly without making me feel pressured into buying a scooter. When I was ready to make the purchase, they not only walked me through the process of owning a scooter, but theyve provided awesome care anytime I needed a service (i.e. mileage service check-ins, trunk replacement, etc.) If youre considering buying a scooter Id highly recommend stopping by here, theyre genuinely kind people :)

We purchased my daughters scooters from New Scooters 4 Less, which was a mistake. She found Campus Scooters and has been using them for repairs and service for over a year. They are amazing! They go out of their way to get to her quickly and even did an emergency roadside pick up as a huge favor! Their prices are fair, they are courteous and perform repairs really fast. Love these guys!

This place is just amazing. Every time I go they are very professional and the service is fast. The owner comes out to greet you and makes you feel very welcomed. Campus Scooters has been incredibly helpful since I got my scooter. Every time I go in for a routine check or to store my scooter, there is someone readily available to assist me. They have answers to all my questions and are willing to spend extra time to help me out. Theyve driven out to where my scooter is because it wont start, theyve replaced spark plugs, and done other things above and beyond. I would recommend this place to everyone for great service and trustable products!

I originally purchased a scooter from a dealership in Tampa. After only 3 days of using it, it refused to start. A friend recommended Campus Scooters so I called Dave and he was extremely helpful and picked up my scooter. After looking over it he determined that I had been ripped off; the entire gas tank was rusted out and the carburetor was shot. He worked well with the other dealership and helped me convince them to refund my money. I then bought a new bike from him and couldnt be happier. He is an extremely honest man who has been in the industry for ages and really knows what hes doing! He also has a great relationship with the companies he buys from, making it easier to get spare parts if you ever need anything repaired. He was very reasonable in the pricing and doesnt overcharge at all (for repairs, storage, and products!) which was great after hearing some of the pricing offers from competing stores in the area. Also hes available to call if you ever have any issues or questions. I would DEFINITELY recommend checking out Campus Scooters first for any scooter related needs!!!!

Very professional, great service, and better rates than other shops in town. I always get my CBR 600 serviced here. They are very honest and always make sure to look over my bike anytime it’s there to make sure everything is working correctly regardless of what I am having done. I would recommend these guys to anyone!

The place is good to a point. I recommend buying your scooter here, BUT I do not recommend getting it fixed or serviced from here at all. I had multiple recurring issues with my scooter which was a crack in the valve causing the scooter to die at stops unless I kept it gassed. I took it in twice and paid over $50 twice, took it to Affordable Scooter repair and had showed me the work they had done.. or lack thereof. The had discontinued one of my valves so disconnected it, they had mended the other valve but not even replaced it. The guy at Affordable scooters showed me how he took out the valves and put in new and higher quality valves. It took 10 minutes for him to do it. At Campus Scooters, I feel way over charged as well as unable to trust their work at all. I was even quoted one price and agreed upon it, then called days later to ask about my scooter which is when they explained they found more issues on the scooter and fixed it and charged me more without even consulting me.In conclusion, buy your scooter here then service and fix it at Affordable Scooter

Had a great experience here. I was in and out in such a short time and was treated very well. I went in to get my taillight fixed and they ended up fixing a couple other things free of charge.

We could not have been more satisfied. We came in a couple times to get info before making the purchase and the employees were extremely helpful. They answered our questions with warmth and expertise and treated us with their total attention. This made buying my first scooter an amazing experience.

Campus Scooters has been perfect so far. I bought a $799 taotao from there and has not let me down since. They inform you of everything you need to know about the scooter and the recommended maintenance you should perform on it to keep it at top form. If you are looking into buying a scooter. you should obviously be at Campus Scooters. Low price and reliable! They also go to you if your scooter isnt working. Dave is great! I called when my scooter wouldnt start and they came and picked it up the same day. They were very fair on pricing and even told me which things that I didnt need to get fixed. it was fixed very quickly and for a reasonable price and I have not had any trouble with it since. All around great company to work with.

Just want to publicly thank them for being honest and providing the best service possible. My college daughter has had a lot of trouble with a used scooter she bought and they have done a lot of work on it for her. They’ve also gone out of their way to help find money saving repairs for her knowing she’s on a very limited budget. They’re service of picking up and dropping off the scooters is 5 stars in itself. We bought our scooters here in May 2018, we have repeatedly had to taken them in to get fixed. Works for about 1-2 weeks then back to not running. Please dont buy your scooters hete if you want them to run.Retract: after posting negative comments, management contacted my husband about our scooters and are going to fix it, make it right. So 5 stars after all. Update to come.

I found myself without a car and relying on rides to get me places. Things became really challenging really fast. Dave and is wonderful bunch at campus scooters were honest and helpful. I had never ridden a scooter or motorcycle in my life. They took the time to explain everything to me in detail. You can tell they really care about their customers. I took my scooter here repeatedly for over a year. Every time I got my scooter back it would work for about a week until I started having problems with it again. Every time they replaced my battery with a “new” battery, I would last for about 2-3 months.I decided to try to go somewhere else and the mechanic was quickly able to figure out what was wrong with my current battery. The new mechanic also noticed although it was running again, it was only running at 80% and didn’t want to give it back to me until he had fully fixed it. He kept working on it until he figured it out. My scooter now runs better than when I first got it, is faster, and has had no problems since I took it to the new mechanic.Campus scooters repeatedly gave me back my “fixed” scooter without taking time to find out what the real issue was. I wasted so much time and money dealing with campus scooters.

Campus Scooters is a great place to buy or fix your scooter. Prices are not bad, they provide a good service and they respond responsibly if anything is not working for you. I have gone to other mechanics in town, they charge chipper but at the end going back to Campus Scooter is what really fixes the problem. These guys know what they are doing, my scooter is running great and I havent had a problem with it since I took it there last time.

I have been dealing with Campus Scooters since I purchased my scooter in October of 2012. The crew is very efficient. Dave says he will get something done by a certain time, he does. When I first got the scooter I had fuel issues and Dave recommended using the Shell station to fill up and since I have, I have not had any more issues. Yesterday, I called Campus Scooters because my scooter was broken down in the middle of the street due to a flat tire. I spoke with whom I believe is Gene and he informed me that the company driver was unable to pick up my scooter due to a full schedule, but they would send a mechanic to pick it up. When the mechanic showed up, he assured me that theyd have the scooter fixed before they closed. Also, he was kind enough to drop me off at work because it was on the way back to the shop. Campus Scooters is amazing, they saved me from being late for work, paying for an Uber, and I even got my scooter back the same day! Loved shopping for my scooter here! In Fall 2017 my boyfriend and I were frantically searching for a scooter to get us to school and back. We first went to NA4L where they were charging an arm and a leg for a scooter that did not fit Iran price range. After googling the closest scooter shops we came across the team at Campus Scooters. They helped us pick out a scooter that was within our budget and were super friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. Now at the end of the spring 2018 semester I am still using the scooter and routinely go back to them to get it serviced and if anything issues arise. Just this semester our battery died (our fault) and they were quick to help us out. Will always recommend to friends who are looking for amazing, affordable scooters about the team.

My scooter sat all summer and would not start. Ive had bad luck with the other scooter places in town and decided to give Campus Scooters a try. Not only was the free pick-up awesome, but Dave was able to repair my scooter and have it ready to go in less than 24 hours! Ive had to wait nearly a week at other repair shops. I normally dont write google reviews but this has been one of the most egregious experiences I have ever had; especially with a service this HIGHLY RATED on Google. I read several good reviews and decided to try their service. Initially they were very helpful and even agreed to help repair/resell the scooter.After picking it up, they made little effort and did not follow up on their offers. They eventually agreed to fulfill some of their offers but at a high cost. Once we decided to take our business elsewhere (to a family friend), the representative was very rude and argumentative. They then told us it was fair to charge us for a so called free evaluation since we were not getting a repair. We could not get our scooter back without paying them. At which point we tried voicing our displeasure with the service, they then informed us that they still had to charge us. At which point we decided we would just walk away and not use the service again. We were not displeased enough to mention anything about them publicly.The last straw happened when Campus Scooters dropped the scooter back off. After requesting the scooter to be dropped off where it had been picked up (we specifically stated near the building); they childishly decided, SINCE WE HAD COMPLAINED, it was best to drop the scooter off next to the dumpster and leave the KEY in it.They say it was the instructions you gave us, but I dont believe we ever said leave it at the dumpster, 200 yards from our apartment, with the keys in the scooter when we are not home.I advise whoever reads this review to strongly consider using another service, If you do decide to use this service please be aware of these concerns. I also understand this may be an anomaly but I am still in disbelief at the level of service they thought was appropriate.

I was very impressed with Campus Scooters! I am a student at UF and was unfamiliar with scooters at first and they informed me how I should maintain it. They are extremely friendly and accommodating. Any time I had an issue with my scooter, I called and they came to pick it up immediately. They have the lowest prices I was able to find. Definitely recommend!

Caught a staple from some construction sites near my house. Called around everywhere in town to see who had my tire, an odd -sized one at that. Campus was one of 2 places that had it. The sales woman on the phone was very polite and offered much more help than the other shops in town did in helping me find what I needed. Now I myself am quite handy, so I removed the tire myself and brought it in for the change. Doing this cut the wait time drastically. I literally used the restroom and came back to my tire waiting for me. They even went so far as to put a very nice metal right-angle valve stem in it for me. They even answered several questions I had about torque specs for my drive nut. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a quick and reliable scooter tire repair.

By far the best experience, I have had with a scooter repair company. I have an old scooter that tends to break down often so I have been to multiple places throughout Gainesville. The prices here were the fairest and the one of the employees Dave was probably the nicest and most knowledgeable employee that I have ever dealt with. Definitely coming back

I am a sophomore at UF and I came into campus scooters with no clue. After seeing a scooter, I went to New Scooters 4 Less to see if I could find it cheaper, but I ended up going back to campus scooters because it was by far, the least expensive. I was extremely nervous because I had no car to get me around, but luckily campus scooters does free pick up and delivery so I never had to worry. I once locked my keys in my scooter and Dave was there in less then 10 minutes to get it out. They are extremely reliable, 100% recommend

I recently took my scooter in for what I thought was going to be a major repair. Staff was very helpful and the repair was much less than I anticipated. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing sales or repair!

Campus scooters was always my go-to scooter repair service since my freshman year. I always thought they had the best prices and service. While they do have great prices, I have since discovered that you get what you pay for. Two years ago, my throttle cable snapped and I called them up to fix it. Dave did it in one day and I was extremely pleased. However, over time my scooter seemed to lag and the handlebar to hit the gas was loose. After I graduated, I took my scooter to a trusted family friend who is an expert at fixing scooters. He informed me that the repairs I had gotten were botched. The throttle cable was far too long for my type of scooter, which caused other things to malfunction inside the scooter. This shows that the technician either didnt care or just wanted to get the job done quickly. Seems to me like this repair caused more problems which led me to call them for more repairs over the years. Additionally, during one of the repairs, they broke the front wheel mechanism that runs the odometer, causing the odometer to stop reading my speed. (Not good, especially on campus). Lastly, Dave changed my battery once without asking me because apparently my battery was old and needed replacing. The new battery he put in was terrible and died on me almost every time I came to a complete stop. I should have called them about it but at this point I was ready to graduate and didnt want to deal with paying for yet another service. My family friend changed my battery again and Ive noticed a clear difference. My scooter now comes to life immediately and keeps running even when idle. Overall, this review is not meant to bash Daves business but I think its worth mentioning that I dont believe I got superior service like everyone says. I think that in my situation, this business cut corners to deliver their service quickly. I would have rather waited longer and paid more at NS4L if I had known what I was getting myself into. I think Dave is great for small repairs and oil changes, but go somewhere else for the more complicated repairs.

I got my scooter fixed at another place and they screwed it up. When I took it to campus scooters, they had it running like the day I first bought it after only three hours!

Dave is the best scooter mechanic in Gainesville, if not the entire state. I get a lot of custom work done by him on my ruckus and he is very knowledgable. He does not try to make a killing like the other scooter places in town. He prices his work very fairly. Dont waste your time anywhere else in town. Dave is the man! He is also an army vet so do the right thing for your country and support campus scooters.

I took my scooter to NS4L, from where I purchasd it, where they claimed I needed to pay almost $400 to repair my scooter. After finding this price absurd and deceitful, I called Dave from Campus Scooters, he picked my scooter up and gave me a free estimate and an oil change, after diagnosing the same problems NS4L said my scooter had, my price from Campus scooters was only $140 with multiple repairs. Dave is an honest and fair guy, and the staff at Campus Scooters is helpful, friendly, and professional. This is by far the best place to purchase or service a scooter. This business is highly recommended.

It is the worst place that you can take your scooter. they are not responsible also very expensive. I took my scooter and he said for 2 or 3 days I will call you. and after one week he called and said your scooter will be ready in one week more because we have to order something . then I called him and said today I will come and picked it up. I can not wait. then he called, we found one in the store. the time that they called me that is ready, I went and it was not fix correctly. so it is better to save your time and money by NOT to take your scooter there.

I have to give their service thumbs up!!! My friend stored his scooter at my garage for a year or so and somehow it did not start a while ago. I called several shops to ask whether they can pick up the scooter. They all charge $30-35 one way, about $50 round trip. Campus Scooter pick up the scooter, gave me accurate estimate, fixed it and delivered to me in one day. Who can bit that? The owner is very friendly and trust worthy. Because he also fixes airplane, I believe fixing scooter is piece of cake for him.I used to go to Solano since I purchased my own scooter there. But it always took long time for them to pick up scooter and longer to fix it, and you also need to pay for pick-up. Most importantly, they fixed my gas gauge twice, and it still is not working...So I strongly recommend to give this new shop a try!

Thought this place would be a good place to buy and service my scooter. The owner (Dave)along with employees are rude and take advantage of people. They sold me a scooter that they cannot figure out the problem with(wont start for hours or sometimes days) after the 4th time in a month that my scooter was in the shop because they couldnt diagnose the problem I get it back and the trunk is broken, its all scratched up and had no gas in it when I dropped it off with a full tank. They never call to give you updates and just assume you should know to pick up you property yourself. Worst experience ever. Dont ever go here

Campus Scooters was a huge blessing for me recently. A few days ago my scooter wouldnt start and I was stranded somewhere not very close to home. I called them and thank God Dave from Campus Scooters wasnt far from me so he came to me in less than 5 minutes. He saw that I had a small problem with loose bolts and he fixed it for me right on the spot free of charge. This showed me that they were honest with pricing because he could have fixed it and still charged me but he didnt and I was so thankful for that. Campus Scooter pronounced a Kymco Sento 50 scooter as being totally broken. The head is trash. Its probably not worth fixing.Being a little suspicious of them and their aggressive posturing, we decided to just cart it away. ($50 was the charge for the diagnosis) They would only accept cash.The co-ed daughter had selected the place.They badly misdiagnosis the problem. We got it running for a $3.40 part.Honest mistake? Just incompetent? Not likely with these guys.

They are always willing to come pick up my scooter when it needs work and even bring it back to me if I am having trouble finding a ride to their shop. This was the first time I owned a scooter which made me skeptical about how I would be able to find a trust-worthy sccooter retailer. I took my scooter to a motor cycle shop in Jax where I live. BIG MISTAKE! I have a daughter at U F so I figured with all the scooters there, common sense would dictate that there should have a shop that knows what was going on.I took it to this place and immediately knew I came to the right place. The guy with the beard was there and immediately gave me three different scenarios as to what it might be. I was ready to have him replace all of the fuel system because I didnt want to lug the thing all the way back if it gave me problems. He actually talked me out of that and had me wait until he looked at it. It turned out to be a relatively small problem. I would definitely use these guys again.

I brought my scooter in because I put the wrong kind of oil in the tank (4stroke for a 2stroke scooter)- I had been driving the scooter for a month without any issues but my parents urged me to bring it in and get the tank drained. The campus scooter guys cleaned out the tank and did a full maintenance sevice and it was about $200. The day after I got my scooter back it began giving me issues that I had never had before. It wouldnt start unless in direct sunlight and not without coaxing and relentlessly kicking the kickstart for up to a half hour. I got stranded at work in the middle of the night and had many other issues-soon it wouldnt start at all. When campus scooters eventually picked up my scooter two weeks later, they informed me that my shock cable was broken and flooding the carburetor- the worst part was, it was gonna take two weeks and another $250. When I mentioned to the guy on the phone that I had no issues until they had done work on it and kindly asked if theres any way they may have broken the cable, he cut me off and snapped that I had driven the scooter 86 miles since they worked on it so there was no possible way they could have done anything to it, it must have had been my fault. When I tried telling him that each of those miles was a struggle to get my scooter on and the whole time it made a strange sound, he wouldnt hear it.

Called campus scooters because my scooter had broken down and other places wanted four days to pick it up. Campus scooters picked it up that day and had it repaired for a reasonable price in no time

I bought my scooter on Craigslist and a few months later it wouldnt start up. Ive read good reviews previouslyabout Campus Scooters, so i gave it a shot. He came out to my complex and picked it up and had it back to me the next morning! He called before doing anything to let me know what was wrong (there was an electrical issue and i guess the previous owner rigged up something hazardous that he noticed!). It cost me about 120 to fix a couple issues, great pricing! I also purchased a helmet with a face shield that is super comfortable for only $50 and it fits in my scooter. Cant beat that, i highly recommend Campus Scooters!

Omy goodness! I have never in my life met better salesmen. The brothers that own Campus Scooters are both reliable, trustworthy and always friendly. Its my first year in college away from home and I couldnt afford a car. I called all around town asking for prices and they have the most reasonable. The customer service these guys give you is a amazing, after meeting them I wouldnt trust anyone else in buying a scooter. If youre having trouble with your scooter anywhere in town, they will come to you for free and do a service check. Even if you are stuck at school or work. They wont rip you off like the other companies charging you outrageous prices, nickle and dimeing you for everything... they are awsome thats all theres to it.
