If you live in or near Germantown MD, this is the place to meet your international needs. Especially if you are from Africa. Gina the owner, is warm and extremely friendly. If want something that isnt usually found in her store, she will do her best to have it the next time you are in her store.

The cubby guy that always behind the cashier is very rude n doesnt know how to talk to people nicely. But when I went there today which is black Friday I meet another guy behind the cashier which was very polite n nice. I think hes new.

Ill always shop here bcos of the price and easy access to the items.

Shop at your own risk. I JUST bought waist beads from the female cashier they broke off the very same time frame, I went back to show her she was SO RUDE and she literally put the blame for their POOR QUALITY PRODUCTS on me. After arguing with me and my boyfriend over refunding my money or replace the products(I wanted the beads replaced) for more then 30 mins, I was so upset I just walked out. The owners of this establishment (wife&husband) literally MAKE UP THEIR RULES AS THEY GO. Sad to say I’d never be buying from here again I love to support black owners(I’m west African from Liberia) but I’d never shop here again. SAVANNA(great African store and service) IS 10 MINS AWAY Down the road. If I could give them less than one stars I would.

It looks like customer service has been taken for granted in this store. The reason, I am not too sure. For such a small store I had to stand in line for almost 10 mins waiting to be checked out. That is not good enough.
