Love Costco, the quality, the selection and the concept. This particular one has very challenging parking and access issues. As one would expect, visiting on a weekend means crowds but this store gets an A+ for speed of checkout.

Its my favorite place except the parking lot which is kind of a mess. I wish they would install an elevator.The store itself is always clean, neat, well organized, well stocked, and has friendly staff. Even when the store is packed and lines are long, the lines move quickly and the carts are removed quickly from the parking lot.I do wish they carried more halal items but I appreciate all the halal and kosher and other specialty items they sell.

A complete one store for your living. The complete wholesale store. What not you get here. Such a big crowded wholesale store. I love the products they have which always have some discount. And the quality is also very good. Very big parking space and over the weekends you hardly get any space. Thanksgiving is just over and still they have some deals open. Christmas is coming and they are having a bunch of deals for Christmas trees, lights and ornaments. Best customer service, quality items with reasonable price & abundance. The only problem I face in Costco is always to remember where everything is located. Otherwise, I have to ask a staff to help me locate it. Instead, I prefer Costco to have an app to at least locate where each items are located.

Costco is whole sale store where you can buy most of the products and also for general public too . It comes membership fee and depends upon what membership you would like to have. Its a good place shop with better than most places along with proper quantity for price you pay .

Todays experience was disappointing. Wanted to sign up for membership. First tried to walk around and see if I will like to shop there or not. One of the associates was following me around and frequently reminded me about directions to service desk. I thanked him about 5 times for it and told Im making decision if I comfort there or not. Guy was still walking behind me. I asked him if he afraid Im kind of dangerous if I not a member yet? Finally I got rid of him and walked to service desk. And what I found there? Only one person and long line of customers. Ok. Waiting my turn for 20 minutes and after all lady behind the counter couldnt decide IF ITS PERMITTED TO LET ME SIGN UP IF I HAVE NON-DRIVING ID! She was sure it must be driving license! Never heard anything so ridiculous before.I dont think I will ever come back

One of the biggest wholesalers in the area. Got lots of electronic products than the competitors. Good selection of fresh produces and basically all other household products. If you can find the brands and products you are favored in the shop or you dont mind the Costco own brand, it is your one stop store. Due to the shops popularity, most of the time is very crowded inside and at the parking lot...hence a star deducted from the rating.

Considering the foot traffic this Costco gets, it is relatively small as compared to other Costcos I have been to. Parking is always a challenge. Getting your vehicle in and out takes 5-10 minutes on a good day. No gas station. There is always a huge line in returns section. I dread going to this place on weekends. You will rarely find empty boxes at the checkout. I prefer driving to Frederick one.

Like what is offered at Costco at a good price. Just wish the customers at Gaithersburg, MD Costco were more polite to others. They shove their carts into others, never feel others should go ahead of them in aisles and are just rude.

Just got home with four big ole New York strips and the largest hunk of fat I have ever gotten in prepacked meat. Over 4oz. Very disappointing. It wont give allow me to post a pic.

Costco has so many wonderful products at good prices; rotisserie chicken, mango salsa, tasty blueberries and strawberries, amazing pesto, fresh seafood (at some stores only), and casual clothes (t shirts, shorts, socks). I could go on and on. Staff are usually very nice and helpful.

Compared to all Costco’s that I have been to, this is probably ranked the worst in my eyes. Staff are incredibly curt and rude, and customer service does not even care about helping customers that form long lines. I went in to the store, hoping for a pleasant experience like I have normally had in the past, but the rude and unhelpful staff makes me want to avoid this location specifically.

I’ve been going to this Costco for years. The staff are really professional and calmly handle the large crowds. This morning, Wilson patiently spent 30 mins looking up an online return for me, he was most kind and courteous and really wanted to help. An employee named Nick patiently helped me organize my numerous purchases at check out.

I have been coming here for two decades. Food supply of very good quality at a reasonable price. The best price for a lunch, vitamins at a bargain!!!

The employees at the tire center are extremely rude to their customers. On top of this I was told they had my tire in stock via phone call and after I arrived and waited 30+ minutes they told me my tire was out of stock. Then they told me my tire was discontinued. Why was I not informed this when I called?!?! This is unacceptable especially when I pay for a membership. I waited over an hour only to receive poor customer service and waste my time.

Love COSTCO - always have. 25+ years of being a member. This location gets very crowded on the weekends and I personally prefer shopping mid-afternoon on weekdays.

I am a frequent Costco shopper but I must say my last experience was one that I’ll never forget. I thought we were out of a product and I expressed it to a very nice lady at the register named Hirut and she was sure that we had it so she walked me back and low and behold we found me the last Shea moisture conditioner. We had an amazing conversation and she just wowed me with her customer service. I will definitely be coming back! 5 stars for Hirut.

Decent store but I really HATE their parking lot layout. Poorly designed parking lot with tiny spaces and aggressive, impatient drivers pushing to take a parking spot. If you park at lower level you can’t really take a cart to your car you will have to carry stuff to the car. Would recommend to shop there M-Th in the morning to noon for less people and cars.

We were visiting family. Needed a few items. Parking was a nightmare and dangerous. Very crowded for a week day. Did not find what we wanted.We love Costco - just not this location.

One either gets and extremely helpful or an extremely useless associate at this Costco. Today (13 September) we were helped/harassed by the worst, rudest and most unprofessional associate. His name was Paul and he should be fired. Even the person packing our shopping cart was in shock with the way we were treated.

Shopping at this costco is a pleasure especially because of the amazing customer service. Hirute is an amazing employee and I make sure to always say hello when shopping! She always has a smile and isVery assisting. She makes it a great experience each time! Highly recommended!! :)

While Costco was extremely busy, the shelves were well stocked, the bakery, produce and meat department all had great products on display. My only complaint at the Gaithersburg Costco is getting in and out of the parking lot. It is a little better when the police are directing the cars going in and out of the parking lot but they werent there today.

The people are nice, well taken care of, and good bang for the buck.But the samples. AMAZING. Do I even have to say more?

One of the worst organized Costco stores. Things are difficult to find, parking is always packed. As a result of bad store and parking layout shoppers seem to be moving around the store much slower, frequent cart traffic jams.

If I could I would have given a negative. It was extremely crowded, which I am kind of use to but no one was keeping their distance. AT ALL!!!!!! The crowd at the eatery was ridiculously long and they had only one person at the register and one person as the runner. I had to let them know they were doing a great job. The tops for the drinks looked like drinks were spilled on them, they had no onions or other amenities for the hotdogs except ketchup and mustard. Now all of this I can over look. What I cant, no refuse to look over was the fact that not everyone was wearing a mask ( yes I know, they dont have to anymore but you would think with the new variant out there...), and one of those people had the audacity to walk back and forth, where people had their food, coughing left and right. One could tell it was not a fake cough. I left ASAP. People have to shop but if other people are sick please, please, please, stay home.

The parking for this Costco was crowded and difficult. There also was not many walkways to get from the car to the store without a impatient car ready to push you along. Inside the store was more crowded in store design than other Costcos Ive been in and the clientele seemed.to be in. A constant hurry. There were fat.too many self checkouts and not enough manned registers at this store. But I had different producs.then other Costcos Ive been in that I was really interested in.

Its like going to a roller derby!First, the parking lot is a nightmare. People are walking all over the place while people drive their oversized SUVs looking for parking and trying not to hit people. When they find parking, they park as if the parking lines dont exist.When you actually get into the store, its like a roller derby. Be ready to defend yourself with your elbows as the flow of traffic goes through path from the computer/wireless phones area, to the bakery, to the meats, to the fruits, dairy, frozen foods, then lines. If you go against traffic, be ready to face 6 carts coming at you at the same time head on.Most cashiers are nice. There is this one really old lady with reddish hair and really pale skin (like dracula) who has been there for decades. She is really mean. So, its best to stay away from her if you can.There is a cashier named King Solomon. Hes like the coolest guy working there...but I digress.Food court: The pizzas there used to be good. But sometime in 2018, it went down hill. The bread isnt as good and the toppings are scarce. The chicken bake are burnt. The hotdogs are contaminated because they dont close that cover like they should.Its busy most days. Its best to avoid Saturdays. When you are done shopping, there will be a dent on your car door waiting for you. Just letting you know.

If you ever try to squeeze 5 lbs of Balogna in a 2 lb bag you should use this Costco as your inspiration. I love Costco don’t get me wrong but this store was shoe horned into a small lot bordering Christopher Street and a car dealership in Gaithersburg MD.While it had all the amenities and features of Costco it’s just too damn small for my liking. And if the store is too small the parking lot mirrors the store size. Cars caroming around looking for close spaces where there’s none to be had.I’m giving it three stars due to size and location. All the other Costco’s I’ve been in have been spacious and easily accessible. They would have been better served to buy space in the Mall across the street (which will eventually fall the way of some Malls already in this country).

Specifically aimed at Costo online order and deliveryThese guys have no clue of what they are doing and no ownership.Got my treadmill delivered but delivery guys left if uninstalled, stating there will be different team coming in 1-2 hours for installation... and thats where the nightmare began. Called Costco customer service, got redirected to Costco logistics, then 90+ minutes of wait time, followed up a CS agent who doesnt who really sounded helpless. Finally the delivery guys came again and said they dont know how to assemble the product but will try and then its my fate. Spoke to someone at Costco logistics again and that guy asked me to wait for another couple of weeks or let his drivers try to do the assembly.. just ridiculous!!

This place is for those who like the shopping feeling with lots of people. It now has self-checkout. There is police car parked at the turn into the store on Russell Ave and the cop is also at entrance to ensure the capacity and customers. The lines are fast moving and not bad. I wish this place had a curbside pickup and combo pizza.

They have a line out of the door due to the new capacity restrictions but it moves very fast. I had an issue with a gift card deal from honey baked ham that I purchased a month ago. I brought a card to the register to pay for it not knowing that the cashier was supposed to take the card and then give me the real gift cards. Well they just left purchase card in my cart and not the gift cards themselves. I thought the gift cards were inside the purchase card. Not! I went back tonight and the manager was only mildly helpful. But he did get me with the security guy who recognized that since I still had the purchase card that I never got the gift cards which they are supposed to exchange them for at the point of purchase. He was great. My only compliant is with the fact that their cashiers were not properly instructed with the procedure that they were supposed to follow at the point of purchase.In general Im very happy to be a member of Costco because their price per pound on food is excellent and they have great deals on kids if other items.

Love shopping at Costco. Great deals and you save a ton of money. However, the customer service is terrible at the Gaithersburg location. I had two shopping experiences where a customer rep at the front entrance checking my receipt circled around my shopping cart three times as if I stole something. It was the most uncomfortable experience ever. Another time, I was told that they forgot to charge me twice for the Costco water and was stopped at the exit to pay for the second water case. If there was another Costco near me, I wouldn’t hesitate to go there.

Everything you expect out of a Costco: clean, stocked, organized. Plenty of employees around to answer questions and check out customers at the front. For such a busy, chaotic place, the employees are always friendly. Great selection of products that meet a variety of diet restrictions. I agree with others that a dedicated loading area would be nice; the drive way in immediately in front of the entrance is SUPER crowded.

Very busy place the packaging is fantastic all the dishes meats are fabulous every thing is well in place. The bulks last forever. The cashiers get you out in minutes. Join the club.

Cant go wrong with Costco products. The only reason this place got three stars are because of parking and store size. This store is always packed and parking is always difficult. So much traffic during peak time and not easy to get out of the store. Customer service is just doing their best to make everyone happy.

Very slow service! Their return line is like a zoo! or its like waiting in line for a rollercoaster ride a very long serpentine line and very slow moving! Their self checkout is a joke when compared to Sams club. This place has gone down hill in the past few years to say the least.

Everything and the kitchen sink is in there. A browsers delight; nice sales for buyers too.

This location is by far my favorite one to go too. The store is well kept which makes it easy to find the items you need. The employees are always nice and helpful. Recently, when I visited, I needed help locating an item and one of the employee, Hirut, saw that i was starting to get frustrated so she rushed to asked if i needed help. She was a very sweet lady who knew her way around the store very well. she went above and beyond to make sure i walked out the store with everything i needed.

This location is by far the busiest by store size and volume in all the ones I been to over tens of states. During this pandemic it is one I stay away from unless I need to return something, I like this location because they don’t hassle with or without receipt. The people who works there seems to be level. Now there’s self checkout which is great for fewer items. Be careful going here because the customers have little respect for personal space especially in terms of distancing. This is a definite drawback.

Fully stocked Costco, even throughout COVID and the Holidays. Also the closest Costco in the area, so it does tend to get a bit busy and conglomerated with people, but there’s a good flow of people walking in and out. I do suggest coming in not too late in the day since the parking area isn’t as ample and the check-out areas do get crowded.

Item varity in this Costco is way too limited compare to other stores.

As a Senior, Its terrific to be able to get into the store as much as an Hour earlier than other customers! Of course Im sorry this schedule was only born with the eruption of the Pandemic, but Im certainly greatful for the accommodation!! The store has always been kept pretty clean, and the employees tend to be responsive and courteous.
