Please support this local small business. This is the best Apple or Windows repair shop in the Gaithersburg// Germantown/ Clarksburg area. Alan dropped what he was doing this morning to take a quick look at my Mac Book Pro when I dropped by their shop and he provided me great advice at no cost. Hes more about genuinely helping people rather than just making a buck. I highly recommend.

Alan was friendly and professional. He stopped what he was working on to immediately replace my iPhones screen and battery. Im so happy to find this repair shop tucked away in Quince Orchard. I had a negative experience in the past with a mobile repair company, and I did not want to pay Apple list prices for replacement parts at their authorized locations. Absolute Repair provided convenience, reasonable prices, and a positive experience. I will definitely use Absolute Repair again in the future.

I can only say that Absolute Repair is truly one of the best repair service shops I have ever been to. Period. Not just for computer work. Just in general. They dont have many places like this around anymore. Fair, intelligent, affordable and extremely friendly. Great place! Friendly, detailed, and was able to fix my daughters shattered iPhone screen quickly. Great value and I really Like he replaces the glass screen protectors you purchase thru him for free. I’ve also purchased several iPads from him though the years all have been good devices.

Absolutely amazing

My Dell laptop power cord quick working. Since the laptop was out of warrenty, Dell suggested that I mail it to them and they could diagnose the problem (for which I could pay a good bit). Maybe they could fix and maybe they couldnt. Then my in home computer consultant said that I should get a new laptop. Ouch! What a pain in the wallet and in my life. I took my laptop to Absolute Repair and like magic it was fixed. The connector prong was bent. No muss! No fuss! Recommend this company wholehartedly.

I brought them my dead MacBook Pro. It would not turn on, no electricity would conduct, not on screen, not in LCD s, not from ports, nowhere. Then, somehow, it came back to life. Apple store diagnosed it and determined that nothing was damaged. Absolute Repair refused to take a penny from me, even though they had a chance to rip me off hundreds of $.

My MacBook Airs battery was swelling and causing the case and trackpad to become misshapen. Alan, the owner, diagnosed the issue in one minute over the phone, ordered me a new battery, had it in 2 days, and repaired the laptop in front of me in 15 minutes. The service was fantastic, reasonably priced, and I didnt have to wait for weeks at the Genius Bar. Great experience!

Insanely expensive and unfair pricing. Paid a hundred bucks for a used MacBook Pro battery that hardly lasts an hour. I was told the battery costs 35 dollars. So, 65 bucks for just installing a battery?!Moreover, no mention of the used condition of battery before installation.

Was not able to find a battery for my vintage model anywhere -- but walked in here, waited 20 minutes, and walked out with a new battery and a still working 2011 MacBook Pro. Easy fix and reasonable price.

Of course my daughter dropped her ipad 2 days before vacation which cracked the screen. I called around, and decided to take the ipad to Alan at Absolute Repair. I received a call from Alan letting me know the ipad was ready for pick up. During our call Alan had asked if I was having any charging issues with the pad which I informed I had not. When I arrived at the store he handed me the ipad, and I was set to go, however I questioned the issue with the charge. He plugged it in to a device to show me the amount of charge the pad was pulling. Upon doing so I realized that the pad was not mine. I told him that I was sure that it was her ipad as before bringing it in the previous day I had taken it out of her case in the car before heading into the store. He kept asking me if I was sure. I WAS SURE. This preempted a search around the store for MY ipad. He, and his team where completely lost in figuring out not only where my ipad was, but whos was fixed. The place was a wreck with work orders, and parts everywhere. After about 15 minutes they were able to locate my pad, however they did not know where the home key was that apparently is specific to each ipad. I knew when I choose this location to fix the pad that he only had 1 ipad air screen in stock. I then questioned that if that the was the only screen he had, and used it to fix the wrong pad what was the next step. He said that he would call a friend/ other stores to see if he could locate a screen, or would put a black screen on mine and change it out when we returned from vacation. I asked if he was sure it could be fixed he answered I dont see why not. I checked in periodically throughout the afternoon on the progress and was informed it would be finished before close at 6pm. I called again at 5:20 to check in again. Apparently Alan left for the day and was not able to fix the pad. I spoke with an employee who was at a loss of what to tell me. At first I got upset with him, but realized that my anger is misguided as Alan is the owner and the one who was responsible to fix the ipad. I asked that Alan call me back so I did not have to play the telephone game with the young man. The worker called me back and told me that they would replace my pad with a new one. I told him that would be fine. After hanging up the phone I called back to confirm that the new ipad purchased would be of the same caliber including storage space as mine, and offered to go purchase the ipad and save the receipt for reimbursement. At this point I was told that Alan said I cant afford to buy a new pad. This gave me the impression that he was going to try to pass off a used/ refurbished pad in place of my pad which I told the worker was unacceptable. I again asked that Alan call me directly. I also asked him to please not leave the store which was closing in the next 10 minutes without getting back to me as I needed the pad for our vacation as we were traveling with another family who had multiple kids with pads, and did not want my daughter to be without one. GUESS WHAT...NO CALL BACK. When I called I received the company voicemail. No call back from Alan. Fast forward a week to when I return from vacation. NOT 1 CALL THE ENTIRE WEEK I WAS GONE. I call the store and speak with Alan who is clueless on who I am. Once I give him the rundown on why Im calling we are on the same page again. He informs that the ipad screen has been replaced, but there is something wrong with battery which he is not willing to fix as he did not like our past transaction. HES NOT WILLING TO WORK WITH ME. HOW ABOUT IM NOT WILLING TO WORK WITH YOU EVER AGAIN!! Also how odd that both the incorrect ipad that was fixed, and mine had the same charging issue. PRETTY SKETCHY!! I have the ipad back and the screen is fixed, but Ill be taking it somewhere, ANYWHERE else to fix the battery problem which did not exist when I dropped it off.

Took an iPad in for replacement of a cracked screen. Was fixed within an hour. Couldnt ask for better service than that.
