The service was slow. A little to be expected they were busy. The ice cream didnt have much flavor. Not like it did years ago. And there were no condiments offered.

I’m 61 years old. Had a lot of club sandwiches at a lot of restaurants over the years. DK’s club is one of the biggest and best I’ve ever had! And...the ice cream is pretty darn good too!

Their ice cream tastes good. However I just cant give them 5🌟 bc they are a little pricey & because I typically order a cookie dough flurry (or whatever you have in it) & it only has about 10 or 18 pieces of candy in it. If you ask them to put in more they will charge you extra & only give you mayne 5 more pieces. Also, I took my dad there for fathers day once and he ordered a banana split that cost something like $7.00 and when he got it there was barely any ice cream in it. The ice cream couldnt even hardly be seen under the whipped cream. He was terribly disappointed. We still joke about how we got ripped off at the local ice cream store several years later. Several other dissatisfied experiences have happened at DKs ice cream as well. My suggestion is to go to Freds ice cream in Marion Ohio if you want good ice cream, generous portion sizes, & lower cost.

The food is good but for the price its not the best, definitely expensive. The owner gets rude when you ask for extra taco sauce so fyi...dont ask. The shakes are watered down and almost have no taste.
Nasty food. Undercooked meat on every incidence of my patronage, and soggy SOGGY buns, greasy fries (GREASY EVERYTHING).Overpriced for what you get, and WHAT happened to the Coney Sauce? Until this year, the Coney Sauce was about the ONLY thing decent.Furthermore, the actual prices are NOT what the whiteboards indicate. I pointed out this discrepancy the last time I was there. Id ordered an appetizer, thinking that, according to the price listed on the sign, I was getting that item for the price on the sign. But noooo. I was charged an extra .50c, as apparently that was the new (higher) price. I guess nobody had bothered to make that minor adjustment on the board, thus, I was forced to pay for the HIGHER price not listed on the sign. The owner shrugged this off rather nonchalantly, with a flimsy excuse that she just havent gotten around to changing it on the signsThis is false advertisement, bad business management, and quite frankly, warrants an investigation. No customer enjoys being fooled by false advertisements. As if it werent already bad enough that clearly NOBODY there can cook food properly...

The service was friendly and I didnt have to wait long for my food. Got a footlong hot dog fries and a large drink at the drive thru. Over 7 bucks for lunch...a tad high... but I wanted a treat. My drink ran out before I was halfway through the meal because it was full to almost the top with slushy ice. The footlong hot dog was greenish looking but smelled ok and tasted ok. The straight fries were great.The ice cream treats are great and I think thats why the reviews score is high. But if you are ordering food... proceed with caution. I would reccomend you get the straight fries and ask for light ice for any drinks.

$15 for a med turtle sundae a med glacier and 3 jr twists in a cup with faces and sprinkles. Didn’t taste bad. Just pretty expensive for what we got in my opinion, I also understand with 4 ice cream places in Galion it may be necessary for you to charge so high.
Love the ice cream and food here. You can’t find any ice cream better than DK’s. Not to mention the staff is always super friendly!

Very rude when you mess up something and the customer brings it to your attention you dont say no you said this you arnt suposted to afgure with a customer and get rude with them and for duter references once you take a order you should read it back just to make sure you heard everything correctly and no they didnt mess it up by no putting peanuts on my ice cream they gave me something completely different than what I asked for. I have never had this problem before just young girls who probably shouldnt be in a customer service job.
