The employees were helpful, friendly and attentive. You do have to be careful about the prices. Some items arent that much of a deal. Know how much items are at your regular grocery store before you go here to get the best deals. Selection isnt that good, but its worth the trip.

For being Galions only real grocery store, you already know they have pretty much everything you need. Service is usually good and they always have good deals

As the only grocery store in town,Save-A-Lot has been a great place to shop when I dont have the motivation to drive to Kroger in Lexington! This Save-A-Lot location is pretty well run,friendly cashiers/associates,and a good variety of foods to choose from;and at a low price!!

Helpful low prices. Everyone wears masks. Good sales. Sometimes they dont have enough employees so checkout lines can be long. Dont shop on Sundays because they dont seem to have anyone stocking shelves on weekends and they are consistently out of things by Sunday evening. Otherwise, I like this store very much.

The quarter machine carts are ridiculous, and I think the only reason anyone would steal a cart is because you have to PAY to bag your groceries. Selection is small, but not too terrible. The only good thing I can say is that the employees are generally nice, and I feel bad that they have to deal with the angry customers that corporate leaves them with.

This place can be best described as outdated, and for that I give 3 stars.Parking lot and facility is run down, it sits so far back in the lot between two derelict buiness chains in some form of mall chain. Watch for potholes.Food quality for vegetables are pushing dates, meat quality seems okAfter all never had a bad experience here with the staff.Good place to get groceries local.

Bought a couple items in food I needed

I used to go here all the time but I moved. Came back for a weekend visit. Went here for drinks and the cashier lady was very rude, made faces at me, and mumbled under her breathe.

Had a good experience. Got in and out without any issues. Randy was quick and friendly like always. A lot of empty boxes laying on the floor,which blocked one aisle,but the store was being stocked and the employees were busy.

When elderly ppl have to stand out in the elements trying to pay for a cart I have to rate it one star. E1 can say what they want about seniors having other options but the bottom line is sometimes they have to go out when they can. The storm hit here a bit earlier than expected and these ppl were froze and soaked by the time they got inside. Then they had to go thru the whole covid thing w washing their own cart and wearing masks... I was surprised to see so many out. Even more surprised to see the indifference shown by this store and others w pay carts. The use of a cart should be free for customers.

This is a much-needed, much-appreciated grocery store for Crawford county. The sad thing is that they tend to run short-staffed (by upper management, Id wager) for the volume of business they do. Get there earlier in the day for full-stocked shelves.That having been said, they have really good, inexpensive meat and produce. The store brands are decent quality, and the service is friendly, especially if you put in a kind word for their hard work.

Excellent place to buy lower cost substitutes of brand name products. Their lower price items are still really good quality. They could improve customer satisfaction by having more then one check out lane open.

Its save a lot, this parking lot has more holes than a heroin addict has track marks...

Very good pricing in their meats dept. I especially like thier Mexican steaks/ ribeyes are very good. And when theyre on sale it is an exceptional bargain!

Its a beautiful and clean and organized store.i can tell that they remodeled the store a little bit and made the store look better.the staff were also wonderful,caring and so helpful and a good personalities. I used to stop here often on the way to events at an art gallery in Mansfield, just for snacks- have never had an issue- and the prices are inexpensive.

Store is always nice and clean . There are two cashiers that I really enjoy, I believe theyre management of some kind . The only thing Id like to see more of is, fresh veggies. But you get what you get .

The shelves are bare! I was told that they cant get enough help and that there was a truck but they didnt have it unloaded. I picked up the last jar of caramel topping to buy but put it back when I saw that it expired in 2018. So sad that this is the only market on town.

Decent grocer with low prices. Their parking lot has recently been seen to so it’s much easier to navigate. They have low prices throughout their inventory and specials each week. A great shopping experience for Galion.

The steak that they have when they have it in stock that is is second to none. I love Chuck Steaks they have the best ones Ive ever had.

The bacon that was on sale was in the wrong place.At least they had the bacon.90 percent of the time,Items in the sale add dont come in at all for the week of the sale.

Bad stuff

Was sad that day cold outside I went in store realized needed more than I thought I needed cart watch waited for maybe customer ready to leave arms full ..no one ready everyone stocking up like myself...so I set my items down went outside get a cart maybe no one using someone else beat me to it ...no cart in front left of door all carts to right out door seem like half a block from store and raining I walk to get one and low and behold locked up ....I waited no one came out so went back in and no change cause I use card to pay....waited and waited cashier looked at me I looked at her couple times seen no carts available walked to office low and behold buried in corner behind shelves and boxes I seen about 4 carts cramped in there so I took one finally got a cart its awful when you dont have change with you .....

Prices keep going up. It claims to be a store where you can save money on name brand goods. But this is not the case anymore. They need to come up with some kind of deal on meats like Geyers in galion had. You could get 5 packs of meat for 19.99. That would bring more business cause I go where I can get a good amount of meat for a good price. Just a suggestion.
