I got a shower here. $14. It was great. Looks like it was remodeled recently. It was clean and had plenty of towels. There is a dispenser in the shower that has either soap or shampoo, but its not labeled so I dont know what it is. Thats about the only negative comment I can come up with.

Nice huge lots. Very clean. Clean both inside and outside. Bathrooms clean & stocked. Much bigger inside then it looks from the outside. Restaurant & game room inside. Staff is very friendly & helpful. At 8pm they still had spots open.

Go somewhere else... ANYWHERE else! Dont know why this place is even open! Whole store is under construction and you have to ask where they hid the bathrooms. Turns out its in the farthest parking lot from the truck area... and its a few gross, nasty, outhouses. They havent been pumped out, theyre no paper, etc. NOT worthy of the TA brand or reputation!

My wife and I use this TA in Gallup as a switch point on route to Cali. Each and every time weve been here, the place is sparkling clean. The pump area for trucks is a bit tight...no wide loads here lol. Never needed to chat with staff so no option on them out their service. This is strictly on the facilities outward appearance.Cheers

Only 8 pumps. 2 are out of service. If you pull in and dont see someone filling up knock on their doors. The Hindus love to take their breaks on the pumps

Country Pride here at Gallup really stepped up their game. We just had amazing chicken that was not dried out. The potatoe was good not hard. The service is amazing!!

Amazing food, service and cleanliness in the restaurant!!!!!! The entire truck stop was spotless inside and the parking lot was free of debris. Best truck stop experience EVER! Definitely recommend

Since this truck stop is pandering to the fraud known as covid19 by closing there restaurant at dinner time, then I will never again spend so much as one red cent here. Ill NEVER buy fuel here. Ill NEVER buy from the store. And IF they open the restaurant, Ill NEVER buy anything from there. And Ill NEVER use the mechanic shop. Shame on you TA for doing this to Americas truck drivers😡🤬😡

This is the ONLY TA I have ever been to that does not carry bags of ice! The cashier told me to go to the Loves and laughed. Ridiculous

No breakfast sandwiches there had to get a cheeseburger for breakfast. And no I didn’t want to sit for an hour at the restaurant.

The shop “mechanics” are CRIMINALS here!!!!Avoid Avoid Avoid!!!After changing a tire, one of the mechanics disconnected the handle on the fifth wheel,and I ended up losing my trailer right before entering the freeway!!! Went back to see the manager of the shop, and he wasn’t there!!!I think this says enough about their “service”!!!!

Before I could place my items on the counter i was accosted by the mask police. I was told I need to place some type of cloth over my face even though I am not diseased. I took this as an insult and left. I bought the items next door at Loves. I have spent countless thousands of dollars at TA over the years on fuel. I will only use it as a last resort now. The masks are pointless and the virus only affects those with respiratory problems. Please stand up to tyranny.

Just want to send a shout out to TA Mechanic/Technician Brett Meyers BAM‐TAG TA008 out of Gallup,NM. Brett is hands down the most pleasant and knowledgable mechanic I have ever dealt with at a TA location. Brett was aware that we were on a tight schedule and the shop had us in and out in just over an hour for a clogged fuel tank equlization line. Really amazing service for a TA is hard to come by. To the management of TA in Gallup,NM, Brett is truley an asset to your organization and should be recognized for outstanding service. Keep Up the great work.

Slightly better than the abhorrent Loves next door, but this whole town seems to be full of slummy property owners who forego property maintenance and sink all their money into addictions. Would a mop and a fresh coat of paint absolutely kill everyone in this town?

Stay away. They charged me $360 to say they couldnt repair my truck. Had it fixed for $206, at a 5 star rated company nearby.

June 18 2021, timings 3:12 am.Truck service guy was very rude. I went to the shop inside and asked, is truck service is closed, they send me bay 1 is open you can check bay 1, when i go inside bay one the repairing guy was very rude. He said shop is closed you didn’t see the sign, while he was working inside with some truck.

Very nice folks work here. If you need service on a vehicle, call ahead. Sometimes the wait time can be long and it helps to get into que before arriving. I have tried this twice and gotten in and out quickly.

Impressively rude and unprofessional. Not to mention 200$ markup on tires. ***These guys are scammers****Go to loves right next door.

Thank you for letting two gals on a road trip stop by and use your showers! They were extremely clean and easy to use. As well as, our waitress in the diner was extremely nice and playful. We appreciated the services all around.

Truckers dont bother, should have read the reviews first. They have no food options and no excuse. You are in 24/7 industry and dont even take care of your clientele. Left and went to another truck stop to spend my money. TA should be ashamed to treat drivers like sub-humans.

Everyone was very nice and helpful. Very clean. Got there early, so parking wasnt a problem. Always a treat to come out west and see the beautiful country. People seem to be so much more pleasant and appreciative, a culture that needs to be respected in my opinion. Great stop!!

Old school TA, no driver kiosk for getting fuel receipts stand in a long line just for that, in other words missing the convenience..

All service bays except 1 was empty. I saw some mechanics inside the shop doing nothing. And still the guy at the counter says 3-4 hrs wait time... MAY GOD HELP THE OWNER... This TA has gone from almost BAD to WORSE TODAY

The second visit to Golden Pride. Jennifer was our waitress. What a ray of sunshine!!! She was awesome.On our first visit, we were amazed to see the manager actually testing the temperatures in the salad bar. Have never seen that before. Recommend this place highly!

Fast service. The cook took the time to inspect the salad bar and explain to us about a particular dish. Waitress has a sense of humor. All in all not a bad experience

No beer.... Come on! You get 3 stars because restroom was clean

This by far the worst TA I been too took over 4 hours of sitting in the bay bc they was watching basketball then they changed a battery and shorted out my ECM on my truck plz learn from my experience DO NOT GO HERE they have no clue what they are doing I wouldn’t trust them to check the air in my tires the worlds worst TA by far

One of my favorite truck stops along a long open, desolate road. It might not be as modern as some other Pilot/TAs (eg: Toms Brook, VA), but it has a full restaurant, motel, and a dedicated pro-driver lounge. Pilot rocks!

It is a Truck Stop like most of them: this one in particular charged the customers (stealing without any reason) : the price of single drinks, when theres a sign that reads 2 × $4 ... or single for $2.69.... the lady at the register charged you for 2 single drinks even when you bring 2 ...and you get angry and disappointed at their honesty.

May 24th things are opening up in most areas, the restaurant has no takeout for drivers? Thought you were all about taking care of drivers, nothing but hotdogs in a open roller grill, real sanitary but you have no takeout, pathetic T/A who thought up this great idea?

This entire town is depressing and this ta is like a dust pit and the country pride should just close forever with the menu they got hardly anything and every thing is way overpriced

Sufficient truck parking but not as many as other TA centers. This store is more like a country store. At least 8 showers I seen and available. Truck spots fills quickly at this location nice store regardless

The bathrooms were clean, they have a nice looking drivers lounge && a good amount of parking spaces but I didnt like the attitude of the guy at the counter so I wouldnt come back to this location just cause of how rude he was. Tried to ask a simple question && his response was just extremely rude so consider yourself warned.

Great a truck stop that doesnt open till 8am and only lets 13 people inside. Dont bother stopping bathrooms arent that nice.

Nice place to refuel, buy refreshments and other items you might need along your road trip. During times when they are busy it can be cramped but most truck stops are when busy as it’s expected. Overall good choice of items, snacks and drinks along with supporting all who travel either large trucking, RV’s and everyday people traveling.

For a T/A parking is limited.. Big area on back row(northwest corner)but not allowed to park there..enough room for at least 10 truck/trailers..if you park here,security will make you move..NO PARKING SIGN IS SMALL AND HIDDEN..BETTER OFF ACROSS THE STREET OR NOT STOPPING

This T/A could be a great T/A. Good food, great staff, mechanics are on the ball. But it is the parking. Not very big, unless you use the dirt parking.. Then if it rains and or snow. It is small.

So as soon as I walk through the door one lady gives me a pleasant greeting while the other promptly leaves her register to follow me through the store pretending to be doing something else. I asked another lady through one of the isles for an item I needed she pleasantly told me where to look while still be shouldered by my new tail I bought my item pleasant check out, but my new tail followed me all the way to the door still pretending to be doing everything but following me. I was so annoyed I changed my mind from eating at the country pride and walked over to the loves and got subway instead.

Some of the people here are very rude. Refuseing service for not wearing a maskk. Im sorry everyone. But its a chioce to not wear one. If i dont want to then i wont. But please dont question and down talk people for choosing not to

Got fuel, ate at the restaurant, great service very good food- had the smothered chopped steak all you can eat soup salad- very big salad selection all for about 13 bucks. Very good service from the waitresses in the restaurant worth a stop. Also newly remodeled showers.

The TA in Gallup New Mexico. Its AWESOME....... Ive been here a few times. For some oil changes and now once my truck and trailer had to be towed off the interstate. And they took me right in...... Very courteous...... Very professional...... Just very nice people......

This TA is always a good stop. It doesnt smell bad like the TA in Moriarty New Mexico. The Country Pride food was good at our time of visit. The showers are always nice and clean, but we did have issues with hot water this visit. Hopefully they will have it fixed, cold showers suck really bad when youre looking forward to a clean hot shower as a truck driver.

Everything at this brand new Town Place Suites by Marriott is top tier. The staff was extremely Competent and have Outstanding attitudes. If your in Gallup and need place that has kitchenettes, with a full size fridge, electric stove, microwave and garbage disposal, look no further than here.

The T/A in Gallup New Mexico. Its a quite Truckstop. Not a lot happens here. There are NO Prostitutes walking around. You have armed security guards patrolling the lot and the inside of the store itself. The cashiers and the waitresses inside of the restaurant are super friendly. Over all its very nice to come to and be able to relax at after a long day out on the road.

Pancake combo was just wonderful.The staff was all polite and courteous.

Super clean bathrooms! Has microwave! This place rocks. They have everything you could need: showers, check cashing, laundry, restaurant. Best one Ive been too yet

The type of customer service you recieve is based upon each individual. Most of the employees are great and provide a good experience. The managers could possible be a little more polite. The stay in their rooms was okay. Not much I could complain about. Just random people could knock on your door at times. Supposedly, one entrance is closed during the night to provide safety. Even after explaining that I had quite a few belongings to take into the room. There were others who seen what I brought in and wanted to borrow this and that. I did not feel that was safe.

Not a bad place to stay. But If you have a dog, like I do. Theirs not any grass around to walk your dog. Train tracks run through by the TA so it was a little difficult to get a good nights sleep.

Last time I was here someone cut lock off my trailer. Finding out there was nothing they wanted. Out side of that place is fine.

Great location whenever Im going from California to Chicago its always a stopping-off point for the night. Its one of my stops favorite stops because the Popeyes Chicken here is excellent.

THIS IS NOT A TRUCK STOP! It may be a yuppie travel plaza, but I prefer to think of it as an amusement park, without the rides, shows, and parades. Well, whats left Craig? The waiting and prices. A chicken fried steak a little bigger than my hand, a scoop of mashed potatoes, and a piece of garlic bread smaller than my palm. $11.99. soda, about a can size $2.19. coffee this morning $2.19.

Paid 30.00 for the best steak they had. Asked for it to be cooked medium. It tasted freezer burnt, way to dry and tuff. The steak itself was closer to over well than medium. Waitresses gave my the check the same time i received my food. She was polite. I felt rushed so i left. 3rd time eating at a TA and all have been very poor.

Bought a 509 tire went 134 miles on it.took it to next ta .they called me a liar.i would never buy a tire from this placethey are crooks.ripped me off. wouldnt warranty the tire I only drove 134 mi on

Restaurant service was very slow and the restaurant was not busy at all. The food was extremely slow orders came out in random fashion it didnt seem to matter who was first yu could get your order quickly or it would be 30 minutes or more. The salad bar was fresh and good with a nice selection. The fish special was raw in the middle on the first order the second order was so over done it was like eating a fish cracker. The only reason for two stars is the server was trying really hard to make everything right it was the kitchen and the cook that really ruined the whole visit.

Ride and argumentative about everything. Id give it less than 1 star if I could.

Has a motel on site. Good rates and clean. And of course a 24 hours restaurant.

I wasnt expecting anything great. Had to spend 34 hrs here and put my truck in the shop. The restaurant had good food my waitress was nice and took care of me. My shop tech I think his name was jaw took care of me and went the extra mile. The other people in the shop were professional and nice. Will be coming back here next time Ill roll through.

The Country Pride Restaurant in the back was really good. The salad bar hit the spot for me and the service was really polite and attentive. Our server was Chris and he was very nice and was able to fulfill our requests. Thank you!

Its a good place to take our 10hrs brake. Sometimes in the fuel area no room for waiting, to close to the street. Parking lot its OK. Restaurant OK. The SHOP need to improve a little more and get the tools. This is my experience when they need to fixed a flat tire.

I stop by this location once or twice a week to fuel but during my last purchase I was really disappointed. They had a basket full of cookies right next to the register for 0.50 cent a piece, I thought that was a good price and bought 4 of them, but come to find out they tasted funny because it was expired only 4 days. I ate them all anyways lol.Another thing, employee dont really give you attention and carrying their own conversation while serving you.

All the TAs are the same, some have more parking than others. Staff is really nice, good products but many are priced too high. Good fuel. Ok showers. Food usually sucks at all gas stations.

Bathroom was surprisingly clean. No buffet at the country pride restaurant though. Very friendly staff too. I dont get out this way to often, but when I do. Ill be back. Good job

I read a couple reviews that stated the food in the restaurant was nasty and I disagree. The eggs were great! The chopped steak was nothing to get excited about but it was edible. I would not recommend the ice water but the coffee was pretty fresh. Nice atmosphere in the whole building. The restaurant sure have a salad bar and soup bar which come with lunch or dinner meals. Like one review said maybe a step below Dennys food wise, but better atmosphere in my opinion.

The little Indian gift shop here is very small but worth the stop. The man inside is very sweet and the prices are reasonable. Pottery I have seen sold for 60 to 80 dollars is sold for 20. Lots of dream catches... Best place I have been on I 40 for gifts, and a good conversations ....

This place is amazing! Open til 11 pm, so its perfect for roadtrippers. The pot roast beef was the best and their salad and soup bar is perfect. The staff was nice as well.
