It was great the first time I had it but after changing the menu its just not worth it. Smaller portions of meat is the down side. Maybe next time theyll be better, but I dont think Ill be taking that chance.

Stripped back atmosphere, food is awesome. I always get the mutton sandwich, Hatch green chili on it when available. The fry breads are massive. My husband loves the achii, too. Cant wait to be able to sit inside again and listen to the music coming from the kitchen while the cooks work.

I have been here a number of times now and each time is an experience of home cooked Navajo culinary delights. I have tried the various stews and have never been disappointed. The frybread is great and the Navajo Burgers are big and delicious.Covid restrictions limit to window service only.

When your craving mutton and think of grandmas this is not the place for you,we got steamcorn stew with frybread we was excited yet after biting into stew the corn was under cooked the corn never bloomed and meat tasted old like its been sitting there for a few days,we also got mutton sandwich which the meat tasted old & meat was sliced very thin with lots of bone in center not worth the $$$.. everything should be prepared daily and fresh

No Stars to give. The lady taking orders at the front window is very rude and unprofessional - no customer service at all. Our food was given to another customer after waiting 45 minutes for it. When we finally got our food, it was cold to the touch. The frybread was like 10x bigger than the paper thin slice of lamb meat.We will not be coming back to this place, unfortunately.

Customer service could be improved. The girl at the window did not greet us and looked like she hated her job. Will think twice about coming here again.

Only top place in Gallup besides the Flea market (closed) or Chili Factory that makes good real authentic Navajo Frybread. And not a sad version of a sad soggy sopapia with sauce.Ordered 1 Navajo Taco $8 (tell them if you want groundbeef on it) and 1 Navajo burger $10, great price and you get what you payed for, buena calidad 👍Walk up window order, The wait was 16 minutes,

Good service, good food, the guys can cook. The quality of the meat I purchased was excellent. Better price on lamb then any other shop in Gallup. My regular stop for steam corn stew.

This place was not professional. The waitress kept going to the restroom and adding orders that were not ours. The cook was Belligerent toward my mother and the staff and he smelled of alcohol. I do not recommend this place for anybody.

The prices are high. The mutton sandwich has a real thin slice of meat, with a lot of bone. The meat for sale is inexpensive. We also were able to meet Senator John Pinto.

If you want traditional Navajo dining youll find the very best here. We had the mutton sandwich on fry bread, mutton stew, mutton and dumlings, Achi and of course a Navajo Taco. This is authentic as it gets and no to mention super delicious. My family and I will be sure to stop in every time we travel through New Mexico.
