Good jewelry selection great place for cds traditional native music
Good service but didnt get wat I need, just look around
Boyfriend bought me a coral necklace for around $200. Confident in saying it was not coral, because the paint came off and exposed the plastic beads. I would not recommend, unless you like paying high prices for fake jewelry.
I didnt buy anything. The people were ready to serve you.
I bought the last of the sweet grass they had they were small and dried up Mr.Tanner we use these medicines during ceremony.
Jewelry prices are increase then, they say half price. There to high on Jewelries. So much for sales.
I have shopped here plenty of times before my last encounter. I simply went into the store because I had called the day before about a Navajo dictionary. Unfortunately only one out of the two books I purchased was what I needed. Not to mention I found out that the same book they were selling in the store cost me $15 and I could have bought it somewhere else for only $5. So I decided I wanted a refund, I walked into the store the following day and kindly asked the lady at the front register if I could get a refund but without greeting me or asking questions, she decided to set a little paper down in front of me that said return policy, and then proceeded to tell me to talk to the manager, and pointed towards the back and walked off. The manager I talked with, his name is Darrel and right away said NO! theres no returns and all sales are final. He was the person that cashed me out the day before and not once mentioned a NO return policy. He also tried giving me the same piece of paper the lady at the front register tried to give me. So of course we argued and then he asked if I wanted to speak with his DM and I said yes. He went to the back, came back out and said have a seat shell be with you. I asked how long she would be and he rudely said shes on a phone call right now. shell get to you when shes finished. It wasnt until then I told him how rude he and his associate were and he then said we are not rude here, with attitude in his voice. I explained to him as a manager he should have pointed out the no return policy upon check out to reassure his customers so that this wouldnt happen. He then said, there are signs all over the store. This is a trading post with jewelry, rugs, dishes, books, etc. why would I want to walk around the store reading signs? In the end, Darrel issued my refund, but in the middle of the transaction, he said, I am only doing this because I know who your parents are. So is that how this business operates? You have to know someone on the inside to get things done? WOW! what ever happened to good old fashion customer service?
Just keep on driving there are no prices
Update ur hours!. People make long trips for nothing idiots!.
Love this place. 😁❤️
Very unprofessional. Rude. Bad customer services.
Great prices, nice people, and beautiful jewelry!!!
Helpful and understanding workers. Loved it
Good place to visit if your looking for Native American arts n crafts.
Can speak both Navajo and English
Great Staff.Quick Service Usually.Great selection
This place has changed from 5 years ago. It is a high end gallery. The meat market is gone. The tee shirts are gone. The employees were well dressed and well groomed and friendly and polite. But I didnt make a purchase. Five years ago I purchased a lot of things. The older i get the less I like change.
Great place. Great items
While this store wasnt as close to the interstate as we like, it was well worth the extra few minutes it took to get there. Walking in the door, we found a wonderful place to shop for Native American crafts, gifts, souvenirs, etc. Walking through the store is a long process, because each shelf and display case contained items of interest, beauty, and craftsmanship. There is so much to see that we could have easily spent hours there.
The atmosphere provides the old trading post effect. I was actually fortunate enough to run I to Ellis Tanner himself. He was walking around in his trading post. Majority of jewelry items were on sale. Along with rugs and other traditional items. Paintings too, they were nice. Liked a painting by Dennis Arviso.
Small saddle over priced, 600+. Thought everything was over priced.
Dicent and decoratively native pride
Not as good as it use to be...before this pandemic business was flowing nw everywhere is slow...
He needs b and can send them more convenient date and expiration dates
Tried to work over the phone with the woman over in the NAC merchandise going on 3 weeks. She just giving me the run around. She then referred me to go downtown and not buy there.. Very Disappointed.
Atmosphere was stuffy in here. Mark ups on jewelry are insane. If you want jewelry, go to Perry Null instead, at least they will work you on prices.
Beautiful authentic Native American items.
I was traveling across country to see a family member who had been in a terrible accident. I pulled into the trading post looked around at the beautiful shop. Explain my situation told him I was tired. And asked if I could sleep in their parking lot... they not only gave me a place to sleep but something to eat and sent me on my way to Minnesota I will stop here for evermore and they have a beautiful awesome store.. Run by beautiful awesome people
There r not enough staff on the floors accommodate customers.
Took a check to cash but the ladies were very rude and told me no. I left, went to Perry Null where the staff were happy to assist me. Ellis Tanner needs much more pleasant women to work in his place.
I enjoyed shopping there today. I found my Pendleton bag.
Visiting from Denver, stopped in to get some stuff, had a Sale going on, good prices.
A good place to do Native American jewelry shopping. Friendly staff. Wish it had a deli.

Good selection of native music and whole lots of gifts idea for holiday, graduation ideas.
This is an awesome place to go if you love Native American art.
Not really helpful with customer service. But alot of good stuff to buy there.
Had to wait awhile to buy over priced mountain smoke and today around 6:30 PM and was denied because I had a 100 bill. Only came here because flea market and pinos are closed. Lady was kind of rude.
Best place to go shop and look around at jewelry.
Good customer service
Beautiful selections that are way over priced even at 50% off! Very courteous staff
Dont like the way customers sign inside the store a lot of run around for filing tax
