Love, love, love this place. It smells so good. They have a little bit of everything. I loved the sterling silver jewelry, the books, the incredible amount of incense, the decor, literally every thing. ❤ The store itself is a piece of history. The owners decorate beautifully, and keep the shop perfect. If you are in Galveston, stop by just for the great vibe and the beautiful smells. You may find exactly what you have been looking for. Definitely an awesome place to visit if your into the mystic and supernatural or just like looking at really cool things. They have a little of everything for people that enjoy crystals, tarot cards, incense, and books about the super natural stuff. People with closed minds need not apply here! They have some amazing sculptures and other home decor.

I adore the owner’s zero tolerance policy on in-store behavior with a focus on non-discrimination regardless of age. Whether you’re 1 and your parents can’t handle you when you disrupt people getting readings or you’re 47 and try to hop in the fountain, the owners simply won’t tolerate you ruining the experience of visiting their amazing store for other patrons. Beautiful jewelry, books, knowledgeable people, one of a kind items combined with well known brands. Love it!

I love this place. Ive been coming here for years and make special trips in to town now to be able to visit them.Funny how the only negative comments are all from 2 days ago.🤔Clyde and Kim are such calming personalities and really know how to keep a customer happy and will help you find whatever it might be youre looking for. Any time I need crystals, I come to them.

Stopped by to browse when we were in the area and intrigued by this place. Interesting items and the layout is well-organized. There is a little witching well for throwing a coin and making a wish, too. Interesting place.

Very cool stuff with a beautiful interior. Staff was friendly, I cant wait to come back and get some more cool statues and things. Also, the prices are pretty good for such intricate and detailed art.

I love this place. I have to be careful how long I stay or I spend too much money cause they have loads of cool stuff and books. The owners are cool and willing to help you out with what you need. They carry a good collection of Madame Talbots Posters which I have framed at my house. Highly Suggest for Metaphysical needs.

We just love looking around and finding new stuff for our house. We collect skulls and they have a cool collection.This time we also got hear, see, say no evil gargoyles that are awesome. My daughter loves it too and always finds something for her own cool collection of cute skull animals. Hoping to get a reading next time we go.

Educational and vivid energy.Theres a wide collection of books well organized by interest, stones, statues, incense, smudging materials, ingredients. Theres a section in the back where you can meet with someone and the closer you get the more you can feel the vivid energy.

Extremely amazing place! Ive never felt so much energy from stones before so I definitely trust all their stones. They also have an amazing selection of books. I couldve just brought nearly every book! They also have really cool tarot cards. Sometimes they even have psychics come in. I know they do palm readings but I dont know what else. They are also very descriptive of all the stones. Ill show an example with a picture

Don’t say children are welcome accompanied by an adult if you’re gonna ask them to leave… my 1 year old all he was doing was saying hi to everyone and I was asked to go to the front of the store because he was too loud… also, no reason to be rude to your customers. Do better.

Beautiful, peaceful, healing shop owned by wonderful citizens who give back to the Galveston community at every turn. They were there for us after Hurricane Ike, donate regularly to the animal shelter and are always happy to help anybody with any questions that come into their store.I have lauded The Witchery for over a decade now, but now theres a ridiculous one-star review to offset: yes, this is a shop filled with delicate glass items and they play peaceful, meditative music for their guests as they peruse. There are also people in the back giving tarot readings. Meaning: if you have a loud and talkative toddler, as they tend to be, you will kindly be asked for your assistance in managing their volume. Ive been to this shop many, many times and never seen the owners be rude to anyone nor have I ever seen anyone so self-involved that they havent picked up on the inside-voices vibe of this shop.I can personally attest that Clyde and Kim are kid-friendly and reasonable, generous people. They should not be criticized for asking for a sense of decorum in an establishment that isnt a Chuck-E-Cheese.

Very clean, a bit pricey, but its money well spent. Everyone goes to Galveston to spent a bit of money🤣 Good vibes from the staff at the desk, theyll even tell you where a good food place is.

Absolutely disgusting terrible attitude the owner has. If he thinks that’s a way to speak to people, he won’t get many customers coming back and his business won’t last long

I honestly did not know what to expect, and the photos do not do the place justice. They have everything organized. The prices of crystals were a bit pricey but then again everything in galveston is. Crystals ranged from $2-$9 which isnt bad but they are a bit small. The people who work there are very kind and offer to hold items for you if there is a line when checking out. Overall I loved my experience.

Decently priced for stones. They dont have a large selection though, ended up getting most of what I needed at a store in Houston. Too many people in this place and so many without masks (before the CDC gave info about not needing masks for vaccinated people). No one was enforcing the mask wearing rules either. Customer service was okay.

I ADORE this shop! Everywhere you turn there are more treasures to hold and explore. Its a real treat. I got an alternative cloth, and wanted to get much more. Next time! They had some obscure tarot decks as well. Beautiful leather bound journals. Incenses. Oils. The place smells HEAVENLY upon entry. I will for sure be back every time I visit the island from now on!!!! Thank you!!!!

I came here 8 years ago and thought this placeWas cool. I came back here today with my family.I have 4 kids, two of which are very small. We wereIn the store for 30 minutes, during that time each childEither had their hands behind their back or they wereHolding our hands. They did not pick things up or touch things. They did talk a lot and were excited. They walked into a small tarot areA in the back that was not occupied or closed and walked right back out. As we were checking out my husband asked for a deck that we intended to get for our son and he handed it to our son. The owner told my husband to get a handle on our kids. And when we asked what the problem was, he said it was because he had the deck we handed him, we explained that we handed it to him and he said ok well you need to control your kids I saw them go in the tarot room on the camera. And kept saying things like that. I spent $200 bucks in there that I can’t get refunded and truly wish to have nothing to do with the things I bought there. He was rude, uncouth and left us feeling ugly about the whole experience. I am really proud of how well my kids restrained themselves when they wanted to touch everything and didn’t. This is not a family friendly store, even if your kids are well behaved. As much as it pains me to say, your better off shopping on Amazon.

If youre into stones, this place a great place to visit. My friend who like stones brought me here and it was an interesting place. The employees were nice and they also shared their knowledge about the stones I want familiar about.

We my mom and I love Aldi!!! its a perfect size and a very good price on everything. I Know at The big Grocery store I would have spent 2 x the money and got half of the product.... And the convenience is a fabulous place.

I understand than children can be disruptive and I get how annoying that can be, especially when the child is not yours. But don’t allow children in this shop if you’re going to ask the parent to leave when their 1y/o wants to tell everyone they see hello.

Used to go here all the time, since a kid even. The staff seems to have gotten really rude. My daughter was a little loud and I addressed her accordingly, but overheard one of the ladies making a comment about how its not quiet anymore. That was the last time my friends and I have been there. Not to mention all the negatives vibes I feel going there now and multiple people have said how the staff is extremely rude now. Ive been taking my business to another witch store near by who isnt rude to their customers.

Me and my husband go here a lot and I want a psychic reading the young lady on the phone told me to it will be at hour so 2:00 at 1:45 she called me and it will be a hour because the lady book two more sessions that’s not right and you don’t do that to people who had a appointment at a pacific time.

The shop is a little pricey and crowded. I was looking at a small decorative bowl with a lid. The bowl part was made of something that looked like brass while the lid was made with a plastic rim. I know this because I dropped it and it cracked. I then got to pay $40 for the bowl and got a very stern, nasty look from the associate.

Gotta love the Witchery!! I’ve bought a lot of goods here, but I’ve experienced and heard some bad experiences with purchased items after they make it into the customers possession. Just be ready to cleanse things for yourself, too. They have a huge selection, respectable prices, lots of books, and occasionally some paranormal activity

What can I say... Its exactly what it says. Every sect that you can think of, they have books on everything. They have the best candles the best incense made. They even give readings in the back room, taroh readings. So much fun in one place. I want to go back

Honestly, I love love love this place and come for a reading. My reading always seems to be on time with life and circumstances. Everyone in the store is always friendly, knowledgeable, and open. Especially, if one doesnt always look like someone whod come into the shop.Myth husband and I were told to get something for pain relief and he no longer struggles with that pain.

This place is mesmerizing. They have a huge selection of oils that are top notch. Their stones are very affordable for their sizes. The book selection will have you browsing the isles for hours, looking through books you never imagined existed. Their jewelry selection is made of gorgeous stones and quality metal that will made it way to easy to buy more than I needed. They do also have a room that they offer readings in if you call ahead. This place is on post office rd, so it is a little off where most of the tourists are, but definitely work the walk.
