Great corner store in Galveston. Highly recommend the Waltburgers. Also they have great Boudin. The place is always clean and they have good service. Highly recommend.

Hands down the best little hidden gem on the island! Absolutely delicious fresh meats and cheese but other food items as well! Oh and excellent staff and customer service! They have quite the history with the island as well! Love how you feel like you step back in time once you walk inside!

They are so nice, they help you with what ever you need. they remember everyones faces. They make it feel like home there lol.

A+++++ Great steaks!! Been to this place once on a recommendation. Purchased 4 filet mignons. The butcher vacuumed packed them for me which was nice. They never do that other places I’ve been. I’ve had 2 so far and they were great. And at a cheap price too. Normally I go to Costco for filets, but no longer.

Very nice place in town. Always convenient. Meat is always fresh. Good for that quick get together at the beach!

Me and my girl had a hunger for some nice thick..now when I say thick..understand something. .we are talking Texas Thick,lol..Steaks.Found this Butcher Shop on Google and since we never been here decided why not check it out.Best idea ever!The guy who ran the butcher part asked what we were looking for and we told him some.steaks but nice and thick cuts..now he had some out for display and they were thick..Im talking Jurassic Park cuts..he went back and cut me two sirloin steaks over 2 inches thick each..our mouths drooled and on top of that he was cool enough to share his marinade secrets with us on how to prepare them and the best way to cook them which we eat ours Medium Rare with the middle pink and blood still hot and so juicy it will make you wanna smack yo momma lol.We will now be loyal customers.

The Rib-Eye steaks we bought are up there with the best i have ever eaten. Excellent!!the store itself has one of everything, and quite entertaining. From Underwear, to Made in Galveston Spices, to Blue Bell Ice Cream!! They have it all.

Walt and staff are great!! Ask for the Walt burgers and ENJOY!! Excellent! The only thing is Walt quit making sausage sandwiches, BAD DECISION. Almost started a protest complete with picketing! Still thinking about it.

Just went and picked up 5 t-bones cut 1-1/2 think for Thanksgiving and they look amazing. This will be my go to for now on.
