EXCELLENT experience with Brian Barnes at Classic Toyota in Galveston. I bought my ranch vehicles from Brian, when he was at another dealership, many years back. His service was outstanding during my recent purchase in Galveston. We did the entire transaction via phone and email. Brian made it easy. LOVE...LOVE...LOVE my Sequoia. Brought the vehicle in for its first service. It was an exceptionally easy process and the first time I had gone into the dealership. I am VERY impressed...They were organized...The service area and show room was minimal, no clutter at all. The entire place was pristine clean. I HIGHLY recommend Brian Barnes and Classic Toyota in Galveston. My entire experience there was exceptionally easy. Side note: Even if you are not in Galveston, Brian can easily handle your purchase wherever you might be located in the U.S.

On my third hour in the waiting area for a scheduled oil change. This had been our go-to dealership. We have purchased four or five vehicles here and have sent countless friends and family here for new vehicles but there will not be a next. The service is not even close to what it was. It has slowly gotten worse and worse. After not seeing any action in the service area for some time and my car not moving up in line, I finally went to the service desk to ask about it. He informed me that only one person is working service and that theyre recommending people drop their car off. Of course, this was after Ive been sitting in the waiting room for 3 hours.

Worst service! They will give you appointments for service but once you get there they tell you to wait for 3 hours so the “appointment” is pretty much pointless.

I wanted a specific model and combination of options. Sabrina Walker searched for over two weeks to find what turned out to be the only one in a five state area. Most salespeople would lose interest however; that dedication led to me having the vehicle I wanted and a successful sale for Classic Toyota of Galveston.Highly recommended!

Made a scheduled appointment a week in advance to have a simple service completed on my truck. Showed up on time and nobody was in service area. Waited about 15 minutes and still nobody. Sales staff could clearly see me, but nobody was called. Finally, after another customer went in and asked for help (something I should have done) a service tech came out. He had a nice demeanor and checked me in, told me it would be 45 minutes. Since I was the only customer there (the other customer left) I didnt think it would be a problem. I came back about an hour later and the truck was still being worked on. It was almost another hour before they finished the simple service. I left and then after driving about 200 miles my maintenance required light came on. We are on the road full time right now and have maintenance stops scheduled. Now I will have to drive a few hundred miles out of the way to confirm appropriate maintenance was completed as I cant be 100% sure. Im surely not going to backtrack to this center. This was the 5th Toyota Service center we have visited in the last year around the country and by far the lowest level of service. Definitely not the Toyota Way.

I brought my Toyota tundra in for a basic oil change and this cute skinny boy Chris came right up to me asking what I needed and helping me out on what I need. Also showing me any warranty fixes I needed for my tundra. Got to schedule for some. Josh was the mechanic who helped and changed my oil what a handy man. Highly recommended coming and seeing Chris the cute one

Great customer service... Until they receive the money then all of the nice attitudes disappear and youre left to figure out all the details. They screwed me on a tacoma. Messed up the title and took forever to get it figured out. I specifically asked about features (locking differential) they told me the features all worked. When I got home after a 1800 mile trip the diff along with some other features wouldnt even engage. I contacted them and explained what had happened but no one would work with me or ever return my calls. Manager is very demeaning. Dishonest, money hungry and unprofessional team here at Classic Toyota Galveston. Not impressed.

I was in contact with four Houston Toyota dealers and after numerous emails and phone calls I chose this specific Toyota dealership due to their level of professionalism and willingness to make a fair and competitive offer for a new 2016 4runner. So I got sold a 2014 GMC Sierra with 75,000 miles on it back in March 2020. For the first couple months it was great and fully operational. Now the issue I have now is that here we are present, October 30th 2020 and the truck has been in the mechanic shop for a week now. Customer service is okay but nothing from them of putting forth effort into finding out something for you. Responses from anyone will take up to a couple days, nothing is immediate as far as results go. If I would have know about the ins and outs of the truck I would have not got the truck here at this location, I would have gone to a different dealership not classic. Overall I’m not satisfied with the overall issues of my purchased vehicle. Never buying a vehicle from y’all again.

Excellent, upfront, easy to understand service. They make you feel welcome and relax while you have any work done on your Toyota with reasonable prices comparable to local shops. They will give you a ride around the island while repair work is done so your not stuck wasting time while they work. Over all pleasant experience all three times I have visited for work on my vehicle.

Service performed is actually pretty good. The service department simply does not answer its phone and there is not an option to leave a message. Asking the operator to leave a message gets instructions to try to call back later. I have no choice but to take my business elsewhere.

Terry Newell took advantage of my grown son once he figured out that it would be easy to do. My son didn’t have the credit to buy the car. I had just spoke to my son on the phone and told him to leave the dealership and don’t let them talk him into signing anything. Terry took advantage of a person with disabilities and signed him with a loan shark not even a bank!!! Banks let you pay your car note early, this loan shark only lets you pay on the exact day it’s due! Now, I’m having to pay off a loan with more than 14 percent interest and I’m retired! This should be illegal to take advantage of a person with disabilities!!!! Shame on you Terry Newell and Shame on this dealership!!!!! We are all in a bad way due to COVID19 and I hope karma turns you into a better person!

The reason I gave 3 stars. The service was great, they replaced the part and communication was great, 5 stars on that part.When I received my car back after the service man just drove my car up, there was bird poop on the inside of my driver side car door and a substance of tar and Velvet on my car window, I had to clean this off after spending over $800 with them, 1 star on that part.Please step up your game, the card should look better than when I took it in, at least the same!!!

Fast Friendly Service, only took 30 minutes to get an oil change on my 2017 Rav4. They even washed the car. Areas that need work: They told me there was coffee and drinks in the waiting area, drink vending machine was out of order and the coffee was cold. There was no remote for the TV and I had to listen to Jeopardy for 30 minutes until my car was done. I even tried to download a remote app to love the volume, but they had the TV locked. No one talked to me. My lease is up in a few months and my son is looking for a used Certified Rav4. Just something to think about, I think I was the only customer in the store.

Had an excellent experience at Classic Toyota when we recently purchased our 2018 4Runner Trd Pro. Eric Munoz was our salesperson, he was professional, polite and made the experience the best we have had when buying a new vehicle. All the staff from the Sales Manager to the Finance department at Classic were friendly and easy to work with through the whole process. Top notch to say the least. If your looking for a new Toyota, I would strongly suggest going to Classic Toyota.

Service prices are higher than other dealers. For example a standard diagnostic is $98.00 classic quoted me $135.00. Plus they sound very hurried on the phone as if you are wasting their time.

This place is not worth your time and money. NTB up the street provides much better customer service for the same price. While the service department’s mechanical work has never been an issue, their customer service is lacking. There have been several times where I have gone in for a basic service (ex: oil change) that took 2-3 hours longer than they quoted. One time, they ordered the wrong part for a service I needed which delayed me getting my car back by 2 days. The customer service tech was rude about the issue (tried to blame me for the mistake) and I had to elevate it to the manager. Most recently, they had a computer system outage in their new building due to weather. While this is understandable, they still had full power so they could have performed my oil change, tire rotation, and accepted cash payment. The customer service techs onsite were apathetic about turning me away and not being able to call in advance. I have tried to support this local business however don’t think they are trying to offer the right level of service to earn my support.Avoid the hassles I have had…either go to NTB if you must have service on the island or a Toyota dealership on the mainland if you want your car serviced by Toyota.

The purchase process was friendly, courteous, and painless. Ive purchased Toyotas from larger dealerships before, and the process was much more aggressive and painful. No high pressure sales tactics at Classic Toyota Galveston. These folks really know how to treat their customers! The worst service ever. They promised to make an inspection on my car in two hours, $200. They took everything out, checked, and told me it will cost me $1800 more to fix and replace some parts. I did not agree with them to replace the parts so I told them that I will drive my car to other service provider. They became unhappy and said I have to pay $100 more for them to put seats back. I could not believe what I heard and I was totally pissed off. Shouldnt they just return me the car as it is after the so-called inspection service? I again told them not to do anything. I would save this $100 since another provider may have to open it and check my car too. Seriously, if you go to a doctor for chest pain, the doctor provided you a $200 inspection service, after two hours, he opened your chest, checked, said you need to pay $1800 more, or $100 to close your chest, what will you think?

After being beaten down by liars and incompetentents I bought my 2018 Tacoma base model access cab in red at Classic Auto sales and was quite pleased. Gullo Conroe-Fail Plano Toyota-Fail Longo East Fail Longo West, awesome and best price but logistically too difficult. After being lied to by Plano who told me the only truck like that is in Galveston but “there has been a massive flood and all their vehicles are stuck” I decided to only to find this was BS and they had the truck. I spoke to Sean Dunlap who got the deal rolling, we back and fourthed a little on the price until we were both happy, he lined me up with finance who helped me find an excellent rate then did the whole deal over the phone. I got a very good price, not rock bottom but very good and I got the exact truck I wanted. Brian Barnes the manager called a couple of times to make sure everything was going smooth, great job. At the end of the day, they met me half way between Galveston and my house in Willis and delivered the truck. Follow up has been excellent, informative but not annoying. I’m totally satisfied. Toyota builds a great vehicle but their sales teams really suck, bullsh!tters and liars abound. Classic was an exception and I would highly recommend them.
