DON’T GO HERE… This place is awful. Smells horrible and neither worker greeted me or even said hi. I wanted a water and only had a credit card. Instead of informing me that they have a minimum for credit card purchases of $5 the dude behind the counter simply adds .25 to my total. I think this place needs to realize we are in 2021 and cash is dirty and to add .25 to anyones bill without telling them is stealing and id never treat anyone this way - wake up and realize you’re hurting your business more than helping it and if I were chevron, I’d make sure I had nothing to do with this place.

BEWARE! The owner of Chevron, at 3902 Broadway Street in Galveston, TX and his side-kick clerk, Azzam, ripped me off at the pump. When confronted, both will treat you like you are trash and do everything to not be accountable.I just returned from Galveston TX after staying there 11 days with our church. Approx. 500 members were in Galveston. Our days were scheduled full with events; tourism and charity work in your beautiful island city.Chevron advertised (on 9/23) reg. fuel @ $2.41per gallon if paid via cash. I withdrew cash at ATM inside their store, handed it to Azzam, and said I wanted $25 reg. fuel on pump #2. The final cost didn’t look discounted, so I took a picture of the pump and got a receipt before I left. Later, I did the math and sure enough, he over-charged me.Thinking it is an honest error on Azzam’s part since he knows cash paying customers buying regular fuel are to be discounted, I returned later to correct him.I couldn’t find my receipt, but aware they have a copy of the transaction and video of purchase at the counter and pump. Azzam refused to acknowledge his error. I showed him the picture of his pump #2 and did the math for him: $2.41 (cash payment) × 8.146 (gallons on pump display) = 19.63186 (total cost of fuel price).Azzam tried to say I bought diesel which was stupid because my truck is not diesel. My son as a witness, corrected him. He then says I was not there and at another store. I told him to pull the video and I’ll pull my bank statement for ATM. He refused. Azzam then asserted it was impossible for him to make a mistake.I’m told to return and talk to the owner. He turns out worse than Azzam! I introduce myself and explain. I respectfully address him as “Sir.” But he starts-in on me, my beliefs/religion, calling me by, “Mr. Church Man.”The owner refused to pull video, look at his copy of my purchase and then blames Chevron’s gas pump for making the error. He also tells me he doesn’t keep track of the gas prices and doesn’t remember $2.41 on the 9/23.I finally gave up trying to reason with them. They were unbelievable. I shudder to think that more customers have been treated this way and their money taken.Good citizens, keep all of your receipts from this place. Do your math. Take pictures. I’ve never seen anything like these two guys since Laurel and Hardy. Galveston TX - this place is another hurricane in your city.

They are fast, clean and very friendly.
