I had the pleasure of working with Inessa from the perfume section at Roosevelt Field mall. I had to pop in to get a quick gift for my wife. She was beyond friendly and very helpful. Was able to pick out the perfect scent, after just a few questions. If you are not sure what to get, I highly recommend working with her. Thank you!
I had a free class for contouring today and my teacher Nicole was absolutely wonderful! She was extremely patient, gave a lot of compliments and walked us through everything while making sure we were all on the same page! She did not leave anyone behind! I absolutely loved it!
This review is for the big Sephora inside Roosevelt flied mall, not the one in JCPenney. I went to purchase some Christmas presents. One girl in the whole store was friendly, and helpful. I asked a black girl with a brown and blonde long wig a question. She answered very rudely and turned her back. I went to the perfume section where their was a white girl with clown makeup, and a gay black guy that sat on the ledge blocking the perfumes. They did not say anything to me, when I asked for a few perfumes I was going to buy along with a sample of another. The girl with the clown make reluctantly helped me, and did so with an attitude.I then go to the counter to pay for my purchase and a Spanish girl wearing two big weave ponytails rings me up with an attitude. The workers in this location are so incompetent. The only thing they know how to do it’s cake on clown makeup. I will never purchase from this store again. Such bad attitudes by all the employees but one girl.
Melody is extremely pleasant and and has a great disposition! She showed me some of her favorite products and got me interested in them.
This is for the sephora inside the mall. Staff are very rude. I took a class here and the girl kept rolling her eyes when she explained things, also did not seem like she wanted to be there at all and rushed the class to the point of me walking out of there with raccoon eyes... Called them on the phone too, they were definitely not pleasant either. Plus I saw some tension between staff interactions which is always a bad sign.
Had a great experience in this store yesterday. Ive suffered recently with my skin and wanted to try a new foundation thats not gonna cause my skin to flare up. Thankfully AJ was on hand to talk me through a load of products, I was impressed with his knowledge on the different types and brands of foundation, and he sent me away with a few samples to try. Even though the store was very busy he didnt make me feel like I was being a nuisance or awkward for just taking samples and not buying the foundations! I will definitely be back to this store!
This review is for the big Sephora in Roosevelt Field Mall, not the one inside JCPenney. If I could give the store zero stars, I would. Sephora is one of my favorite stores to shop in. Ive never experienced anything like this before. I went to the store to return some products I purchased a few weeks ago. The cashiers were very uneducated about the return policy. They also looked very annoyed because I was returning something. I asked for store credit but the manager refused to give it to me. I showed her the back of the receipt where it stated the return policy but still refused to let me return the products with a nasty attitude so I left the store and called the Sephora where I originally purchased the products from and they told me that I definitely can return my products at any Sephora location for store credit. Ive read many bad reviews for this location and I am very surprised the manager was not fired for being racist and rude to customers and Sephora didnt do anything about it. Definitely will not go back EVER.
There was a nice girl that worked there, forgot her name but she was pleasant, however she gave me the wrong makeup shade. The rest of the staff are just terrible! Do not go to the Sephora inside the jcp!
Terrible customer service! I asked a group of employees that were huddled together if one could help me with lipstick, and this rude lady said im going on break so it needs to be quick, so lets go! I responded to her that clearly she needs a break and not to worry about it. The supervisor then helped which was ok. Not very knowledgeable. This whole staff needs a turnaround!! Every time I go in theres an attitude from employees. I think this will be my last time visiting for a while. Sad!!
Both Brian and Jyotika made my experience quick and easy! I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. And coming from someone who literally finds time a peeve, thats amazing. They were great.
Went there last night 12/10/18 at night to the sephora inside Jcpennys, 2 girls working . One of them curly afro hair saw me waiting on line literally took her 15 mins to ring me up . Gave me a nasty attitude for no reason, very rude . I was only there for a return . If you don’t want to work then you shouldn’t ! never going back here . Literally the only girl who works there thats nice is Paris . Other than that all the staff is horrible .
I would give this location zero stars if I could; the manager named Amarilis was a condosending racist b*tch. I had proper ID to go with the credit card I was using and even called Sephora representatives, two different reps said that she should accept my payment and allow me to purchase the merchandise I wanted. She also had me waiting for about 15-20 minutes before coming out of the backroom to speak face to face with me. Basically I filed a complaint about her and asked them to have her fired for her disgusting attitude towards customers. I really hope you get to see this Amarilis because they are sending me those items I wanted free of charge along with freebies and apologies up and down for your “extremely unprofessional and rude behavior” (those were their words even). If you are unable to treat the customers at Sephora with kindness and respect then you are in th wrong line of work. God help you and I hope you get an attitude adjustment.
THIS IS FOR THE SEPHORA STORE, NOT THE ONE INSIDE JCPIve had nothing but issues at this store. Items or stores incorrectly, there are no testers, no one on the floor to help. I placed and order in store as a birthday gift and two different in store associates sa said it was guaranteed 3 day shipping. On the second day I didnt even have an order # to ship. So I called customer service and they agreed that roosevelt field lied make a sale. I am no longer a sephora customer.
THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE MAIN SEPHORA STORE NOT THE ONE IN JC PENNY.I wish I could give this store a -0 star rating. Sales associates in this store are extremely rude. Two months ago I had bought some cosmetics online through PayPal and wanted to return some of the things from it. I went to this store and encountered a very nasty cashier. She kept telling me that she can ONLY return my money on a gift card and there is no other way this return can be made. The same day i spoke to a representative online and she told me that i CAN return it in the store if i have purchased through PayPal online and I will get money back on the account that is linked to Paypal.A month later I went to the store at Walt Whitman mall in Huntington NY. Cashier at that store easily took the return and put money back on the card that was linked to my PayPal account. Today I went to Roosevelt Field Sephora again to exchange somethings. Cashier again was extremely rude and told me that she will give me a gift card instead of making return on my card linked to PayPal. I was told that Sephora Roosevelt Field CANT speak for Sephora at Walt Whitman. Cmon now...Both stores are in the same State and on LONG ISLAND. These people didnt even bother calling the other store to find out if i was giving them the right information or not. How is the return policy completely different from each other?? Even through the associate online i was told that i can return things in the store if i have bought them online. Associates in Roosevelt field are not knowledgeable of their own policies and HATE helping customers. Not going back to this store EVER again.
Sephora is,one of my favorite stores in the whole world. Went to this srore. It is small, and they dont carry a lot of inventory. The sales girs were very brief. If this was my first time in a Sephora, it would be my last.
Horrible, poor customer service. These girls need formal training in everything and especially professionalism. Do not judge a book by its cover. Yes, Im indian, so what I make more than the entire team combined in a year... so theres that... they think only certain race has money... boy are you wrong!Just went to Ulta and dropped $400 cuz i was mad at Sephora. Ulta staff are so better with customers and everything PERIOD!
The big Sephora store is awful. Yes there are a few employees that are great but there are a few that ruin it. I was looking at a glow kit and there was one sitting on the side so I opened it and it had already been swatched so I swatched it an employee comes over to me and treats me like a 5 year old and says honey you cant just swatch whatever you want. She rolled her eyes and was very obviously talking about me to the other ladies behind the counter. Lol I didnt end up buying the glow kit🤗
The absolute worst customer service. I went into this store to buy a new concealer & foundation & maybe shop around and buy random things like I always do, the manager (not sure her name) heavy set colored lady with the blonde weave and the pig nose ring was so rude to me and I could hear her talking about me to employees on the walkie making fun of what I was wearing. Like excuse me my outfit cost more than your car I shop at Nordstrom. I wouldve spent more money in the store than she even has in her bank account that day. I have done nothing to her at all, EVERY SINGLE TIME I go there and she is there she always gives me attitude I am so sick of it. This Sephora was close by to my house, but now I rather travel 5 hours than go to that store ever again. Im pretty sure she is racist.
