Custom Truck came up on google as one of the #1 places to buy a truck topper in Boise. There are two really disappointing things to point out. 1) I couldnt believe that Custom Truck allowed my new LEER truck topper to even set foot on their lot. The quality control check from LEER didnt even exist, the carpet in the shell is bubbled at multiple spots (look at the pictures). The screen mesh was torn and some of the rub seals along the windows are 100% gonna peel off in the next couple years. Custom Truck only cares about how many shells they can sell in a year. They even told me that they get awards at the end of the year of who sold the most. If you ask me thats not what its all about, its about sending your customers home happy especially when they drop $2200 on a new camper shell.2) We all pay an installation fee, it took them about 20 mins to get the shell on my truck and then they just handed me back the keys. They didnt vacuum out the plastic or metal debris in the bed of my truck. Are you serious? I traveled all the way from Twin Falls to get this bed put on my truck to see these major issues. I didnt have time to tell them to send the camper back! I had already waited 12 weeks to get it (due to covid-19) plus it was raining the day it was installed so they just installed it as fast as they could to get everyone out of the rain.Custom Truck needs to be contacting LEER and telling them they need to get their quality control checked!Ive tried everything to contact LEER directly to tell them just how disappointed I am to have gotten this poor craftsmanship piece put on my truck. They refuse to contact me and wont return my emails (and Ive left 3) they dont have a direct phone number and now I can see why! If I would have known about this I probably would have gotten a Snugtop or ARE instead.The color of the shell was spot on but everything inside just shouldnt have passed quality control. Also make sure you go into Custom Truck with patience cause some of the employees are rude while others are extremely helpful. Its overall a hit or miss experience.

Had to have a fifthwheel hitch put in our truck bed and a tonneau cover put on. These guys were awesome. Very fair pricing and got us in quickly. We would and will use them for any needs in the future. Oh and I said I had a problem and they said yes, we can help you. No one else wanted to.

Great Service! I had a new top that was installed by another dealer with a few issues. Despite the fact that custom truck was not the installer, they quickly fix all issues under warrantee on the spot. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Today I got a shell installed on my 2020 F350. Custom Truck had it installed in less than 1 1/2 hours. Looks great and a great price.

Very helpful employees. Spent a good amount of time explaining the options and the costs. The shell I ended up buying was good quality, less expensive than other shops and the install was done really quickly.

Im writing this as the shop guys are working on my truck. I came here to get a new bumper for my truck. It has less than 25k miles. They sold me on a bumper they like to sell and it was a good looking one to boot. After putting my 1k deposit down, they called back later in the day to say it wont fit on my truck. I go back down and select a new one. They order it and when it arrives, I drop off my truck.At the end of the day, they call back to say the company sent the wrong part, theyll re-order it and re install it down the road. But, I notice my trucks bumper is crooked. Not by a little bit, but like more than 5 inches. A blind squirrel would have noticed. Also, my block heater connector was hanging down by the ground instead of being connected to the bumper.So, here I am sitting in the lot watching them try and fix it. Theyve tried to say they put it back on right, but theres a 4 gap where it is obvious it is hanging too low. The mechanic said its Rams fault.Just turn around and walk out. Dont buy here. I hate writing bad reviews. Ive only really written one. But come on, you messed up the order twice and you couldnt put things back the way they were. How do I trust that youll put the after market parts on right?

Called and got a quote for a new topper “seal” as that was the place I originally bought my topper. Was quoted $15 for seal and $49 for labor. Drove 59 miles to get there. When I got there I was then told $15 was for “foam tape.” Labor was also requoted as $89. When I questioned the owner he said the employee who provided me the quote was new. She even verified the quote I was provided.He would not honor the original quote. I even asked if he would meet me half-way on the labor...nope. Had my time not been limited and had I not drive so far to get there I would have turned around and left. Anyone can make a mistake, but the owner showed his true character to me. I will NEVER do business there again and will NOT recommend this business to anyone.

Ordered an ARE shell from them. Went in the shop looked over shell options, they are very helpful. 4 weeks later had it delivered to them from the factory and they installed it. After installation they walked me through the shell with me to make sure everything was good and to answer any questions. Very helpful, nice, and professional.

Came in off the streets on a Saturday morning. Not only was I able to buy the rack system for my truck and have it installed. I was actually able to look at many different options that they had in there showroom. It was finally great to actually have someone listen to what I was trying to achieve. The only problem I faced was myself in trying to make up my mind on what I wanted. Theses guy`s were more than patient with me and helped me all 4 times I changed my mind. They were not pushy salesmen, they sat back and let me wrestle over my final decision. When I made up my mind and went with a bed rail system, they installed it first, asking me my thoughts on exactly where and how I wanted it mounted. Not to mention when I pulled up and told them I was having problems with a BRAND NEW roof rack system just installed 2 days prior by another place was leaking and sounded like all 4 windows were down when driving took the time to locate the problem and FIX IT! This was before I spent $1.00. This place and these guy`s are LEGIT!! I would strongly suggest going by and checking it out if your trying to customize your truck. This is only the 2nd review I have ever written on Google this place was that good. Thanks to the staff for such an awesome experience.

Great products, but need to work on doing a better job with customer service as a whole.I ordered a nice leer topper on February 17, 2018 and was told the topper should arrive in 3-4 weeks. Yesterday on March 27th, I called on the status of my topper and was told that my paperwork was in the need to call basket and found out that it had been in there for over a week. I scheduled the next day to have my topper installed and took 1 1-2 hrs to install.When the installation was completed and I went back to get my truck didn’t get the sense of urgency of going over my topper and doing a walk through with me.I had to suggest it, we do a walk through and I ask questions regarding when is it ok to go through the car wash. I was told that I should wait at least 90 days because the paint was fresh. Wow!! lucky I did a walk through and asked the question, the paint could have been compromised.I don’t think, I will by another topper from them or refer my friends there. I will probably look elsewhere first. I’ve worked in sales so I know the importance of providing a great customer service environment and in the future if you want my business and money then you need to do a better job of showing it. This doesn’t mean that you smile and act nice but rather dot your I’s and cross your T’s, by staying on top of purchase orders and providing great service from start to end of a purchase order.Customer service could be better.

Did a great job putting a seal and new back piece on my truck so my camper shell would fit

They really did a fantastic job, and truly happy that they took the time to do it right the first time.

I called them at 11:30 am and told them I was coming from out of town. They said to be there by 2pm. After driving over 2 hours and arriving in time, the whole place was locked up. I am writing this review as I sit outside their gate. I paid a $300 desposit...3 MONTHS AGO. Ill never do business with these people and you shouldnt either.

Great experience, made the whole canopy thing for my new truck very simple, came in sooner than estimated and the Leer model was perfect color match and the guys there got it installed in a couple hours.

I bought a truck with a Leer shell on it, it needed some things fixed and updated, the staff helped me right away. They were super friendly, Ill definitely be back for what ever else I may need for my truck.

Great tonneau cover but put very small ding in my brand new truck that was positively not there before I dropped it off. Of course management said there was no way they did it.
