Majestic Flooring & Design sold & installed the tile, hardwood, and carpet in our new home and we couldn’t be more happy! From the expertise in designing and choosing my flooring in the showroom with the knowledgeable Majestic Flooring staff to the attention to detail, care, and craftsmanship that was shown by each installer was impressive. The tile setters and hardwood crew worked together to create my vision for the tile insets in my kitchen and entryway. I highly recommend Majestic Flooring & Design!
Our experience was and continues to be awful. Majestic Flooring was hired to do the flooring in our home 5 years ago. We had carpet and LVP flooring installed. Immediately after install we noticed problems with the LVP flooring. You could see the blue material that was laid between the subfloor and planks between some of the seems of the floor (which were very wide gaps). We sent pictures to Chris and he and another guy came by to look and a few were adjusted and putty was used between some of the larger gaps. Chriss response to our disappointment in the appearance of the floors was Well you picked inexpensive flooring). The carpet installers also scuffed up our stair railing during install and Chriss fix for that was to come over with a black sharpie and fill it in. As the past few years have gone on we have had multiple planks start to pop up and noticed more gaps between planks. We called to have someone come take a look at the floor and stretch the carpet. We were told by the gal ( Amanda I believe) who answered the phone that they would find a spot on the schedule and call us. It took weeks and 3 calls from us to finally get something on the schedule. Chris denied that we had ever called in the first place. The repair guy they sent out looked and the floors and said they were not installed correctly and urged us to ask Majestic to fix them. We called Majestic and Chris was extremely rude and disrespectful. He said the floors were floating and when I told him the repair guy said they had been glued he told me Robert didnt say that. He said I should just have my husband call him. He then said he would send out the brand rep for Hallmark Flooring to come look at the floors. Austin came out and I got the impression that Chris had already given him his opinion on us and our flooring issue. Either way Austin checked many areas of the floor and also felt they werent right. He said he would give his suggestions to Majestic and that someone would call us. We didnt hear from anyone for days so my husband called and left a voicemail with the manager at Majestic regarding Austins visit and what can be done with the floors. The manager called and left a message saying it has been well over the 1 year install warranty and there was nothing they could do. Fast forward to today and we had a professional flooring repair company come take a look at the floors and they immediately said the flooring was not installed correctly. He said there was so much movement in the planks. These were sold to us as 20yr floors and it has been 5 and they are failing. 3 professionals have told us they were installed incorrectly yet Majestic refuses to fix the issue. They not only have given themselves a bad name but are not doing any favors for the product itself made by Hallmark Flooring.
My experience with Majestic Flooring was awful. We were required to use them by our builder, Amyx Signature Homes. After traveling 300 miles we were stood up for our first appointment. On our next visit our assigned associate kept us waiting over 45 minutes while she chatted and giggled on the phone with her daughter. The order was not placed in a timely manner and there were cost increases in the products we ordered. The wood flooring was defective and we would not accept damaged goods and made them replace it. Why would a company expect a client to accept flooring that was defective? The installer did not confirm how the flooring was to be installed around the fireplaces so he did it the way he wanted. When I questioned this Majestic said that he had tried to contact me. There were no texts, voicemails or missed calls on my phone. The installation of the carpet on the stairs is strange in my opinion. I dont think it is safe either. (Would you like to see a x-ray of my broken foot? See picture of stairs and judge for yourself.) The tile around the fireplaces is mismatched and makes me crabby every time I look at it. I would not recommend them to anyone.
Majestic just completed tiling a bathroom and dressing area in my home. The work was done expertly and the customer service and management of the project could not have been done better. I can easily recommend using this company.
Ive never seen such a knowledgeable and quick salesman. They know their product and can help you get what you need no matter how bizarre.
They were FANTASTIC! We flooded our brand new house...oops. They were more than knowledgeable and refused to do the floor the same way it was previously installed (they didnt do the original install) as they knew it would have problems long term. They worked with our insurance company to make sure it was done right. They coordinated all of the people for flooring, plumbing, painting etc which made things a breeze. I cant thank them enough for the excellent service!
Best in the business.
Great selection of flooring and floor tile. Nancy was very helpful. Nice staff.
Chris is so knowledgeable!! And we love the new flooring down the middle walkway. Impressive.
We ordered carpet from Majestic Flooring for our home and everything was great. Customer service was great, quality of carpet was great. Installers we perfessonal. Coudnt be happier.
We are very happy with the flooring we chose. We spend a lot of time on our new carpet with our toddler. It’s very comfortable and looks great. That being said we didn’t have a great experience with majestics crew. Chris did alright helping us pick out what we did. But he would tell me he’d call one day and he wouldn’t so I had to keep calling him and leaving messages and hounding him which I dont like to do. Beyond that we had conversations on what we wanted done. Day 1 of our floors being replaced the floors were suppose to be pulled and the wood Beneith were suppose to be painted with killz paint. I came in to grab some things we forgot to find they just painted over the hard wood we were having replaced. We had discussed us keeping the boards they removed and yet they didn’t do why we discussed. So we got over that. The kitchen and bathrooms were done day 1. Next was the carpets. We came in the evening of day 2 to see what has been finished to find nothing got done that day. The following day they finished the carpeting and we came to check the progress. They were done but nobody had let us know. Beyond that the place was a mess. Black smudges on the doors and walls. Trash from the installers all over. And the closet doors were not re installed. They also broke a picture frame and said nothing. The flooring in one of the bathrooms had a bubble behind the toilet. I mentioned it to Chris and he brushed it off. They installed our dish washer crooked. And the trim in the kitchen took 3 weeks after to be installed. They didn’t order enough and it took forever to get in then the installer called in then he came and only did half. I called him and said hey you aren’t done and he came back the next day. Such a head ache. I don’t know that there is a better place but I would look into it before deciding on Majestic.
Great product and customer service
