I purchased my wifes engagement ring and wedding bands from Zales in Valley Stream 2 years ago. Great service. Now that I work at Roosevelt Field Mall I thought how convenient it would be to have my complimentary inspection and cleaning done. When I first went in I wanted to purchase a gift for my wife but decided to wait so that I can bring her ring in to get something that matches and also have it inspected and cleaned. A couple of days ago I go in. Was never greeted and waited about 2 minutes with associates passing me by. I decide to grab a snack and return. I was greeted this time by someone who appeared like they did not want to be there. I said hello and told her about the email I received reminding me of the ring inspection and cleaning. I was asked where is my paperwork. I said I did not have it. She told me I need the paper work or the ref number. I then explained politely and with a smile that the previous time in valley stream they simply looked up my info in the system. After a slight roll of the eye she got an open trey and presented it to me and gave me a not so pleasant look. At this point I really felt like leaving but decided against it. She took the ring, almost unwillingly. No smile no engaging. Nothing. She came back with the ring and instead of asking me if I needed help finding something as I was looking in the showcases, she said for future reference bring this receipt when you want an inspection. I decided against purchasing anything and will go to valley stream. Which is sad as I work in the same mall
Rahy is the only person with true care for the customers. If you arent buying something then do not go to this Zales. They do not uphold or honor the lifetime warranties on their jewelry. Which is interesting because if you take a trip to Green Acres and ask the same exact questions they walk you through what can and can not be done without a nasty attitude. And even when they do uphold the warranty I have had multiple items damaged in their care. Which they then blame you for or again have an attitude. I have never had problems with other Zales stores like I have with this one and the associate. Again if you have to go. Work with Rahy. Even if she cant help you she fully explains everything and offers suggestions. She is sweet, never has an attitude, or talks over you like literally every other associate.
I am a loyal Zales customer. I bought an engagement ring from the Roosevelt field location on November 26th 2020. Service was not bad from associate Ashley, but the store manager was a little rude while I did the transaction. I went back to return the ring on January 24th as my receipt said any purchases made between Oct 24th and Dec 24th 2020 could be returned by Jan 24th 2021. I called ahead and there was no answer. When I arrived at the location Ashley told me the return could not be done. She said the receipt was only for online purchases. That was not true. She then called the store manager who also disregarded the terms on the receipt and said the return could not be done. After arguing with Ashley for a few minutes, I insisted she call her store manager back. When I spoke to the store manager he said the return was not possible and suggested I keep the ring and give to another woman. Although offended I did lose my temper. After threatening to contact corporate offices he then told me to call the customer care number which Ashley already had. After calling customer care they called the store and gave Ashley an override code to make the return within minutes. I have been a long time customer of Zales and only buy jewelry from Zales. After this unprofessional and dishonest experience I will no longer shop at Zales.
Ordered this piece of the 12th of Novemberfor someones birthday that was on the 17th. Recieved piece on November 17th 2020 with a wrong letter engraved. Instead of letter R in the name Sharda. The name was Shanda. Sent piece back for repair November 22nd and was told i would get it back within a week. After 2 weeks i call the store and coorperate to see where piece is and thwy say it is still being repaired. YOU GUYS MESSED THE PIECE UP IN THE FIRST PLACE. Another 2 week go buy still nothing. I call back before Christmas asking and still being repaired. Here i am January 9th going into the zales store to find out my piece is ready with no call or email notice... when i come into the store the woman knew who i was and said i qas wondering when you where going to pick this up. To only be greeted with a big engraved scratch going through the picture tgats was engraved into piece.... Now im forced to return the item and waited 2 months and my time traveling to zales stores for nothing. Mind you i got this piece at a sale price which is no longer available... Will never shop at zales or any store related.

Rahy was amazing she really came through with me getting the ring of my dreams I was set to renew my vows 10th in Jamaica and covid happened but thank you so mush darling she knew what she was doing I trusted her to help me get the best value and best price ❤ wait how could I forget my husband Christmas gift 🤫 its perfect hes going to love it and me lol
Horrendous. I purchased a pair of earrings online and said on the form that I would like them shipped to the store in Roosevelt Field, a few hours later I get this great email thanking me blah blah blah 😑. So I call the store to tell them that Im disabled and am going for multiple epidurals on Monday morning, and asked if my wife or daughter could pick it up and I would send them with my card and whatever identification they needed, to which they told me no we cant do it. Then I offered to pay to have it shipped to me, and they told me they couldnt do that because it would be messy if it got lost blah blah blah. So I called customer service and spoke to a really helpful associate of theirs name Brandi who really was the type of individual youd want representing your company, extremely considerate, concerned about the customer and the company she works for for a very long time, so she gives me a customer service number that she felt could help with the situation, but thesecond customer service person had as much concern about offering a solution as the person who answered the phone in the store in Roosevelt Field....NONE!!! So I tell the higher up customer service representative never mind just cancel the order and cancel my card, oh I cant do that you have to call synchrony bank, with no concern in the world to try to resolve anything, but reiterated that if you dont pick it up yourself in two days it would go back into stock to which I replied just cancel my order . Then I called synchrony bank and cancelled the card without a question from their representative other then my name adress, phone number, social and further, go through all that and her next question was do I still want to cancel to which I said yes and she replied thank you have a nice weekend. Then I spoke to the one diamond 💎 again Brandi who was just mystified by wait took place, I told her no worries, there are thousands of jewelry stores offering card services. All in all (sorry so long) I am first putting this review in here to Google and then Im going to file a complaint with Nassau County consumer affairs, and New York State association for disabilities. The way I was treated on many levels should not take place to anyone, so people if I could give them a negative I would and would tell others to stay away from Zales if this is how they deal with people with disabilities, and folks in general. Went to buy my now fiancee an engagement ring from here. I found an Ariel Disney enchanted ring I loved it but it was out of price range. But Tom a sales person there who was extremely helpful and nice made it happen and made the ring in the price range I needed. I highly recommend going here and buying an engagement ring or any jewelery as they are incredibly helpful. Thanks Tom
Bought my wifes wedding ring here. Layla was nice to us and we opened a credit card with her, but shes moved to a new location. It was hard to get service at first because if you dont look like money, they just ignore you. I spent over $1000 there with the first person who spoke to me, so they should get some manners. The ring seems to be of good quality and my wife loves it.
In all my time buying jewelry from different jewelry stores I’ve never experienced such horrible customer service. Honestly the sales representative blamed me for having my Diamond fall out of my ring even though I got it fixed the week prior for one diamond falling out. I went a week later with all four including the one I got fixed falling out. Personally I don’t see myself buying from Zales again. My bracelets diamond has also fallen out and I’m just sick of dealing with the sales rep who’s only cares about selling me more stuff, when all I want is my pieces of jewelry fixed. It amazes me that this store is even still opened maybe because of the convenience of be in the mall but honestly go to Kay’s I have never been treated like that there.
Horrible customer service. Went in to return an online order (the chain arrived broke) & my husband & I waited 2 hours just to be told we needed to place another order online. Funny part is that they had the necklace we wanted in stock!! No one knew how to enter the sale codes or had any idea what they were doing. Never buying from Zales again. Kays, here we come!
I took my jewelry for inspection and also took my chain for repair. Its a thin chain and always breaks often somehow...This time the Zales employee tells me that she cannot find me in the system took 20 min.... Despite me showing my previous repair and giving my paperwork to her...Anyways I ask her can I upgrade my chain, she asks do I want the same silver chain, I explained to her that my chain is white gold just like my pendant.She said that my chain is silver, so thats when I realize that the time before when I took my chain to Zales, they gave me a stock chain instead of sending my chain for repair. little did I know that he gave me a silver chain!!Now the store refuses to help me asking to call customer service as the store where my husband purchased the chain is closed!!They cannot assist because your employee did not enter the SKU# when they placed ALL my repairs!!This is not my mistake! why in the world would you give me a silver chain I replacement of a white gold chain? No one on their right mind would have accepted this!I need my chain that my husband purchased for me for my birthday 3 years ago! This is unacceptable!
We looked everywhere in Manhattan and long Island and found the most perfect, high quality ring here and got such an amazing deal. Everyone assumes my ring costs so much more than we paid, I receive so many complements all the time! The extremely nice sales associate really hooked us so grateful!
So i recently purchased a watch during the valentines day promotion and once i got home realized i only receive 15% off my order instead of the 25% that was being offered. I spoke with a manager at the location who i told my situation about over the phone and was told to come in the store and get it adjusted accordingly. Once i arrive and speak with someone im told something completely different and left the store with anything unresolved. SO I WILL BE RETURNING THIS ITEM AND CLOSING MY ACCOUNT AFTER. JUST LOST A LOYAL CUSTOMER. NO CARE FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Lauren the manager is extremely rude and dismissive. I ordered a ring and was told billing would begin when I received it and that was a LIE!! When I spoke to her, she said cancel your order. Tom the sales rep delayed my cancellation request with false statements in order to meet sales quotas. This is unethical and deceptive sales practices.
They lost my engagement ring for 5 months. The assistance manager Aisha screamed at my fiance when he demanded to know where the ring was. After five months of refusing to speak to him they found the ring and claimed that it had been in the store all along. According to the store managers it was stuck in a corner of their safe. How any of this happened and how such a large store could be run so poorly is beyond me. Please save yourself the time and money and DO NOT purchase anything from this store.

I went to Zales in Roosevelt Field Mall and the service was horrible!! 4 sales people working at the time, helping other customers, which is fine, but at least greet a customer that walks in! I was waiting for at least 20 minutes and 2 of the sales people helped customers that walked in AFTER me knowing that I was waiting patiently!Very poor display of customer service!!!!
A chubby, tall dude looked down and nodded his head at us as we are beneath him. He tried to denied it like a coward. The manager didnt do anything to solve the problem. She just didnt care, pretty obvious. The service is beyond terrible. When corporate would fix the problem?
I walked in with my family to buy my wifes 25th anniversary ring, hese 2 sales people working at Roosevelt field mall got no energy,no courtesy,most importantly no knowledge. They Both need re training . Very sad. Gave 7k sales to Kay Jewellery....
I knew exactly what charm i wanted and i went into the store to get it and without even asking how they can they help me or anything. They were just on the computer and had the nerve to say they were looking after customers!!!
