Great shop to take your cars in. I took my f82 M4 in for ngk spark plugs, charge pipes, crank hub, and exhaust and they killed it. I talked with Dillon Smith and he took good care of me. Competitive pricing for sure and the job is done great. He first told me the car might not be done the same day but when I got there he said it would be done same day. Made me really happy I didn’t have to come back another day to pick it up since I live a fair amount away. It took them only 6 hours so fast and great work. Dillon was really helpful and generous. Zero stars would be more appropriate. I strongly believe the other reviews stating how good their customer service is must be fake. They charged me over $1000 for a product in May. They told me it would take 3 weeks to make it, they even sent me a picture of the rear seat delete kit they had made in the past for my car model. I gave them 7 weeks. When I called them after 7 weeks to check on my order they said they would look into it and call me back. They never called back. When I followed up again a few days later I was told they couldnt make the rear seat delete kit they had charged me for 7 weeks earlier. During the 7 weeks since the order they never reached out to make me aware they couldnt make the item they told me they could make.. They gave no reason why they couldnt make it. I told them to issue a refund to the credit card used to purchase the item. For the last two weeks I have called 4 times and emailed them to confirm they had processed the refund on their end. Everytime I have gotten the run around, they say oh I will have to check, or I forwarded your email to someone else, ortheperson who would process the refund isnt here today. Finally I had to file a dispute with the credit card company who is now in the process of doing a charge back on them.You would be much better off paying a local fabrication shop to do work for you than to trust these non-communicative, shady grifters.

These guys are pure scam, they just steal ppl money!!I ordered on December 2020 and made deposit, order delayed till July 2021. Every 2 months they change contact because they dont have the balls to take responsability, from PATRICK TRAN to DILLON SMITH one worse than other.Now they ask for the rest of balance but since I dont trust them anymore Im asking for picture. they wouldnt send me pic but threating me of selling my order to another customer.Fortunate for them Im abroad otherwise it wouldnt be just a comment on google.

Great service . We ran into some hiccups when installing some parts on my 2007 335i . The entire team was helpful sorting them out. Came here for a twin turbo installation and several other goodies. Treated me like family. Would definitely recommend this to place to fellow BMW enthusiasts!

Ordered a cage.. Supposed to take 4 to 6 Weeks.. took 4 months to get.. but very quick to take full payment.Posted a review on Facebook to let others know what my experience was and the shop called me twice at 9pm to argue with me about my review and wanting me to take it down. Obviously the shop is known for this type of service because read the other reviews. I should have done my homework. I do not recommend anyone because you will deal with excuses everytime you ask about your items. And wont recieve them until months later

Man where to start 5k later on work they said they did, tore things apart never put back together, had car for over 3.5 years never finished job, and that is the basics of everything trust when I say stay away from the repairs they say they can do some cars that were there when I pulled my car are still there and they have been there almost as long as mine I pulled my car after giving them 5k and took it someone else to come to find out the work they said they did wasnt even done 🤬 and now doesnt take ownership the mechanic I took it to had the car done and back on the road in a week. this is 10% of my experience beware

Commissioned a custom rear cage for an air-cooled 911 project I was working on back in June 2019. Contacted these guys because their cages looked great. Little did I know I would be taken for a ride for OVER A YEAR. Several phone calls and emails and promises to get it done the timeline went from September of 19 to December of 19 to March of 2020 AND STILL NO PRODUCT. The real kicker is these guys took a 100% deposit when they only requested and I only approved a 50% deposit from the beginning. Shouldve known from then these guys were dishonest and grabbing money. A year later and these guys still wont contact us admitting their errors. Had to run the charge back. NEVER will deal with these guys again. Absolute embarrassment of customer service. Looks like I wasnt the only one either looking at other reviews.

Stellar, prompt and with performance on the bleeding edge. You wont be disappointed. From suspension and tuning to installing hardware, no bases are left uncovered. Their bread and butter are obviously cages, and in that regard, they make the best cages for the money youre going to spend.
Two months ago I ordered a rear cage for my M4. 50% down. A month later the balance was requested and I paid it. Paid in full. I was told it would ship next week after a few emails initiating a request for status. I have been getting a status run-around and nobody is initiating updates. Nobody. Crickets. This is probably the worst customer service and communication of any company Ive ever dealt with. We are two months in and they have yet to initiate any updates. This 1 star google rating is going to stay up here and I might change it depending on IF I finally get a paid-in-full $2,000+ product thats two months in AND assuming its of halfway decent quality. I hope the owner reads this and calls me. Very disappointing that I have to warn other prospective customers so this doesnt happen to them. ship next week #3 has gone by the way side.
I ordered a cage from them sept 1. Was told a 4-6 week lead time. John Sun whom I placed the order with said he’d reach out and update me early October. Never heard anything. Dillon Smith sends me an email Sept 22 asking if I want to ceramic coat my cage for an extra $145 and in the same email says production is on schedule 4-6 weeks. Sent an email on Sept 24 and John responded with “production is on track.” Reached out via email to John on oct 12 as it’s been 6 weeks from the order date and got no response. Then again via phone and email on oct 14 and left a message got no call back but Dillon responds by email and says “your cage will be done in the next week or two”. Contacted them via instagram and email on oct 21 And dillon responds with via Instagram “talked to John and your cage will ship within 2 weeks”. 2 weeks pass and I send John another email and he says “your cage will be done with fabrication end of next week then off to powdercoat the week after.” Still no actual shipping date. I paid for a product that I was told would have a 4-6 week lead time which now best case will be 11+ weeks. They never reached out to let me know things would be delayed instead I have to reach out only to be told “a week or two” on three separate occasions adding up to an additional 6 weeks and counting. Honestly I think the cage looks great and hopefully the wait time is worth the quality and fitment I will demand for this lengthy wait but come on guys a little communication would go a long way in keeping me quiet and not getting frustrated. Just say from the get go it’s 4-6 months and you won’t have customers like me being upset. Underpromise. Over deliver. I’m hoping you guys find a way to make this right. I’ll update my review once I have the cage in hand and see how the install goes* 11/3/20 John emails me nov 3 and says “I can keep you updated, early next week, with the progress of the cage.“. Well it’s now Thursday and have not received any update. In a subsequent email John also says “ I expect your cage to ship, at the latest, Nov 16th. You should expect to receive it on the week of Thanksgiving.” Let’s see if they can meet another deadline they set for themselves.*11/16/20 reached out to John and Dillon since I didn’t see any tracking info. Cage was supposed to ship 11/16 but it didn’t. Now they said it will ship 11/17. Let’s see if they can keep the latest self imposed deadline after every single date thus far hasn’t been met. Also what strikes me as odd is that on Sept 22 Dillon emailed me saying the cage was on schedule and in the same emails says “ Ceramic coating for the cage is usually $200, but since you have been waiting for the cage we can offer it at $145.”. I decline. And then yesterday during our conversation through Instagram messenger says “We also do ceramic coating on the cages now for an additional $400 if you were interested. I can do it for $250 since you’ve been waiting for a while brotha. It really helps the paint pop and helps mitigate slight scratching and dings. We use Xpel fusion plus”. So you say it’s normally 200 and offer it for 145 in September. And now it’s double that and are offering it to me for more than it was 2 months ago at $250? The inconsistency just makes me question ethical business practices and can’t help but get the feeling of the bait and switch. What gives guys?*11/23/2020. Robert the owner reaches out via email to apologize for the delay and lack of communication. That’s all fine and well but my cage wasn’t actually picked up by the freight company until 11/18/20. Was supposed to be the 16th. So only two days but I was told by John I would definitely receive the cage before thanksgiving. I was hoping to get it installed over the long weekend. The freight company has an estimated delivery date of the 24th but that’s tomorrow and the when I check the status still shows as in Hawthorne CA. So good news is the cage actually shipped. Bad news it didn’t actually go out on the 16th like I was told and likely won’t be here before thanksgiving.

The experience with Studio RSR has been amazing. A friend of mine showed me the deal they were doing on crank hubs for bmw M3’s a couple of months ago and they immediately set up a time for me to drop my car off and even helped me pay for it in payments. Since then, Robert and John have kept in touch with me asking me how everything is going with my car and have even helped me when my car was having an issue last week. They knew that my midpipe was scratching the brace and told me how to fix it. Studio RSR is not just like every other shop, they truly treat you like a family.

This place is great! It was time for an oil change and Toby managed to fit us in on a Saturday afternoon which is amazing on its own. I was able to have a seat inside while my car was being worked on. It took about an hour, I was in and out of there pretty quick but the work was fantastic. The prices were great and I cant lie, I didnt mind looking at the gorgeous cars while I was waiting. Its obvious they know exactly what theyre doing here and do it with a passion. I will definitely be back!

Ordered a roll bar from RSR for a customers C7 Corvette. Delivery was a month late so I sent it back. Never received a credit back on the card and after 5 phone calls and 2 emails here we are out over $2000.00.

The guys @ RSR have been working on my cars for the last 6 years even before the shop officially opened. They did the VF570 supercharger install on my 2003 E46 M3 and all of the maintenance. Just a few months later, I ended up pulling the trigger on the Stage 2 kit and they were quickly turned that around. After that project, RSR performed all of the maintenance and performance upgrades to my E60 M5 from tune, oil changes, plugs/coils, and other misc. repairs. Now, I’ve got an E70 X5M and F10 M5 and all of the work is done by Toby’s team. Turbo swaps, high pressure fuel pump replacements, oil changes, downpipes install, KW Coilovers install, coding, tuning and brakes. Always dependable, and rates are more than affordable. Highly recommended especially when you’re looking for a 1 STOP SHOP. This is it! Tell em Benjo sent you.

My experience at StudioRSR was absolutely amazing! I took my BMW M4 in for a roll cage install, the Owner Robert was incredibly helpful and even transparent with the whole production process. Additionally, upon a vehicle inspection their techs did I got new rotors and pads for a very fair price that even beat other local BMW shops in the area.After having a delightful experience with my M4 I decided to take my McLaren 570S to them in order to get custom ADV1 wheels and lowering springs installed. John their performance specialist was able to get me perfect tire specs at a very good price as well.I plan on bringing my GT2RS that I have on order back for a cage and my BMW M4 back for a full cage!

My n54 turbos were blown because of a cheap Dual cone air intake I was pressured to buy from SSR Performance. After doing some research and dodging on the BMW Forums I decided to give Studio RSR a shot, I spoke with John over the phone and told him about my situation ( I spent over $4 K @ SSR and a week later my turbos were blown due to their faulty/ cheap DCI. He was very caring and gave me a good deal more to just help me out knowing my situation. Also Robert the owner is very knowledgeable, he gave me updates about the status of my car every few days. I would definitely send them referrals and be going there for my future mods and services.

I contacted Studio RSR after my BMW M6 had a knocking noise coming from the engine bay. After inspection, it was found to have a bent rod. :-( Robert was very informative and went over several options. We ended up replacing the OEM block with a Carbahn Autoworks Stage 2 fully forged block. His service technician Chris is super knowledgeable and explain the whole process. This was a huge job and they knocked it out of the park. I am going through break in procedure now and will be back to install a set of clutch packs shortly. Motor runs very smooth and cant wait to get this fully broken in. If you want a shop that can handle anything from Maintenance to full custom builds do not hesitate to give Studio RSR a call.

Poor and shady business practices!!!!!First, I drove down to Fullerton to find out that his business address is incorrect online. I had to get the correct one through my friend. Second, the phone number constantly changes and they use GoogleVoice (okay, fine but constantly changing the number is suspicious).Anyways, I was recommended to Studio RSR because my friend knew the owner Robert aka Toby. I was trying to get parts from Japan and Robert/Toby told me that he could get them. So I paid and I waited the amount of time he told me. And didnt hear from him about my parts. I emailed him and he told me that they were being shipped. I waited more and didnt hear from him again. I contacted him again and he never responded. This went on for four or so months. I finally got a hold of him and he told me that the parts were never ordered. He stopped responding yet again and thats when more lies plied on: First it was that the businesss email was hacked and that he never got my emails. I would have gotten a bounced notification if that was the case. Then I was told that the businesss bank account was hacked. The bank would have covered the cost if that was the case. This goes on and on and on...Its been over a year now and he still has my money (stole it imo) and I have no car parts. Unlike an upstanding business, he for whatever reasons thinks that lying to me more and not following up on standard business practices is okay. In other words, Robert/Toby continues to jerk me around to this day as I am just trying to get whats owed to me.
