Never mind the last post. They do a good job.

Came in the shop with nothing in mind until i saw the guitar and amp collection and i had to take a look. I knew a few things here and there about guitars but i always wanted to own one to practice. Sean the owner of the shop (a fantastic guitar shredder btw) and his employee, were very kind to recommend me of what to get for beginner players! Came in empty handed and came out with an awesome guitar and an mini amp. Very happy with the purchase and would recommend anyone to check this place out!

The responses from the owner to the complainers are hilarious! Proof that reviews are subjective and should not be taken face value. Just met the owner and closed a deal. I’m happy and that’s all that matters. He’s very reasonable and someone I will do business with again in the future. Keep in mind, it’s a pawn shop, you can’t expect him to buy stuff he can’t sell, otherwise he wouldn’t be in business.

Trustworthy business. Honored his word after realizing he priced an item wrong that was 5x more! Got a great deal on a 30’ Milwaukee measuring tape ($5).

I’ve been in and out of this shop for about 5 years now and I’ve never left disappointed. The owner and his employees are friendly, fair, cut ‘n dry and no b.s.The neg reviews I see holds no merit. People who leave butt hurt really don’t get it. 80% of what’s brought in won’t turn a profit in case they never return to repay their loan and the owner ends up stuck.Bottom line, it’s a business and not a dump for misfit toys..

My experience is irrelevant, were all in different situations when we need to visit the pawnshop. I am a regular customer because they treat me fairly. Does everyone leave happy? Like the song says you cant always get what you want. Old Town Pawnshop is an eBay consignment seller too. Their eBay store name is oldtownpawn and they helped me sell my 1970 Fender Strat for $3100.

This shady shop also runs an Ebay account of the same name, they sold me an Amazon Firebox listed as new in box when I got it not only was it scratched and used it was registered to someone else and loaded with bootleg movies. I paid the cost of what a new one on Amazon was because Amazon was out of stock at the time. I reached out to the seller and told him and his response was that its actually worth more since its filled with bootleg movies so I should just send it back and he will sell it for more. I told him that was a terrible was to do business and would be leaving him negative feedback on Ebay to which he told me he would just get removed anyway. Sure enough I leave him negative feedback and some how he was able to get it removed by telling Ebay that I was extorting him. I reached out to Ebay and they informed me that the negative feedback should not have been removed since I clearly did not extort him by reading our conversation. Ebay was surprisingly nice and helpful and said they would look into this further and figure out why someone removed the negative feedback in the first place. Beware of this place, the owners clearly think they are above their customers which you can clearly tell by the owners rude remakes to anyone who leaves him a bad Google review.

I called to check on the status of my loan and the guy who answered the phone said its been 3 months since the interest was due on my loan and that they melted my custom made necklace! He had no empathy or sympathy whatsoever in fact he had an Attitude in his voice and was very abrupt with me! I told him I spoke with the manager not too long ago to let him know that I was going to be late on the payment and that meant absolutely Nothing! I asked him if I could speak to the manager and he said the manager John cannot do anything and basically refused to let me talk to him. He even Lied to me and said he will have him call me but that never happened. I wish I never came here to pawn my belonging. They could have at least gave me a call to see what I wanted to do. Some things are irreplaceable and God Does Not Like Ugliness!!!

These guys are very unprofessional, I called in asking if they could stay open a few mins after and they ended up closing 5 mins before the closing timw even though I called them. Wouldnt recommend this pawn shop to anyone.

Well to say the least he allowed me to go in early with negative vibes and went ahead and took my Rebel T3 Canon along with an additional lens my charger happened to not function properly so my battery is super low and couldnt take a picture therefore he wanted to offer me below with the battery even cost he was very rude and then well probably been the best item in that store if youre looking for a place to be treated like a drug addict or maybe even nothing than this is a place for you
