I had such a wonderful experience at this location. The staff was such a pleasure to work with and were constantly keeping me updated on the status of my vehicle. Always making sure I was happy with how things were going and I felt like I was made a priority/important and not just another customer that came to get their vehicle repaired. I love how quickly my car was fixed and it looks brand new again. Amazing job and top notch customer service. Joe Hudson is the only collision business I trust to take my vehicles to be repaired! Professional and friendly staff. They go over everything with you. I received updates every 2 to 3 days via phone and email. I was also able to go on their website and check the status of repairs. Before I left with my car they went over everything with me. The car was ready by the date they stated. They do excellent work. I cant even tell the car was ever wrecked. I highly recommend Joe Hudsons if youre looking for quality work and a friendly inviting environment. They even waited for me after hours because of my hectic work schedule so I could pick up my car. Awesome people!

Took my truck in to be repaired, the whole process was explained and e-mails came often to let me know what was happening. The only problem I had was an e-mail on Wednesday that said the repairs were done and only the paperwork remained and to expect a call soon... That call didnt come until Friday at 2 PM . I spent Thursday waiting for nothing. The repairs couldnt have been better, My truck looked brand new!, they even shampooed my carpets. Overall, I would do it again. They were Great!!!

To start, the insurance adjuster overlooked damage on the car. It has taken 2 months to repair the car. They have failed to keep us updated on anything. The girl at the front desk, Ashley, is rude and unprofessional. Asked me several times for payment, but the accident is being handled through both insurance companies (the at fault and mine). The deductible was paid 2 months ago when the car was first brought in for repairs.The first time they fixed the car, part of the SRS airbag was still laying in the seat when they allowed me and my children to get in it. It has been an all around disaster dealing with them. I do NOT recommend them. I am in the process of contacting someone above the store level to discuss these issues. We finally got the call today to pick our car up. We will see if it is actually fixed this time. This experience has been nothing but an inconvenience from the first contact with this company.UPDATE: We were finally able to get the car repaired correctly. We were contacted by corporate, and they did make things right. I am not deleting the above incident because it needs to be read by others.

My wife picked this shop from options given to her after the accident. The work was done earlier in the yr. Maybe February. My wife drove the rental to work and around time for her to get off she gets a call saying the car was ready. This day there was a flash flood and conditions were horrible. And it was rush hour. She dropped off the rental and went to the shop and the car was not finished! Had to go back and get the rental and then came home. All in a flash flood and rush hour. Keep that in mind. Maybe a day or 2 days after that she got the call that the car was ready so she went and got it after work. The next morning when the sun came up I looked over the work and the bumper was installed on one side unevenly, theres places where theres chipped paint kind of telling me the work was rushed and not looked over for quality, paint smudged on an area around the license plate, a damaged trunk release button that was fine when it was dropped off, and inside the trunk and on the back seats theres paint dust or debris or whatever it is all over the place. Theres no way this car was looked over before the call was made for pickup. I called and waited and waited to get the work fixed and was constantly held up due to waiting on information on a new rental. The shop shouldve just covered it and worked to be reimbursed instead of holding us up longer. The work did not get done and the Covid stuff happened and everything shut down around a month month and half later. I havent heard back from them. Truthfully I havent called back. At some point this business reopened and no one contacted me about finishing this work. I went above and beyond calling, texting, driving back to show the flaws, but the work was never corrected due to them not contacting me and the hold up of the rental after it was turned in for the SECOND time. I would think that being a dissatisfied customer there would be notes or something to remind someone that work needs to be redone. From whenever the time was they reopened to right now I havent heard a word. Im not going back and I dont recommend. Has not been a good experience AT ALL!

Amazing turn around service. I expected them to take a week to do the repairs to my vehicle, but they finished the work in 3 days. I was very pleased with the staff there and I will definitely recommend them to everyone that I know. The work they did to my vehicle was excellent. I highly recommend them for body repair.

Did not call regularly to update the status of my vehicle. Vehicle was not repaired properly. There was a piece of my airbag in the back floorboard when they said my vehicle was ready for pickup. There were dents not repaired. The paint job on the repaired parts looked good but seemed to be overlooking many other details.

People there are really nice and they do great work.

Let me just say.. these people are outstandingly amazing at their jobs! Any question i had they would jump on it immediately, every time i called they gave me more answers than i asked for to make sure i 100% knew what was going on with my vehicle, i got text and call updates very often so i never had to wonder where they were with my repairs. I got my car back today and its running like new with no issues. If you are looking for friendly people that know what they are doing, i would definitely recommend going to Joe Hudson Collision Center! Good job guys, y’all are running an amazing business. Took my car to them for cosmetic front end damage. Complete lack of any kind of meaningful communication for weeks until I escalated to a regional manager by the end. Never once throughout the process did someone reach out to me with an estimated date that my car would be ready. I had to constantly call and ask for updates. Pick up date changed at least three times, sometimes the very day I was supposed to have my car back. Every time with a reason that could have/should have been known by JHCC ahead of time. When I arrived to finally pick up my car, there were several issues to include a missing part, paint contamination, and terrible body panel gaps. This was after the manager told me he had personally inspected my car. The only reason this is not a one star review is they gave me a $250 discount on my deductible in the end. While I appreciate the help, it was not nearly worth the constant effort, inconvenience, or issues throughout the process. I would not recommend JHCC to anyone based on my admittedly small sample size of one.

It is always unfortunate to have to have body work done to your vehicle. Although the manufacturer was extremely slow, Joe Hudson Collision in Gardendale, Alabama made the best of it even though it took the manufacturer over 3 months to get the parts required for a 2019 model limited edition vehicle. I recommend them as this was one of the hardest paint schemes ever to match with the color being matte gray for both the metal and the HDPE bumper.

This was an absolutely great experience. Dropped off vehicle and was able to pick it up in less than a week! Repairs are as good as new. Staff was fantastic and I strongly recommend Joe Hudson Collision Center to everyone. Thank you!!!

They did Great work & a good price

The repair appears to be very good workmanship at this point. A day after I picked up the vehicle, I turned on the wipers and they jumped about a foot from the windshield and destroyed the driver wiper. They had been placed in reverse order and hung together when turned on. The shop used to have a detail shop that would cleaned a vehicle almost like new after a repair, but since Joe Hudsons acquired the shop they only barely vacuum at the vehicle. The shop did offer to refund the cost of a new wiper blade. The employees are all very professional.

Staff was very kind and helpful. Got me in and out quickly. I recommend calling ahead so they know youre coming. If you do they will be more than willing to help you and we with you should any complications arise.

The people at JHCC (Gardendale) were very nice and eager to do a great job! I had some issues with insurance company moving slow and JHCC made everything else as easy and painless as they could. I would recommend them to anyone.

Not only was the guy named Craig rude and hateful but my truck was not repaired properly. The side panel is two tone and has a bunch of rough spots. $2100 will get you a $200 paint job! Will NOT be back and will make sure to deter everyone I know from using Joe Hudson in Gardendale!

I will never use this shop again. Went to them after a car wreck I had about a month back and they had to replace my windshield, needed an alignment, get my bumper fixed and a couple of other things. When I got my car I didnt realize until I got home but my rear view mirror was so far down its closer to the center of my windshield than the top where it should be. Now Im sitting in a tire shop getting a new tire because I need an alignment, which I supposedly just got, so my tires are grinding into the ground. Thanks for nothing! Wont be back and wont recommend to anyone else. I have never been so frustrated. The only thing they did right was being polite and getting it done in a timely manner but when you dont do things how theyre supposed to be, its easy to get done faster than usual
