They have a great location and everyone is friendly. You can ship your UPS packages here too. The rewards you get from CVS for shopping here are a nice bonus. The pharmacy staff are very professional and caring. So take care of your prescriptions and package shipping in one trip.

The workers are incredible and the store looks fantastic! I always feel comfortable and cared for when I visit this specific CVS.When an employee has pride in their work, it shows!

Two siblings went into the Gardendale CVS to get narcan due to a family member having a history of overdosing. I actually referred them to the store. When they came in on Saturday July 3rd around 2:20PM CST, the pharmacist said they could no longer fill narcan without a prescription from a doctor based on a new Alabama state law? This of course blew my mind. I told them to go across the street to Walgreens and they gave it to them in 15 minutes. Also, the Walgreens pharmacist said she never heard of any such law and was completely baffled on why CVS would not fill it. Needless to say, we will never use CVS again. Nobody wants to get narcan unless they feel someone they love lifes in jeopardy. What a shame that CVS wouldnt help them.

Friendly staff

CVS is a great place to fill prescriptions, they have competitive prices and the staff is friendly, helpful, efficient and professional. I like that CVS gives you extra-bucks coupons on your purchases. CVS also mails out discount coupons that can be used with the extra-bucks. I like to use my coupons on the large makeup selection of items they have.

I had a prescription filled for my daughter and they failed to mix it. I had to go back in the cold and rain and explain what happened, only to be met by a young lady with an attitude. She didn’t apologize or say one word. She just “fixed” the prescription. Well I get home and the young lady put the wrong size stopper in the medicine and it fell into the bottle. I called to speak with the Pharmacist who was very non chalant and insincere. I don’t understand how these people could be so careless and unprofessional and working with something as important as medication. Very disappointed.

Little pricey on items but pharmacy is great! Super nice staff

This is just another typical CVS and theres nothing particularly good about it. Customer service isnt great and at the front they wont help you unless you ask for something specific.These type of stores all have the same thing in common and that is pricing everything in the store as if the whole world has their goofy card. That way when you try to check out with no card you get hit with a ridiculous total. So, I just dont even go anymore. Would have rather had a restaurant or something else built here in this spot.

They are too busy to keep up ! Staff changes constantly and they tell you different things. They can just be down right Rude sometimes.Just too much confusion from too many customers.

Your 4 for $10 Coke drinks is misleading. Look at it however you choose but the drinks cost me $12 not the $10 as advertised. So I get a $2 reward bucks toward my next purchase. If I never shop at CVS again, where is my savings? Probably will not shop at your establishment again.

Although some of the staff are professionals, for the most part this has got to be poorest excuse for a pharmacy it has been my misfortune to stumble across.In 11 months i have not been able to pick up my prescriptions in a single visit. Not once. I have received an excuse every single time ranging from the pharmacy tech left the insulin out of the refrigerator and it is ruined to being told it is ready only to find out it has to be ordered.Tonight I asked to speak to the pharmacist due to their latest screw up only to get hung up on. Then the little phone jockey calls back and just holds the phone line open without saying anything.They get one star ONLY because I can’t give a negative raiting.I will not be back .. my insurance money and copay can be spent somewhere else.

Received the wrong prescription for my wife. Twice. Even with 9 people behind the counter lots of mistakes are made.

Your average CVS. Most items are priced slightly higher than what you could either find in another retail location, a grocery store, or online. More importantly, the pharmacy staff appears to be completely overwhelmed most of the time.
