We’ve had the worst experience here. We ordered a window back in July. They told us 4 weeks, 4 weeks past and we never heard from them so we called to get an update. No one could give us an update, so we called back again a week later. Finally someone said it would be ready on 9/24 a month after we were told. Well 9/24 came and no word. So we called to get an update. The guy told us he was on vaca and would call us when he got back. No one called us back, so we tried AGAIN for an update and the woman said the guy making us the window was on break and she’d call us when he got back, she never called us back!! We have tried several times to get an update with no response. We put 50% down and still don’t have a window. If you’re running behind, that’s fine but be honest and get back to your customers! It’s uncalled for. Not happy. Hoping for a refund if we don’t get a call back or a window ASAP.

These people rock! The staff, both in the store and in the yard, are dedicated and knowledgeable. I am an industry professional and I do more business here, than any other lumberyard.

The store is really organized and everything is easy to find. Mike (at the front desk) is super helpful and a very kind and considerate person.

Worst costumer service ever. Will never go back there. I called and asked if I brought a door in today, could they measure it? The guy on the phone said yes. We detached the front door and brought it in. When I arrived there, the guy said nobody there could measure the door….

Fast service, quick and affordable

I live in town and its nice having a place to go where I can get almost everything I need to fix whatever may break in my house. Prices can be a little high on some things but all in all its a good selection and its reasonably priced and youre not getting the same Brands you get at Home Depot or Lowes and I like that.

They dont have any issues taking your money, but have serious communication issues in house. 5k of lumber ordered for a deck...they took payment immediately then didnt order the product for the deck.I wouldnt do business with these people ever again. Absolute joke of a business. Customer service is horrendous, at best. Me on the phone: may I speak to (name of associate)? Lady at Maki: nope. Hes on his phone.Cant wait to be done dealing with this cesspool.

The store is well organized, clean, the employees are nolegable about the building industry and homeowner needs,but the real action is over at the welding area, full structural fab, wood and steel is like a Reeces they just go together.

Great people to work with all professionals

I always buy local and avoid the big box stores as much as possible. However, after many visits to Maki home center in Gardner, Ill drive to Home Depot or Lowes. Your customer service at the counter is horrible! That woman with the tattoos couldnt get a worse attitude! Not everyone that comes in your store is a professional contractor. So,questions shouldnt be met with an Answer with a horrible attitude. Ill take my money elsewhere. I would like to add that the employee at the gate was great and I completely appreciated his assistance. Thats why you got one star at all.

Very friendly staff, I am happy to support this local small business. I stay away from the big stores as much as possible in favor of small local businesses.

Horrible service. I am always a local shopper but this company is despicable. They don’t return phone calls. They do not call you when you order something to let you know that it is in. You have to call and track your merchandise that you already paid for down. When call no one knows anything if they even answer the phone. When you talk to a manager they are rude and condescending. I waited 3 months for some windows that I ordered. I called several times and was told they had no idea then transferred to a voicemail which nobody returned the call. It wasn’t until I tried to return the product that they miraculously found it and then told me that I couldn’t return the product. These people are thieves.
