Always a great experience when I go in! Typically I like to dine in and either read or write while enjoying whatever I get. The smoothies are FANTASTIC and everyone working there is always friendly!

I would go there often if they were open in the morning. Its very disappointing to have such a nice cafe that isnt open until after 9am. Its almost funny. A coffee shop that isnt open in the early morning.

The sandwich egg was not cooked bread was soggy and bacon was not cooked all the way. very gross couldnt eat it at all

I just picked up an Oriental Chicken salad which costs about $10. When I got home, it was a plastic container of lettuce. Barely any tomato that wasn’t bad, no mandarin oranges at all and a tiny amount of chicken and dressing. What a rip off. This place has gone way down hill.

Closed at 4:15 on a Tuesday when signs on front and Google shows open to 5pm. This place was better under the last owners. I used to come here regularly now just a a disappointment

Spent $18 for a turkey bacon avocado sandwich with chips and a smoothie. Got about 6 chips and 1 slice of avocado in the sandwich. Not to mention the drink sizes have gotten smaller, just not worth these high prices.

Quaint coffee shop. Limited hours(somewhat disappointing).But, go here Everytime Im in Gardner visiting the family.

Stopped in for some late breakfast while passing through. What a delicious breakfast burrito! If I make it back again would be stoked to try a smoothie next time.

Was here in their parking lot for an outside event, so I didnt get to try anything, but their menu looked very tempting. Unsure if they have gluten-free items, which is a necessity for me. Lots of breakfast & lunch sandwich & wrap choices. And of course, hot beverages.

Used to love this place but now hate going due to terrible service. not sure if the phone number has changed or if they just simply aren’t answering the phone anymore. went there today drove 20 minutes only to get greeted with a paper on the door stating that they are closed only today. no notices on facebook or anything mentioning the closure of today. at this point it seems like this place is just wanting to lose business

Its where I go for my post gym PB Protein smoothie and the place is just incredible. The staff is always super friendly, the atmosphere makes you want to hang out for awhile and just relax. Its really a gem in the town of Gardner and I hope they thrive.

Went to Cafe Edesia with a friend today. We were the only ones in there. We ordered two mocha smoothies with chocolate protein, I presented a gift card and my debit card for payment, the front girl called her supervisor over to process it, my friend noticed to the side of the register that there was an alternate menu with specials so she asked If she could change her order - the supervisor replied “it’s already in the computer and the price will change” - keep in mind they hadn’t processed my payment yet or even started to make the smoothies. We replied okay and hesitated because we were expecting them to ask what it was she wanted to change her order to. She did not. They made the smoothies and only put 1 scoop of protein in the blender (for 2 smoothies). The smoothie tasted like Hershey’s chocolate milk and the cups were not even filled all the way and the girl who had made the smoothies poured the rest of the smoothie mixture down the drain. We had to come home and add in more ingredients to the smoothie because it was that bad. Definitely would not recommend. Poor service and poor food. Will not being going back

I am beyond grateful a friend suggested Cafe Edesia to me because it is fantastic. My food/beverages are made perfectly each time I go and it is evident they hold themselves to a high standard. This time was especially positive. I had my husky waiting in my *running* car parked right outside the door while I ran in for a quick to-go order. I mentioned that I would come back inside shortly to pick up my order, but the scattered thunderstorms had her scared so I wanted to check on her. A few minutes later as I’m about to come inside to get my order, it is brought out to me with a smile and “I figured I’d save you the trip!”. Glacier was thrilled 🙌🏼. During these crazy times, any act of kindness goes such a long way. I am so appreciative of the service and quality here that it has quickly become a regular stop. Needless to say, Glacier and I are huge fans of this place (and she loved her whipped cream) lol.

This place has amazing food, but they are not reliable at all. It is a hit or miss with when they chose to be open. If they would update their hours or show up on time I will gladly change this review.

Great sandwiches. Really good place to meet up for business conferences or meetings. If youre going to school, its a great place to study and get something to eat. They have a really nice and relaxing atmosphere. If you work out or need something really nutritious, try out some of their smoothies. Their cookies and cream smoothies are just one of the many great things they have there. They also have protein mix to add to the smoothies.

I am glad that I found this place. I just moved to a city close by and this place is great! Nice food, atmosphere and fair prices.Its hidden, hard to see :) glad I decided to check what it was.

This place never disappoints me. I’ve ordered salads, sandwiches, coffees, and smoothies and all were exceptional. The only thing is I wish they were open earlier in the morning so I could get my coffee in the morning before work. I highly recommend!!

This place is confusing. The decor is odd, there are random decorations scattered throughout, almost as storage. I struggle with what I think of this place because the food and drinks are generally good but the dining area is often dirty, and so is the bathroom. Makes me wonder whats behind the kitchen doors. Do NOT go here if you are in a hurry either, they are super slow and often times youll be standing at the counter for a long time before anyone even comes out the back kitchen. I feel like this place has a lot of potential since it is the only cafe in the area, but unfortunately it doesnt seem like any changes are coming any time soon.

Nice place to chat, relax, go online and chill out. My coffee could have been served hotter than it was but it was good. They had a limited amount of pastries which was disappointing, but you cant have everything. I liked this place a lot and I would definitely recommend it and I would go back.

My daughter and I have made this local spot our new weekly chat place. It has an inviting and cozy cafe atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Great coffee drinks with an extensive selection. Havent had the sandwiches yet, but the menu looks really good! Prices are reasonable too. A great local business worthy of supporting.

The only place in town to get a breakfast smoothie and homemade healthy soup to go for lunch. Hubby and I sometimes treat ourselves to one of the incredible sandwiches for lunch. We share or take half home for supper. Dont forget the great coffee and specialties. The peppermint latte is my favorite. They take great pride in providing good food.

A hidden gem in Gardener and basically the only independent coffee house around. Good java menu and lunch selections. Its also quiet enough to telecommute here, read, or just hang out.

This place would be 5 star if their hours of operation were more accommodating. they arent open early enough, most people work around 8 and for a coffee place youd think theyd open up at VERY least 7 am. They would make a decent amount of money, that hour or two definitely matters.

The manager and is very friendly every time I see him talk with anyone--not over the top, but seemingly genuinely caring for his customers. Very clean, not too loud or quiet music (often soft twists on pop songs), lots of natural lighting and comfortable CLEAN sofas and lots of nice decorations not ads for the wandering eye to catch.Thing that might bother some is its right on a T-intersection. Lots of big trucks at that traffic light.

Great little coffee shop with good food. The coffee is delicious, but may be a little over priced ($5 for a large). Could be a little faster too, it seems like every time I go in there, there is only one person taking orders and making food/drinks. Would recommend.7/10

Speed of service is not a strong point, but food and presentation are worth the wait. I had the Tuscan Tomato soup and a Chicken Ceasar salad. Sorry no photo of the soup, but the salad was great. Soup was fresh and definitely home made. Salad was crisp, with fresh chopped romaine and a tangy ceasar dressing. My traveling partners had sandwiches, and both left nothing on the plates. Will be trying the smoothies next trip out. Free Wi-Fi, relaxing atmosphere. Comfortable seating. Nice place to grab a bite and socialize!Will definitely be back to this spot!

Its 9:15 on a Thursday morning. It seems like a bad business decision for a cafe not to be open at this time. You guys absolutely need to have better and more consistent hours.

Latte was great and the sandwich was delicious. Not the best Ive had, but easily the best around here. Would be 5 stars if they opened a bit earlier for the morning commute.

Hours are inconsistent and incorrectly posted. The coffee is good. The food makes for a good alternative to fast food. I just wish the schedule was more clear and consistent.

Comfortable place to work remotely or just have a cup of coffee. Good soups and sandwiches. Lots of power outlets and decent wifi. Free conference room is awesome if you need to make a private call or have a meeting. My office away from home when Im in the area.

I like this place alot, although they ran out of the one and only soup the last tine i went which is weird because if something is on special you should make sure not to run out before noon. But either way the food is delicious and fresh...the smoothies are to die for...fresh fruit in all the smoothies mkaes a huge difference. I definitely recommend going here...you can sit on sofas like your at home or u can sit at a table....

If youre looking for that cafe experience and have some time to relax, but youre stranded in Gardner, skip the 5 Dunkin Donuts around town and check this place out.Wait times can be a bit long, but the relaxed atmosphere helps.Its the type of place youd expect to see in a busy city, but somehow surviving in Chair City.

Best Cubano and Best Salsa you will ever have, smoothies are also top notch. Highly recommend checking this place out

Awesome. Great service, food, and atmosphere. Has gluten free bread available for excellent sandwiches. A real cyber cafe with great wireless access and electrical outlets. North Central MA needs more places like this for professionals and students.

This is a great local coffee, smoothie and sandwich place. I can only speak to their smoothies which have all been delicious and made with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere here is very nice and makes for a great space to gather with friends. Music is mellow and several televisions are scattered around with news or events of the day. I am sure they would put on whatever you want. They also have a small meeting room available for business use. Free WiFi.

Came in on Friday morning to get some work done as contractors were at my office. Only one person serving customers. Two people walked out due to the wait. It was freezing! Thermostat had heat off and showing a temp of 59°. I turned it on. Waited 15 minutes for a coffee and sat down to work. WiFi access not available. Clerk said theyve been having issues with it but owner should be arriving in 15 minutes. Will not be back. Im better off going to the library and stopping at Dunkins

The Male owner is amazing, but the female one is a jerk. The food is so good, but the smoothies and coffee drinks are overpowering with ingredients. I.e. the limited edition strawberry chocolate smoothie, is overpowered with the taste of rotten strawberries. The sweet dream is overpowered by banana. Its a hit or miss.
