Had an old furnace that quit on me and they put in a new one, also an old oil tank that had to be replaced and am happy with both. The techs that did the work were pleasant to deal with. Work was completed in a very short time. Been with this company for over 20 years and have been totally satisfied.

I have had Chair City for 21 years. Their payment plans have been my savior. No big payments out in the winter. Evenly spaced payments make it so that I can budget for my heat every month. Chair city oil is our GO TO for heating and oil services! They are prompt and courteous! We had an emergency with our heater as previous owners hadn’t had the furnace or chimney cleaned in 2013. Needless to say, carbon monoxide detector is going off! We have been with Chair City prior to 2012. In 2012, we needed to update our present heating system. CCO had been advertising System 2000 in the Gardner News. This system is an on demand system. It only runs when heat is called for. CCO gave us 2 estimate for System 2000and a regular system that constantly keep your water hot. They also suggested and help withapplying for Mass Save. With Mass Save, we were able to save money to purchase System 2000.With the purchase of System 2000, we continue to save money because of using less oil due to System 2000 being on demand. If you are in need for update your heating system, this is the place to go to. Also with Mass Save, we had our attic’s insulation updated with moresavings. I Highly recommend Chair City Oil owners and employees.

There is business that loses customers due to bad policy I was 6 years old buying oil from the chair oil gardner and I paid immediately and I forgot to call to put on Thursday and call on Friday and they ask me if it is in gardner they do not have to pay shipping but as it is the templeton you have to pay 65 dolrrs templeton 5 minutes from gardner .... with good reason says whoever has a store attends it if not that he sells it.. 100% thrilled with Chair City. I needed a new boiler, the guys initially showed up same day I called to estimate the job. They then came and did their part faster than I was able to support them. Only down side, I have a beautiful new furnace in my grungy old basement. Guys were fast, polite and clean.

This year we wanted to figure out how to reduce our oil bill. I spoke with Dave at Chair City Oil and Heating. He took time to come to my home and look at our oil heating system and water heater. He was very clear explaining what he observed. He concluded that my water heater was over 25 years old. He performed an analysis and got back to me very quickly with his results. I did not need to replace my heating system but my water heater was in critical shape. He gave me estimates of how my oil consumption would improve. Dave and Mike came to my house at the exact time they committed to and replaced the water heater. They did what Dave had promised and after two months, my oil consumption has improved even more than the estimate! While Dave performed his original analysis, he suggested that I shut down my heating system during the summer. My previous oil company told me to keep it running year round. That one tip from Dave contributed to my new found energy savings. Chair City Oil and Heating has a very professional approach to doing business. It is refreshing and I will always be grateful to Dave.

I recently moved to Gardner and purchased a house. When I moved in, there was very little oil in the tank and the hot water runs off the oil. I called and attempted to set up an appointment to get an estimate and payment plan. The person I talked to told me I needed to fill out an application first, so I did. It took me calling multiple times a week for about 3-4 weeks before Peter was able to come to my house. We went over the numbers and I was not too happy about what they could offer. I received a flyer in the mail just a few days before so I called that company. The person was able to turn around and meet me that day - way better customer service. We talked and I ended up using the other company. Now to my surprise, 5 weeks later I had a bill on my door from Chair City Oil. I called and asked why I got the oil delivery and they told me because I filled out the application and selected automatic delivery. I told them that I filled that out for the payment plan like I was told and never went forward with the plan because I found a better deal. The lady told me there was nothing she could do except take me off automatic delivery. The whole experience was horrible and I do not think I will ever go with Chair City Oil.
