Some of the best donuts you can get in the Richardson/Garland area. Just be aware that if you are getting a box of a dozen variety that their deluxe donuts will count as two. They have large kolaches with different types of meat in them. The bread is a little bit large for the meat thats in it, but it does have a good flavor and they will warm them up for you if you want them hot.

These donuts are light, airy, fluffy, and delicious. Just the way donuts should be. The majority of donuts are behind the counter, and easy to pick out. The staff was friendly and eager to help, working fast to assist the next customer. Prices were great for the quality of donuts you receive. Drinks and coffee available, as well as tables to sit and enjoy your purchase.

VERY SANITARY. They use one gloved hand to handle food, their other non-gloved hand to handle credit cards. Then they dispose of the glove. Fresh glove each customer is what I saw. Wish all food places had this Shipleys High Standards.

Their cinnamon sugar when is hot is on another level, the customer service is top notch, on par or even better than chickflia. I would recommend getting kolaches there as well. BEST DONUT SHOP ALL STATE. I would highly recommend saying your total donuts before listing what you want just to make it easier for the workers

The dough not that good. I’m craving for glazed donut but for here those are not good. :( the outside glaze lacks of consistency, and the dough was not moist enough. The glaze was salty.. Thats weird to me.Yes I came today just a few hours ago. I didnt get any smile for the service as well. I mean, I will be more happy with a smile from staff. I didnt even go in. I parked in front and could see two staff members eating at the counter. 1 of them washed their hands when finished, but didnt use soap. What is really going on? How do they not know better, pandemic or not, this is not appropriate for food service.

Twice in a row now Ive ordered jalapeno kolaches online and received them plain (no jalapeno). I let them know the first time so hoped it would be better, but nope. Shame because Ive always enjoyed their food, but wont be returning.

This used to be a great donut place. However, now they make all the donuts before the store opens up at 5 am and by the time you get them the icing is liquid. This is true if you go at 7AM or 11AM. They used to make the donuts fresh, and you could go and get freshly made donuts around 1030AM or early in the morning. However, for the past couple of months they seem to make all the donuts in the morning before the store opens and then serve the old donuts off the trays the rest of the day.

Falls short of Shipley standards.

Being from Arkansas Shipley donuts is what I grew up on and to this day their quality has not changed. I dont eat many sweets anymore, but I always treat my self with Shipleys when I want a quick reward in the morning. Great and fast staff everytime.

I grew up on Shipleys Donuts in MS and this doesnt taste like it. If youre from MISSISSIPPI and happen to be in another state dont expect the same taste. My guess is the water. Donuts were fresh without a doubt but a different taste than what I wanted and expected.

OMG these donuts melt in your mouth. So fresh, so warm, very hard to eat just one. So dont. You should definitely buy a dozen so you can share.

Yuck! The absolute worst donut Ive had in a long time. Went there early 7am, Friday morning. It was packed, but the line moved quickly. I got 3 donuts and they all tasted of old, rancid oil. The glaze doesnt cover the donut either, and its sticky like they were made yesterday. So cheap. I dont understand how this place has good reviews if this is their standard Friday morning fare. Next time ill pass this place and stop at one of the other half dozen donut shops in the area.

Was in town for a Wedding Shower and on the way back home, we had to stop by to grab us some donuts and Kolaches. We ordered half a dozen glazed, half a dozen of walnut, and half a dozen kolaches.The glazed donuts was so good, it just melted in my mouth. The walnut donut had just the perfect walnut to donut ratio. Of course after having two donuts, I was just about full but I had to try their Kolaches. It was great. The sausage was warm and bread was soft and moist.The service was great. The little lady in the front was super nice and friendly. I loved that its a family owned shop. I would definitely come back if Im ever in the area.

Honestly I think Shipleys donuts are better than krispy kreme. They are always ready and have lots on hand. Its the perfect amount of sweetness to where it doesnt feel like your teeth are about to fall out. Ive never had a bad donut from Shipleys. I love the donut holes, cinnamon twists, and regular twists. I also love their cinnamon rolls. Everything is soo tasty and amazing! Would definitely go out of my way to get some Shipleys donuts.

This is one of the BEST Shipleys Ive been to... typically Im disappointed in Shipleys, and really do not care for them; but I have yet to find a good bakery in the area; so these folks will do just fine. Any kolache fiends out there, please review the best spots! The Jupiter location does an excellent job with their kolaches, its just they are a bit breadier than I prefer; but like I said they do better than most. Remember not all Shipleys are created equal; thats a fact! Oh, and staff is always friendly, thanks guys! :)
