I drove two hours from home and unfortunately my radiator busted. I couldn’t find a company that would take me in for the repair, after calling all around the area I finally found Mr. Tim and his crew over at Meineke and not only did they fit me into their already jam packed schedule, they was extremely nice and the environment was clean. I went in for an inspection. The woman at the desk was not friendly at all. At least not to me. When a customer that she needs came in she was all smiles and bending over backwards to help him out. I wondered what I had done to turn her off. Just walk in I suppose.

I have been a regular customer since Tim took over as manager. Tim, Heather, and the mechanics are honest and trustworthy. You always know if something can wait, and they never sell you something you don’t need, unlike it was before. I’m also very happy Heather is back because she is extremely knowledgeable and can explain car problems clearly.

Great experience, close by. Only hiccup was the tech broke my oil dipstick off at top ( can’t check my oil or oil change ) & didn’t tell me or the mgr. I found it same day. Know that could happen with an older car, BUT they should have been honest & told me…not figure I’d find out a month or (2) down the road. I have to buy a new dipstick & have them try to remove the snapped off original. I’ll still go there for maintenance, but will check the work before I leave the parking lot.

I had an oil change and and inspection done. This is my routine. I have stayed with this shop because they do good work. They done force small unimportant issues on you and “make” you get other things done. Easy appt set up and done before 9am on a Saturday.

Was able to schedule the appointment for an inspection and got my truck inspected in a very timely manner. Staff treats me as a friend and handle themselves professionally. Recommend their business for anyone’s car needs a trustworthy shop for repairs or service.

Been going here for a few years now. Service has always been top-notch. They are straight forward and don’t try to up sell you. They give honest answers and have even told me at times that certain services were not needed and recommend when there is something needed. They’ve helped troubleshoot questions and even provided a loaner car at times. My vehicle has always been ready when they said it would be. When I have had a tire issue but no appointment they have always found a way to squeeze me in with little wait time. They also have a program that allows you to earn points for future services. Also their rates are very competitive and have saved me hundreds of dollars compared to going to a dealership for service. I highly recommend them.

We broke down in Raleigh NC on our way too the Outer Banks, no one would help us considering it was a Saturday. I called and Tim was amazing!!! Service went ok but it turned out to be a lot more expensive than I expected. I don’t understand why having a Jeep Wrangler is a more expensive vehicle to do a oil change in? The V-6 motor is the same used in a long line of vehicles other than the Wrangler. It’s also used in the Cherokee & Grand Cherokee…

With my cars alternator going bad, I chose to go straight to Meineke to have it replaced, instead of taking it to an auto parts store to have it tested. I didnt have an appointment, but they had room for my car in the bay and quickly went to work on the replacement. The manager and the assistant manager were both incredibly helpful and professional. They got my car in and worked on, the assistant manager gave me a quote for replacing my radiator and hoses while I waited. My vehicle is over 20 years old and has been driven lightly but was meticulously maintained, and since I received it from my father six months ago, Ive driven it daily and put some miles on it. I was waiting in the shop for under two hours and was so impressed by the service I received that I made an appointment to have my radiator service done two weeks from today. With my go-to mechanics business destroyed due to the covid-19 shutdown, this particular Meineke shop has become my new go-to repair shop. Highly recommend.

Charged $125 to checkout van. I was not called abc had to call business to find out my van status. I woii I’llld never go back to this business.

I love meineke, Ive been going to the one on highway 70 in garner for about 10 years now. They have awesome customer service and they are so good with appointment scheduling.

The actual experience was good. I was very uncomfortable because no one wore mask. Mask wearing is still recommended by CDC. Manager, didnt comply not require it.

The light change was done fast. Some of the staff are rude but the others were pleasant.

The staff was great, they had me in and out very quickly!

I went in to get my brakes checked because I felt vibration in steering wheel. When I got there, I had more concerns and asked to get oil change and check my transmission fluid. Meineke was very accommodating and allowed me to have all my concerns checked. They even brought out my air filters to show me how dirty they had become. I wound up needing new front rotors and they covered part of the cost of new brakes with a coupon I didn’t realize was available. I am very happy with the services performed on my car and the peace of mind knowing all the services were performed in an excellent manner. Thank you Meineke.

Highly recommend this shop!! I dropped my car off the night before and the next day they called me in the morning to discuss what needed to be done. After giving the okay to do the work they had it done by early afternoon and called me right up to let me know it was ready!! Great technicians and the gal at the front was very friendly!

While I have used places that worked a little more quickly, they looked over my truck very throughly and warned me about a couple diagnostic tests WITHOUT trying to pressure me into buying through them. I am pleased. I only left 4 stars because of the wait, and even that was not bad with them having comfortable chairs in the waiting area.

I normally dont write reviews (its rare) but I owe it to the 1st time people who use this Garner #70 location. First off this is the second time I was lied to. The 1st time was about 3 yrs ago when the mechanic told me I needed front brakes when they were put in new only 3 months before. Okay maybe it was a mistake but this new issue was in no way a mistake or misunderstanding.My daughter went in for an oil change on her Nissan. We received a call from Alicia (front desk) saying there was an issue and that the vehicle need a catalytic converter ($800 job). The vehicle recently (in the summer Aug) had one put in brand new in order to pass inspection. We had our mechanic call their mechanic and once they got on the phone they changed there story very quickly. It went from needing a catalytic converter to there was a small exhaust leak. The front desk girl told me flat out after I said the cat convert was new she said Im sorry but it is shot. We had a 3 way conversation so I was able to hear that the Meineke mechanic sounded very nervous in his explanation of his diagnosis.When we paid for the oil change I turned to the people in the waiting area and said be very careful about this location. Well after about and hour Tim (the manager) called me and was unhappy about what I said to the waiting customers. He didnt say Im so sorry there was a huge misunderstanding, he didnt say we will pay for your oil change. Nope zero, he was just mad that I told his customers be careful.So what I have learned about this Garner location is to stay far away from them. They are scam artists and be very careful about using them. I will never have anyone in my family use them ever. Just plain dishonest period!! Buyer Beware!!!!!

I always set up an appt for any service since I have to wait. The oil changes are done quickly & Im usually in & out in 45 minutes. Ive never felt like they try to sell me services that arent necessary like I have experienced at similar companies.

This used to be my go-to place and, maybe one day, they can be that for me again. However, I now have to find some place else to go because Im asking too much for a worker to wear a mask while hes/shes working INSIDE my car. I can understand them not wearing a mask while working under the hood or underneath my car, but whats to say they dont sneeze or cough or otherwise touch and leave bacteria inside my actual car? Im very disappointed because I loved this place.

Super helpful and friendly, they really worked with me to make sure I was taken care of and they finished my car quickly for the work that was being done.

I got a oil change, tire rotation. Everything was great. Everyone friendly. No problems until I got home. While driving home I noticed my car was pretty loud. I got home and my husband noticed they put my air filter in wrong and they filled my coolant to the very top where it was spilling out!

I called Tim last minute, and he was able to get my oil change and state inspection done on my Ford Fusion before my hectic Christmas begins. The team was thorough in checking my vehicle and making sure it was safe to drive. If you need a car place that you can trust and will treat you honest, I recommend Meineke in Garner!

I am incredibly disappointed in this location. I had an 11:00 appointment for an oil change which took over 2.5 hours to complete. The store owner, James, said they don’t always have oil filters in stock even though I scheduled this appointment days in advance with my vehicle make and model giving them ample time to prepare. James took no accountability for the lack of parts. Over two hours later they were still awaiting the part when they originally told me it would be maximum 45 minutes for the oil change service. James explained the situation as I arrived after 2.5 hours of waiting with a sick grin and gave me no apology or showed any sign of being apologetic for wasting almost three hours of my day due to his mistake. I would give this location zero stars if I could however the lady working at the desk handling the phone and appointments was incredibly helpful and apologetic which did help my frustration.I urge the owner to be more prepared for appointments and work on his customer service.

I had a muffler that needed replaced. Took it here to get the loud rattling noise diagnosed. I explained the loud noise that I was hearing when I accelerated. Was told that they may need to take it for a test drive. 30 mins after I saw them pull out of the lot in my truck they still hadnt returned. Told the woman working the front desk that I wanted my vehicle back now. Heard her make the phone call. They returned 15 mins after the call was made. When my keys were returned i was told the noise was to faint for us to hear. Come to find out that they were joyriding or running errands. This visit cost 45 mins and a quarter tank of gas that was burnt while they were out for their leisurely ride. Upon getting my truck back and realizing how much gas had been spent, I also realized that there were 2 people riding around in my truck as everything that was sitting in my passenger seat was now in my console. Ive heard a few stories like this through the years that took place down in Charlotte. I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS CHAIN OF STORES AGAIN!!!

While visiting Meineke yesterday, I received an oil change. They also found a small issue with my vehicle that I didnt know about. The manager, Tim was very friendly and he was a prime example of what customer service should be like. The service guy who worked on my vehicle was friendly as well. I was very satisfied with my service upon leaving and if Im back in the area again and need another oil change...I will definitely be going back.

I’m leaving a bad review because I felt that it was very insensitive that none of the workers were wearing masks. This was including the front desk lady that was very close to me, and the people that were getting inside my car. No sanitization was used, and I honestly was considering reporting the place considering it is federal law to wear a mask in public places. As someone who has lost multiple people to the pandemic, I was really offended by the lack of care shown.

I had major car repairs done recently at Meineke Store #1917. I am very pleased with the service work and the staff that handled my issues were amazing. Heather and Tim are the best. They are personable, trustworthy, pleasant and really seem to care about the customer overall, not just about making money for the company. I have found a regular home for me car repairs and maintenance. I will not take my car any where else.

This place tried to rip me off by nearly $200 when I took my car there to get an estimate. I ended up taking the car to Mr. Tire instead and got the SAME work done for MUCH less. The staff at Meineke are nice, though, and patient. Not bad customer service just EXPENSIVE!!! Not worth the price.
