For $5 you get a good selection of food ranging from salad to pasta and pizza. No bad odors present at this time. I did visit during a busy lunch time during the week. The staff was strectched thin but came through. Best pizza ever? No but excellent value for your money.

Last week we decided to try this location out! Everything was great & VIP treatment. Attempted to on Friday went in and no buffet. No sign on the door or anything. A guy came out of the back to tell us the buffet has been taken down and will be put back up at 5pm since he was the only one working. Would have been nice to know there are certain times for the buffet. We drove a 1.5 hrs to this location, so we went to Selma & had a much better experience.

Great place to come and get your moneys worth. Under new management and a very friendly and accommodating staff. Come on out and get you all you can eat buffet. Clean establishment plenty of food and a good price! Sound good

We have a 7 year old grandson who loves this place so we are regulars. Every time I go I question why I keep coming back. Went Monday night beer was out of order. That I could live. We were there around 7pm. Pizza ALL looked like it had sat for hours. Cheese looked like dried glue. I got a few slices and didn’t eat. The only saving grace was our server who had kitchen make a pepperoni and mushroom. It seems unless you go as soon as they open or during a busy time then it’s just not possible to get a fresh pizza. And almost every time we go there are numerous tables not bussed yet they aren’t busy. I’ll be back like always. Just would be nice to get hot fresh pizza and a clean atmosphere.

They keep a nice selection of pizza and salad available on the buffet line. The pizza chef will even make specific pizza to put out on the line if you know what you want. I love a good pizza buffet and this is a good one.

Pizza Inn is one of my personal favorites, but this was my first time at the Garner location. The food was great (as usual) and the service was incredibly friendly! The building was obviously once a Golden Corral so it is very spacious. I had a salad and the veggie pizza, both were delish.

Loved the thin crust pepperoni pizza. Service is great and very attentive. Plentiful salad bar.

Very disappointed, the food didnt even taste like it was Pizza Inn. We also ordered a Chocolate chip pizzert to go but never got it (we werent charged for it either). I was going to ask my waitress about it but she went outside and sat in her car. If you want the good food and service you might expect from Pizza inn then this is not the one you want to go to.

I haven’t been to this location to eat but the curb appeal is horrible. Trash is everywhere around the dumpster, weeds growing everywhere, dead plants and grass. Mostly the trash littered around the dumpster is disgusting. I would love to try it but I can’t get myself to go inside!

This is the worst Pizza Inn we have ever visited. They sell Hot Ice Tea and COLD pizza😳We visited after lunch rush. It was really dirtytables,floors and buffet. We had to ask twice for waitress to wipe the table.There co2 was out so very limited drink options. Tea tasted weird. We request a pizza soon as we arrive because every pizza was cold. Then waitress never even put the order in for the cook to make fresh pizza had to ask a 2nd time and had to go find the waitress to ask for ice for the tea that was hot. It was Horrible wont be back to this location.

I highly recommend this location! They had plenty of options to choose from and I f we didn’t see something we were looking for..they made it right away and brought it straight out to our table!! The manager Rhonda... SHE IS AMAZING! Rhonda made us feel like family/friends she had none her whole life. The staff was very friendly and that’s just hard to come by nowadays.. You will not regret stopping by!! This will be our new go to pizza place from now on.

It was awesome did not know there was still one left in the seventies and eighties that was the place to go and Cary North Carolina still has the buff a same great pizza you gotta stop in at 42 highway and tried and if you missed it its there,come eat!!

My 14yr old received two pizzas and the dough was undercooked. It was delivered by door dash. When arrived I broke the seal and opened the box and pizza was clearly not completely done. I called the store to speak with a manager and he directed the responsibility of uncooked dough on Door Dash. Door dash delivers not cook the pizza. I immediately disconnected the call and decided to file a complaint with corporate. Since he as the manager did not see that a refund was appropriate.Corporate was my secondary plan of action. I am respectfully asking pizza Inn at 60 Son-Lan Pkwy, Garner, NC 27529 to refund my 14 year old daughters money. This all took place on 2/23/21 @ 2:56pm

Though the front staff was friendly and accommodating, there wasnt enough choices, the pizza I chose wasnt hot, the fixings for the salad not a lot to choose from.

Just moved here from Ohio, came at 3pm buffet is open during the day. Better than ccs, they have way more on the buffet and their ranch is amazing, dad approved they have beer, super kid friendly for 18 months to 8 years old. Our new regular spot for sure!!! We will be back weekly!

This Pizza Inn is under new management (Rhonda). Service was A plus!!! Pizza was hot and delicious. Staff and management definitely check on you throughout your meal. I’ll definitely be back.

I placed an order for a birthday just to get an email 30min later, and Im pulling up saying cannot be fulfilled due to the restaurant being closed or other circumstances. It says they are open until 9pm, but it looks closed down. There was another car that pulled in after we had and were confused to why it was randomly closed.

Got there an hour after they opened thinking I would see fresh pizza. That pizza and macaroni looked like it was leftovers from the previous day. The employees walked around with their masks below their chins. The tables didnt look like they had been cleaned. The place looks unsanitary. I had one slice then asked for the check. I explained to the lady up front what I saw and she apologized and said I didnt have to pay. Headquarters needs to check that place out ASAP.

Unfortunately this Pizza Inn is not on standard with Pizza Inns of old.We arrived at 215pm on a warm Saturday afternoon. Pizza on table looks like its been there since yesterday. Hot hogs shribbled up and looks like a corpses fingers. The bathrooms were not maintained and no towels in dispensers. Which is horrififying during this Covid 19 era.We actual had to ask for fresh foodto be prepared. The Manager (Black Shirt female) wore no mask. I could go on but I think you get the idea.Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

My family and I went in for lunch today and the food and service was superior! Pizza was replenished regularly and our drinks were refilled before the last one was done! Krystal and Rhonda were helpful and genuinely wanted the 7 of us to have a fantastic dining experience! We cannot wait to all go back!

First, let me say that the staff at this location are always very nice and greet you when you come in the door. However, the quality of the food at this location has gone downhill fast. The last 2 pizzas I have ordered barely had any sauce on them. The crust is different that it used to be. Its no longer crispy and the quality of the pizza is just not what it used to be.

Was pleased to see the food is improving at this location! A waiter named Alex was such a joy and super helpful with a genuine heart. I think if you are in the area you should visit here! They do need updated fixtures etc but the nice people and much better food makes up for it.

I ordered a pizza without olives for pickup. When we went to pick it up it had olives so it had to be remade. When I got home and opened the box it still wasnt right. They were definitely having an off night.

You can tell that this place used to be a Golden Corral. Quite a nice place as all Pizza Inns are.

We came for food, and stayed for the service. We are especially fond of the pizzerts, Ask for the Bavarian cream, its to die for. I like the taco pizza. They have a great salad bar, and their wings are delicious. What topped the whole experience for us was the service we got. Jacob was very attentive, and bent over backwards for us. Ask to be put in his section, you will not be disappointed. A splendid time is guaranteed for all.

I placed my order through Postmates and unfortunately my pizza was swapped with another person’s on accident. I called the store and the manager was awesome! He replaced my small pizza with a medium and a new dessert pizza as well. When I arrived to pick up the pizza, I noticed the cook was working hard and running that kitchen like a pro so I wasn’t really sure how the quality was going to be. Get home and this is by far the BEST pizza I have ever gotten from Pizza Inn. Yes it sucked the original pizza was messed up but they more than made up for it! The manager was very nice and accompanied And that cook deserves a raise and should be on the training team for cooks because he did an amazing job.

Had the best experience today at pizza inn. Rhonda and Krystal were marvelous. Will definitely be coming back and bringing friends with me

Friendly staff, grate food for a good price!! Highly recommend going. I took my kids on Sybil the clowns night and they had a blast with free face paintings and balloon animals. My kids and I loved our experience here and will be coming back!! Thank you!

Our waitress Lizzie & general manager of the pizza inn was wonderful! I definitely will be going back. The food was delicious & the service we got was wonderful! Everyone is so friendly & inviting!

I always place my orders ahead of time by at least an hour and theyre never ready. Food is fine but the service makes me not want to go. Last time I went they were out of what I wanted, didnt tell me, sent me off with a different pizza, and then gave me attitude about getting a refund.

This location is under new management, and not a moment too soon. I was finally very pleased and satisfied at this location. The host, waiters and management were the best. Made me feel right at home. Food was hot, fresh, and plentiful. I would recommend that if you havent been in a while, come on back. Its worth it.

There’s a new sheriff in town at this restaurant and they are cleaning up some things for the better. I see great potential with this restaurant and much growth ahead. Thank you to our wonderful waiter who treated us with great southern hospitality and to the new manager who made us feel like royalty thank you as well. My Family and I will definitely be back soon.

This place is off the chart with food and customer service. You can go anywhere and probably get good pizza but the service is off the charts. They bend over backwards to ensure you are extremely satisfied with your choices.

Really amazed by this Pizza Inn as the staff is fantastic! Although we walked in at 8:15pm (they stop serving buffet at 9pm), they ensured us that we had plenty of time to eat and that the food would be available as long as we were there. The manager, Robert, asked us multiple times if there was anything he could fix us that wasn’t already on the buffet. Great experience!

Things are really improving over there, Krystal the daytime manager went above and beyond creating new things for the customers. Rhonda was also awesome checking on us during the visit.

Love coming here with the kids. Its never too busy and always can be seated right away. The pizza is already hot and fresh off course because its cooked regularly.On the other hand, the pasta bar the food is never hot hot just warm and sometimes cold.Overall great place and staff.

I love Pizza Inn, but the first time we went to this one, it was pitiful. The pizza bar wasnt well stocked, and the service was flat. I chalked it up to an off night. Tonight we went again and literally with half the place empty, the server said he was going to have to clear a table. It was only 5:30 on a Saturday night, and all the tables were messy and filled with previous customers plates and cups and crumbs everywhere. The pizza bar was better stocked this time. When we got back to the table he told us to go to, it was still messy. We had to go to a booth and clean it ourselves. The service was still flat. No pleasantries or personality. When we left, the owner was checking out and handed me back my card and receipt without saying anyting. No goodbye, no thank you... nothing. I guess that speaks to why the service is so flat. I rarely write reviews, but had to comment on this place.

Reasonable price for all-you-can-eat pizza. Plus salad and soup. Staff VERY friendly. Pizza is mediocre in quality, but Customizable, and the staff brings it to your table. WILL come again!

The 2 stars are for the young waitress who was the only one working when we went on a Saturday evening at 6:00 and was doing the best she could. The pizzas that were out when we got there were all cold. It seemed like they put one new one out every 15-20 minutes. We saw more pizzas being put in delivery boxes than on the buffet. We saw a family of 7 come in around 6:30, take one look at the (empty) buffet, and leave. Ive heard the Pizza Inn in Smithfield is much better than this one. Next time, well make the drive.

I had a wonderful time here myself as a chef had a wonder experience here Ronda & Becky & Corey were amazing I have never been to a pizza in better than the one in garner second time here and food was very fresh and hot I recommend this place to everyone that wants to have a great pizza in a fun and friendly environment

I know it is covid 19 time, but the buffet was old. I mean so old you could knock the garlic bread on the table. We did ask for them to put out some fresh options and they did. Fresh pizza was that good southren pizza I grew up on. Lol. Kids enjoyed the game room.

I believe the new mgt has made a decent turn around of this place. Its actually enjoyable to go and dine there. Though I see a few areas that can make improvements, I feel as if the vector they are on is great and they will make this place an easy 5-Star. I will update in time.

This pizza inn has not been up to par compared to others but there has been a change in management and it is hoped that this will turn things around. It is a good change and I wish them all good wishes in making this a wonderful place. It is not a change that happens overnight but this is a great step in the right direction.

This may sound crazy, but when I go to a pizza buffet, I have an expectation that pizzas will be available, instead of a row of empty trays. It was the start of dinner time, and there was no food. I couldnt take all the kids crying about being hungry, even though I understood their frustrations, so I ate a few bread sticks and left.

Made a BBQ chicken pizza at our request and it was amazing. Brought 3 slices on a plate to my table. Great service, clean food environment.

What a difference since the last visit and in a good way, pizzas were hot/fresh and if there was a pizza or dessert we wanted that wasnt out we didnt even have to ask because they were asking us if they could made something for us..really liked that! And the salad bar was very good.lots to choose from.

Large facility was surprising. Really large salad bar well stocked with salad stuff and dressings. Nice selection of pizzas (7 different pies) and pizerts. Anyone can find something they like here. Spotlessly clean and extremely attentive staff makes this a great lunch location.

Good pizza. Huge buffet. This as an old Golden Corral converted to a Pizza Inn. Always has a large variety of pizzas and pastas on the buffet. I really like the giant salad bar. This place is perfect for a group especially if you have kids. I highly recommend it as a great stop on the way to the beach or as a local place for families, little league team dinners, and anytime for family fun!

This is the nicest, cleanest, and most friendly Pizza Inn Ive been to. It was obviously a former Golden Corral, so both the seating area and the buffet are huge. If you like Pizza Inn, this is the one to go to.

We ate at this location on Thursday Feb. 8 and had a great experience. The food selection was great, and the service was great as well. We spoke with the manager Joe, and he was very friendly and helpful. The dinner rush was handled very well by the staff. We had been several times in the past, and it was not always this smooth but they have made improvements. Highly recommended!

This restaurant does not have its stuff together. There were only a few customers including my family. The only two waitresses decided to sit down and eat together while we were there. Leaving me too clean our table. Pizza was old. No new pizza was put out our whole visit. No dessert pizza we had to wait 20 minutes longer than we wanted to stay to wait for pizza and there were no customers. Dont go here. Manager was made aware and did nothing.

The restaurant is an old Golden Corral that they have changed into Pizza Inn. So its not laid out as good as the newer Pizza Inns. Its no problem though. Service was fantastic today and they asked me a ore than once if I wanted special pizzas on the buffet. We requested taco pizza and it was honestly the best taco pizza of all the Pizza Inns I have visited. I will be returning to this location when I am out in the 40/42 area again.

The selection of pizza was so so. For it being a Friday lunch there wasnt a whole lot to choose from. I was in the mood for some fruit to go with my lunch. I chose the fruit salad from the salad bar because I thought it would be refreshing. However I was sad to find out at my first bite that the fruit was spoiled. The salad was old and starting the fermenting process. The ice cream machine was also out of cones which disappointed my son. And the final disappointment was in the pineapple dessert pizza. Out of the four slices we had at our table three of the slices had pineapple that tasted just awful. It wasnt sour and delicious like a pineapple should be. It was rather sour and bitter and almost tasted like a vegetable. Our server was great! She was very attentive and helpful with whatever our group needed. Unfortunately, on this trip the food was a major letdown.

I shouldnt even give this one star. It was Hot in there, ALL the pizza on the buffet was cold. I took one bite and requested a fresh pizza. They put out a fresh pepperoni that had zero taste. After literally 2 bites of pizza (one cold one hot)we left.

This place is wonderful. I loved the service and atmosphere. The music was uplifting and the food was great! My only complaint. . . . I felt like I had robbed them when I left because the all-you-can eat buffet was priced so low. You have to patronize a place that reverences God, knows how to treat its customers and cares about your pocketbook. Hats off to the Pizza Inn in Garner, NC.

My wife and I ate there Monday. Their cook cut his hand, started sucking the blood from his thumb, the went back into the kitchen and food prep area without cleaning the cut properly. Then he proceeded to use the kitchen cloths and supplies to clean his cut. Never used a band aid or any sanitary methods. He continued to bleed throughout the dinning area and kitchen. While this was happening, my wife caught another man in the kitchen picking his nose multiple times. We have witnessed enough to lose our appetites and immediately discussed this with the manager. He was a nice guy who comped our meal, but we will NEVER return, and do not encourage others to visit!!! This was a gross experience and I do not feel comfortable eating in such a place. DO NOT GO THERE!!!!

I came around lunch time and the server was awesome. My group wanted pizza that wasnt already on the buffet bar and she got the cooks to make some and brought a couple slices to our table when it was ready. I personally love the chocolate and chocolate chip pizza

Obviously we did not pick a great day to visit. I know that you cannot do anything about crime that goes on near your establishment, however, we had just arrived at the restaurant prior to the situation involving the stolen truck occurred. As anyone would be, the waitress was very nervous and scared, but tried her best to serve us, however, I believe that a manager should have had a visible presence, which I never did see. The pizza on the buffet was old, and looked as if it had been sitting there for hours, was the first problem. When I noticed that there was a salad and pasta bar, I said I would make a second trip for it. When I had gotten up for the second trip, both the salad bar and the pasta bar were closed. When I asked the waitress why they took the food away, she said oh were closed, and youre not allowed to leave (due to the situation). At most, she or a manager could have came to our table to let us know that they would be closing early and that we needed to get whatever else we wanted before they took it away, however it seemed as if all of the staff was more concerned with what was going on outside (situation was under control). Despite not having the opportunity to fully experience the restaurant and what it had to offer, we were still expected to pay full price, which i do not feel like we received our moneys worth since they took the food away. I can understand how they might not make anymore food because they couldnt accommodate any more customers, but what about the customers who were already dining there? Did they really have to take the food away? It was clear to me that the situation didnt really effect the kitchen staff, because they were outside the kitchen eating food in clear sight, as if there were no customers in the restaurant. Again unprofessional.

The pizza was good and the prices were reasonable. Our waitress was attentive but not overbearing. The only issue I had was the limited amount of choices for the buffet.

I had a positive experience here ordering take out. The young man who greeted me and took my order was very polite. I asked for my chocolate chip pizza to be cooked in a specific way, and they nailed it. They didn’t mind my pickiness at all. That level of customer service is what gets them 5 stars in my book!

I called from Raleigh some guy said buffet on till 10 walked in door at 9:04 several staff talked to each other then said buffet closed at 9, no wonder there was only 2 people in this huge place. Good job pizza inn.after seeing so many bad reviews I guess I should not be surprised.

I go here every now and then. Its good food but I like to place my order in advance and then go pick it up. Unfortunately their system seems to never work. I always end up having to call in. They should really get that fixed or disable the online ordering.
