Unless your a big time race team or have tons of money he doesnt want to work on it, but hell sure as hell take your parts and money. Hes had $7000 worth of my parts for 4 months without returning a call. Hes told me hes had engines sitting for almost two years because he keeps getting more important work inStay away from this ponzi scheme if you ever want to see your parts again

Builds faulty motors as of late! Was great the first year we used them, this past year not so much 😡 4000,00 in labor alone just for the motor to seize during hot laps 1st time out! This is the 3rd time in less than a month!! Done with this place🤦🏻‍♀️

I have some mixed emotions about this place. I have about 30 years of experience when it comes to building engines and being in the automotive repair industry. I have come across my fair share of unique people during that timeframe. That being said, I want emphasize the word unique with the variable of people being absolutely full of baloney and or those that are incredibly smart and well educated & skilled in the art of building performance engines. To say it bluntly there is a reason why crew chiefs get paid for their performance and possess notoriety. The knowledge they have ascertained throughout the years of being on racing teams and formulated the process to put your car in the winner circle. So about the mixed emotions, I was referred to this place by other Gearheads at local classic car cruise inns. I wanted a quality machine shop to assist in doing a few repairs to my existing engine. Word of mouth advertising is quintessential here. They do not have any signage out in front of the shop to even identify this facility as a racing machine shop or for that matter just a machine shop. I went in on my initial consult to discuss the problems that I was having with a performance engine. Right away I knew that I was in the company of a knowledgeable person. Keep in mind that when knowledgeable people who share the same interests engage in an in-depth engine building conversations, there are always some opposing views or better known as conflicting knowledge. Most times these are learning / teaching moments. You are absolutely able to broaden the spectrum of knowledge. The biggest problem I found here is that There is a significant amount of condescension here which makes you question your own acquired knowledge. This inturn develops a rather on easy feeling when the question of trust comes into play. Now if you want quality engine work done then I would suggest this place. That is only based on what I have observed here. The shop is set up with some of the most advanced machining equipment for accurate machine work to be completed. There staff appears to be incredibly knowledgeable with their skills. There is a dynometer on site to test and tune completed engines. This place is not one that you can be frugal with you money. You are coming to have someone perform a quality task and you have to find a balance on whether repairing your existing components are worth it or just buying a replacement. In my case I have always been able to access this equipment and have done a number of these tasks myself. Therefore it is hard for me to cough up the about of money this facility wanted to meet the end goal. I did elect to have a few things completed for future builds. It was a little disappointed that they dont offer a military discount but when asked they did verbally express their appreciation, that recognition alone speaks volumes. In closing, understand what you want and what your end goal is, be prepared to release the locks on your cash to achieve your expectations. Know that what is completed here fine attention to detail is expressly utilized with every task. When you get it back it will be right.
