Shannon in the salon is amazing! I went to her after reading her reviews, Im new in town and was hesitant, but she nailed my new look!! She listens very well to what is and isnt said about what youre looking for! Ill definitely be back!

I went to the Hair Salon and received excellent color, cut, and conditioning treatment. My hair is much softer. I also bought some perfume by Gucci called Bloom which is excellent fragrance. For every dollar you spend you get a point until you have 100 points and get $3.00 off your next purchase.

I normally go to the Ulta in Charlotte but I recently moved to mt holly and decided to check it out. It was a big mistake. I was followed around the store by one of the associates who I’m assuming thought I was stealing. There was only one person in the store who was actually nice and helped me when I had questions. I’ve always had positive experiences at Ulta so this was really disappointing. Will not return

Shannon in the salon is AMAZING! I told her that I wanted some fun color but didnt know exactly what I wanted. She gave me the perfect hair! She had just the right ideas for what to do. She also noticed something on my scalp that I might need to keep an eye on. She went above and beyond what she had to do and couldnt be happier! GO SEE SHANNON!!!!

I cannot recommend Shannon in the salon enough! I have been looking for a local stylist for years now and I have finally found her here. I caused a lot of color damage to my hair by using at home toners and Shannon is so knowledgeable she was able to correct the color issue and not only achieve beautiful color by the time I left my appointment, but she also did it in such a way to give me amazing long term results!

Shannon at Ulta Salon is the best! She has been able to color correct and get the results I want every time. She uses the latest techniques, makes great recommendations, and knows the best products. Her signature haircut is amazing.

Good selection but every time I request curbside, I either end up having to call or walk in after sitting in my car for 15+ minutes. Yes, I’m pressing the I’m here button!

Today’s experience was definitely low on the customer satisfaction scale. I did have a very helpful store employee that tried to assist me in finding the hairspray that I was looking for, however the store was out of the supply and she informed me it could be ordered or and shipped to my house for free today. She told me to just let the cashier know to place the order. When I went up to the cashier I placed my purchase on the counter and told her that I was also wanting to place an order for the same product in a different style. She never acknowledged my comment and rang up my one item. When I looked down at the receipt reader it had another item listed and when I asked her about it she said it’s not on your receipt it’s already been crossed off, her comment actually sounded rude when she said it. Then she walked away from the counter while I was in the process of swiping my card and once she returned I said I’m not sure if you heard me but I did wanna place an order at which time She told me that had to be done in a separate transaction. Why did she not just tell me this when I initially asked her about it instead of having me question whether or not she heard me the first time. At that point I just said the customer service is not so great today so I will just order it online from another distributor. She handed me my receiptAnd I left. She didn’t say sorry you feel that way, please let me help you by placing the order, nothing which is the reason for my comments about for customer service.

Staff was very helpful today. Had three different employees help me and all were very knowledgeable!

If you order perfume or anything online and your item is damage or looks like someone has swapped it out for a empty bottle they will not fix the problem. They will tell you I would love to help but they will not do anything to fix the problem. No matter if you come with video, photos or proof of your purchase they still will not fix the problem.......I GUESS WAIT AND SEE WHAT THE BIG MAN GOING TO DO BECAUSE THE LITTLE WOMAN will not fix the problem.

Just moved to the area and I’m so glad I found Shannon at the salon. She took her time and really listened to what I wanted for my hair and made some great suggestions to give me a perfect cut and color. It’s also nice to get a quiet appointment on a Sunday! It’s like I had VIP treatment!

Donoven is hands down my favorite stylist I have ever had the pleasure of letting touch my hair. I came in for a clarifying and repairing treatment from my failed attempts of toning my blonde. Donoven offered to trim and (what made me so much happier) didnt cut all that could have been cut; but said we can take a bit off with each visit to prevent me from having such a drastic change in length. Donoven recommended products for me to use at home between visits; and clearly knows their products, and what will work best with different hair types since he gave multiple recommendations to others during My visit. My hair looks and feels so much better; I cannot wait to see the transformation after my next visit!

I went today to return a foundation before the 30 day grade period and was informed that actually went have 60 days!!!! So now I know if u get a product u dont like or isnt the right shade etc. U have 60 days to exchange so u dont have to sit on the wrong make up and let it waste!!!! Yes so if u bought something and dont like it, take it back even if u dont have receipt or the box/package, just take it back and get what u need!!!! Great to know because make up is not cheap lol...

Donoven is a life saver!!! I am normally very chill about my hair. I figure no matter what it will always grow back. Doesn’t matter if it’s a bad haircut or bad color job. But I had to eat my own words recently! I received a horrible haircut and cried the whole day. The next morning I went to Ulta and they gave me an appointment with Donoven. He was so sweet and wonderful!! I literally danced out of the store and across the parking lot after my appointment!! He is amazing! He is the only person I’m gonna let touch my hair from now on! The store itself it wonderful too! I buy all my Urban Decay from them!!

I have been coming in this store for the past year and shopped as recent as yesterday! 1/23/2021. I am unable to wear a mask and have NEVER had an issue until NOW when your Manager wants to play God talking about a mandate. She needs to understand the difference and know what a mandate is! DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!

Made an online order and the people there, specifically the “manager” was talking to me like I was dumb & made a couple of smart remarks towards me when we ran into a problem on the order.

Wife always sends me on wild goose chases for makeup or moisturizers and you name it. I have no clue where to look. I just show an associate a picture of what I need and they bring me right to all of them everytime with no complaint, at least while I am there. Thank you to them.

I watched the Miracle Worker the other day and was shocked that it was not a documentary on the amazing work that Shannon has done for my hair for the past six years. She is gift to her trade. Helen Keller and Annie Sullivan need to watch out, Shannon is gunning for your title.

I spent a little over sixty dollars for random things. The lady at the counter stared at my stuff as if it was “not good enough” or whatever you even want to call it. As if that was not enough, she even gave me a tiny bag. It was my first time at an ulta, not again.

The sales staff was overly pushy.

3 stars because I love coming here and buying my products but (some) - & I need this to be emphasized because I also have gotten wonderful customer service from ladies here - of the women who work there look and act absolutely miserable. Instead of seeing if anyone needs assistance they are too busy playing on their phones or fixing their own makeup.

I absolutely love this store. And couldnt really say anything bad about it except they needed more cashiers working due to the number of customers in the store.

To begin, my daughter had a style change and Shannon was patient and meticulous in her approach to changing the style. The end result was perfect. Then, my elderly mom needed a trim and Shannon once again came through with her kind manner and precise haircutting.

Place is very nice. Multiple people offered me help when I needed it.

I never gave Ulta Beauty a second look until I was diagnosed with breast cancer and stopped wearing makeup. I found toxin free products online but didnt want to wait for shipping. Then I went to Ulta Beauty and found toxin free products that really meet my expectations. I dont NEED makeup. I just like it. Thank you, Ulta Beauty.

Staff were short and rude in this location. Also the selection is smaller than in the Steele Creek location. I specifically went looking for Coco Chanel perfume and they dont carry the brand at all - despite it being one of the most popular perfumes on the market period. Really weird. The Steele Creek location carries it though.

The young lady who helped me offered suggestions and was great. I am sorry that I dont remember her name. Her suggestion was exactly what I was looking for and I am happy with my selection..she even offered me a less expensive option!

My experience at this particular Ulta was one of my best, out of all of the Ulta that Ive been to. the staff here is so friendly and helpful with each question that I had. they were able to answer and help me with all my beauty needs. I recommend this store very highly! they get a two thumbs up and a woohoo for friendliness.

I picked up an order via curbside but had to wait awhile due to a miscommunication but when the girl brought it out she was very apologetic and friendly.

To be honest, I spent less than 5 minutes in the place.Just long enough to grab a few lungfulls of Cool Air.However, My Wife loves the place.So much so that after visiting the nearby Vitamin Shop, (Just across the parking lot) I had plenty of time to explore the fishing section of Dicks Sporting Goods . Though I have come to develop quite a distaste for the expression, it was indeed a Win Win ! Lol .

I went in yesterday looking for a new foundation as none of mine seemed to be giving the longevity I need. I wish I would have gotten her name but a lovely employee listened to my concerns and suggested a primer to try under my makeup before I go buying yet ANOTHER brand of foundation. She gave me the option to try it under my current foundations and if it didn’t work, gave me the option to bring it back. Well, it worked! And her willingness to solve my issue rather than sell me on the newest product has me feeling more confident to reach out for advice in the future!

HAD coupons from Sunday paper. Shopped what i wanted and what was on coupon. It was the Ulta Beauty coupon. At the registered coupons did not work because something going on with the registered. Wasted my time and efforts shopping with Ulta and manager did not honor nor show Good Faith for my time and coupon. Havent shopped there since.......

Found all my beauty needs right here in one place. the friendly staff was so helpful to mention tips and ideas for a product that I had never tried before. I just love my new 2 + 1 eyebrow pencil from Urban Decay and their primer was totally awesome, took away the flaws underneath my eyes where my makeup was looking a little too flaky. They will even help you with all kinds of Beauty tips and show you ideas on hows the best way to put on the makeup to make your face makeup look fabulously natural and not fake.

Ulta Rewards are fantastic! The store is clean but hardly ever stocked with the items on sale. The staffs attention is hit and miss. Everyone is young which is discouraging when asking recommendations on products for mature skin needs. It needs some versatility to better serve its customer base.

Ive always had a pleasant shopping experience when visiting ulta but the quickly change 4/15/2019. I was looking for a certain product and as soon as I came in I felt eyes on me automatically. I was assisted with what I needed but when I finished with what I was looking for, I seen the girl speak into the microphone on her shirt as if letting others know all is clear. I instantly felt unappreciated as a customer and profiled as well. I shouldnt feel this way at all.

First time Ive ever went today and I didnt know there was a heaven on Earth. Every consultant was sweet and helpful. I got my brows done and found my foundation shade.

Incredibly dissatisfied with my prom hair and makeup. However, one of my friends had an appointment with Scotti and she did an amazing job. All in all, it depends on which employee you get stuck with...I don’t see how some of the employees at this particular location even work there at all.

I had brow treatment by an amazing girl (Hannah), and her co-worker. We had the most fun. I love those girls and they are good at their work.

I’m always disappointed when I go into Ulta. I go in for hard to find, specific products. I always try to go in with a coupon because I know Ulta’s products are always high priced. Every single time, no matter the product-“sorry that coupon doesn’t apply to high end products.” I go there less and less and try amazon more and more because what’s the point in having coupons if they apply to the bare minimum of their products. Don’t get me wrong, I know some products are pricey and always will be, but $3.50 off $15. I have a $64 dollar order. Guess Ulta can’t afford to lose the 3.50$. I know they have the points system and that gives you dollars off your total, but in 2/3 years I earned maybe 15$ total. So much for rewards.

Had a 2 pm appointment for my daughter ( hair and makeup) still sitting here at 4 waiting on her. Hair looks “OK”makeup is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. I have never been so unhappy for my daughter ( did I mention her prom starts at 8).

I had a wonderful shopping experience. There were 2 different employees who helped me when I had questions about product recommendations, and if they could recommend less expensive but comparable products, and helped me find what I needed. Very polite, super helpful, and the selection of products is huge.

They have ALL kinds of makeup, hair care, nail care, all around beauty products! Most of which arent expensive, especially the Ulta brand products. They even have a full service salon in the back and the beauty experts on the right side of the store (where the high end makeup is located). Highly recommended for all the beauties out there!

A terrific gal who took the time to find all the items I was looking for. She was a knowledgeable on several brands, and if an item was unavailable, she found an excellent substitute.

The website speaks highly of their salon workers, so i Drove an hour to get there. The lady was really nice. Three hours later....my hair looks exactly the same as it did when I went in there. For some people that may be ok, but I wanted something different. lets just say I was highly disappointed. I will not be going back to the salon.

First of all, Leslie and Lori are awesome. This is directed to the lady checking me out. I had a coupon for a free perfume. I hadnt realized that it was for Sephora. I put a my merchandise up on the counter, handed her the perfume card to get the perfume, and she rang me up. I noticed my amount was higher than expected when I went out. I looked and shed charged me for the perfume! I walked back in and this is before I knew that the coupon was for Sephora. I told her she charged me for the perfume and she said that coupon was for Sephora. Well, why didnt you say that instead of ringing me up and not telling me that, when I explicitly said I have a fragrance coupon for this!!! I was livid!

Great customer service

Told my wife it was probably going to take three visits to do her hair and total cost of around $600!!!! Really for hair dye. She ended up going to another beauty salon. They was able to do in two visits and it looks great and only charged her $200 total $100 per visit
