Gage is our favorite pool store. Not only do they have every product you may need to maintain or repair your pool or spa but they also have a lot of fun accessories. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We purchased a house with a pool almost 2 yrs ago. It was our first time being pool owners. The pool had been neglected by the previous home owners and looked and smelled like a swamp. Brent helped walk us through beautifying our pool and getting the water clear again. His expertise and patience with us during all of our questions and dozen of visits, were so appreciated.

They are really awesome!! They came out and found the leak quickly and repaired it fast at a reasonable price, really thankful I found them! They also came out faster than anyone else could by 4-5 daysI plan on using Gage Pool & Spa for all our pool needs from now on!

Gage is good for water sample test and buying supplies in store, but they lack in timeliness, communication, and customer service when it comes to home appointments for equipment repair and replacement. They do not give you a time window or call ahead on the day of the appointment so they can arrive any time between 8AM and 7PM. The first visit they arrived shortly after 6PM which equals a day wasted if you have to take time off work. But thats not the worst of it. On the scheduled day to replace a salt cell we did not even get the pleasure of them showing up. Just a phone call after 7PM saying they ran over on another job and would be there the next day. When we called the next day to confirm we were advised we were on the list, but still no time frame, so its another day of waiting. Update on day two. We received a call again after 7PM that they would not be arriving. They said tomorrow, again. Well see...

Bought a new home, the lady that previously owned the home told us about this company. So we decided to give them a shot. On the day that was scheduled for service (we took the day off from work) we called them several of times and they kept saying that they were coming and would be here after 5pm. As time went on they never showed up and didnt call. Two days later while at work received a phone call saying they were on their way to my house to do my pool. We stayed home all day and wasted time waiting on them. We gave them another chance and scheduled a month in advance. Again no call/no show. If you see this company run,run, run. Never again.

These guys know what theyre talking about. They dont seem to be trying to sell you something you dont need. I had a lot of questions about pools with the understanding that I wouldnt be buying one at this time. They spent a lot of time helping me and explaining the things that I needed to know

This company was a let down. I scheduled them out twice and they did a no call/no show. The first time I did not hear anything from them (after staying home all day waiting....) until two days after my scheduled appointment saying that they were on the way to repair my pool. The second time I scheduled a month in advance and they still did not make the scheduled appointment nor did they call. I had to call them the next day and cancelled my work order. They did not try to retify the situation. This is unacceptable and poor business practices. I would not recommend using this company

Absolutely horrible experience. Hired them to open our pool. They charged $400 and the job was not completed properly at all!! We called them back because they did not vacuum. They pulled the tarp off and through some salt and chemicals and left. Called them complaining about the horrible job so they came back out and charged us again for completing the job we had already paid an arm and leg for. Would not recommend this company! Absolutely awful company!!!

Went in today to purchase a new pool. After I walked in, a man walked in behind me. I was completely ignored by the sales person and she proceeded to help the man that came in behind me without even acknowledging I was there, nor did the other sales person that was there helping another customer. I waited about 5 minutes for someone to at least acknowledge my presence. I finally left....my money is good anywhere. Leslies just got themselves a $3000 sale.

Small non corporate place. Owned locally and surprisingly have allot of parts for allot of different pool systems. Went to few other places they had nothing what I need. Strongly recommend not to waste your time and come here first before you check anywhere else. Thank you Gage Pool & Spa, LLC owners for having a store and service like this in Charlotte area A+++++

Very small store. But family owned. Just ask if you need anything, as they may have it in back. They also service pools!

Over the last 30 years we have had Gage pools to put in 2 in ground liners for our pool...we have never had any problems..we love going there and Brent is always very helpful..

The female receptionist or secretary that answers the phones there is very rude and has a bad attitude.(just call their office if you dont believe me) She gave off the wall prices that it could cost to have pool repaired/opened/closed etc. I have used them twice for service and no longer will use them. The workers seem to do a decent job, but do yourself a favor and find pool services elsewhere.

We moved to new house over the winter, the existing pool had been closed for at least 2 years possibly 3. Either way the pool was NASTY you could not even see the bottom step. After a series of water samples, after each of which they gave me an action plan and the chemicals needed to do the job, My pool is crystal clear! All in the time frame of 2 weeks. They took an absolute rookie like me and gave me the instruction and supplies needed to make my pool look GREAT! They defiantly know there stuff.

Have used them for 20 years a d while their prices are extremely high they always did good work. They have become horrible and work is not done qell.Use anyone else, the prices can not be higher or work any worse.

If you want great service and professional this is not the company for you. Incompetence liar they tell customer they need a drop cord because their equipment cleaning pool vacuum does not reach at any point they never mention it was customer equipment but The Manager Chantelle try to justified their action by stating it was for customer equipment so insulting to think customers are that ignorant and will not see the scam!!!! They trying to take advantage since Saturday they had not accomplished In cleaning the pool and they think is okay to charge for it. When you get hired to clean a pool and is not done you do not get paid Upper-ground pool should not take this long to clean were hired to provide a cleaning pool service your company did not comply. It does take a week. CUSTOMER BEWARE! They have high fees and workers do not do their jobYour response is 100 percent a lie and the Job was not done so Customer Beware you did not rendered what you got hired for.

BUYER BEWARE! We needed to have a part replaced and were quoted a price of $80, when the bill came it was $120. They came to open the pool for the season, threw in some salt, replaced the part and charged us $500. That did NOT include cleaning the pool, which we assumed would be part of opening the pool. Their prices are ridiculous and when we called to ask about the excessive bill the owner hung up on us. We will never use them again. Horrible service, excessive prices and rude management.

When my other pool guy would not show up nor return my phone calls, after I had already paid him in full. I went to Gage. They got me going and I will trust my pool to them from now on.

It is amazing to me how little this company cares about their customers. We have purchased a liner and any parts or equipment we needed for several years with no incident.We called for a repair to the liner, as I expected at this time of the year they were backed up and I had to schedule a week out, no problem. They were suppose to be at my house at 3:30 and called at 3:15 to say their technician was too hot and couldnt make it. I was fine with that and said we could schedule for the next day seeing that I was next on the schedule for repairs. I WAS TOLD I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER WEEK - I HAD BEEN PLACED ON THE BOTTOM OF THEIR SCHEDULE.This is ridiculous, if you cancel with a customer for having to deal with a problem at your business, they should be moved to the top of the list for the next day. When I told them this I was told I dont care if you have to wait Rude, Ridiculous, Uncaring business - I will make sure I tell everyone I know not to use this company

Good people, very helpful with questions and service

Gage Pool And Spa went out of the way to save the day for me. I could not run the pool pump because of an oring problem. My grandkids were coming in for the holidays and that meant no hot tub! Warren Davidson, Tech Assist., went to the store at 7:00 PM on the holiday schdule and took care of me. That was service beyond the call of duty. By the way the grands had a great time in the hot tub over Christmas.
