Why are your bags 7lbs now and cost more? Your totally taking advantage of people. Absolutely ridiculous!!!
I have been trying to get information from Reddy Ice for over 60 days. We have an event coming up and will need to purchase a large amount of ice. Ive called every other day for two months, just to get pricing.Every time, I am told they will call me back. My first call was made in the month of May. They finally did call back once, on Friday July 3rd, after 3pm in the afternoon and I had gone for the holiday weekend. Instead of calling back on Monday, they just closed the ticket as no one there knew anything about it. Well, of course not. Our bartenders didnt call them. The office Admin did. Might be beneficial to make your return call to the person who initially placed the call to you.This company must not need our business, they have made that very plain by not returning calls and not having someone available to speak with. The phone reps tell me that they are only trained to get the info and someone must call us back. 60 days wasted. Move along and place your ice orders with a company that ACTUALLY wants your business. I only gave them one star because negative stars are not an option.
I would rather give NO STARS!!I work for a local commercial landscape company located in Charlotte, NC. We have been a customer of ReddyIce since they bought out BigSky in 2008. We never had major issues until last summer. Since the company changed over to a new ordering/delivery system last summer, our service has been all but non-existent! Especially during the 90 degree(+) time of the season. Last summer was a complete nightmare just trying to get a delivery. Everytime I called I would be talking to a customer service rep in a different location of the COUNTRY everytime I called. I was told my delivery is On Schedule but would have to call the next day since it never arrived.This year it seemed that they finally got the ordering/customer service issue under control. All I had to do was call the automated service and an order was put in and delivered within 2 days. PERFECT, right!! Well that only lasted while our temperatures were under 90 degrees.I had ordered ice through the automated service at the end of May (2016), expecting a deliver the first week of June. I called Monday May 30th to confirm we were on schedule and was told yes. I almost every day until we received a delivery on June 10th. I call first thing Monday June 13th to make sure we would get another delivery since temperatures were in the high 90s. I called every day, sometimes twice a day, until June 21st, when we received our next delivery. At this point I am beyond frustrated since I had been told over and over again that we are set up for weekly delivery and yes you will have a delivery.June 29th, 2016, we have not received a delivery since the 21st. I have called every day since the 16th. I have talked to 2 supervisors. Still no ice and NO guarantee we will get a delivery anytime soon.We are getting quotes from other companies.The Saga continues!! 7/26/2016Though we had these delivery issue worked out or at least it seemed as if we did for about 3 weeks. Was finally seeing a weekly delivery on Mondays as requested and made sure to inform Rep that we only had 6 bags of ice AND our region is in 100 degree + heat index. Well yesterday there was NO delivery even though I had a Supervisor confirm we were on schedule and the truck was still out delivering. Came into work this morning and theres no ice. Spent 40 minutes on the phone AFTER I left work trying to find out what was going on and another 50 minutes on the phone this morning. Still NO guarantee I will be getting ice today. FLIPPING RIDICULOUS! I have NO idea how this company is still in business.
By far the worst company service ever! Called 5 times and everytime our service call was closed out... NO ONE every showed up. Worst service ever.
I had placed an order for Ice Bags since June 26th which is past 7 days and i was told everytime i called the company that we will escalate your order but till today July 4th i have not received an order. The company is also situated locally in Lowell. Terrible and lousy service.
Reddy Ice is the best bagged ice hands down.
Can get bulk ice but this business is dying unless they find a way to match the ice dispenser price
