Had an amazing time at one of my favorite stores! Jane and Kristen made my birthday complete with a customized style session. I always love the selection and treasures I find. Jane has an eye for fashion and fit. You won’t take something home unless it fits well. She strives for excellence!! Thanks Ladies!

The owner of this store was rude and not considerate to guests. She would not wear a mask even though all the shoppers will. The used items are much overpriced but the shopping experience is poor. There are many, many better consignment and used clothing stores in Geneva. I would not support this business.

If you are looking for one of the BEST consignment boutiques in the western suburbs, you have to stop by Jane Pabon Consignment Boutique in Geneva. You will find excellent quality, pricing and wonderful designer merchandise such as Chanel, Fendi and Burberry for a fraction of what it would cost in the stores.In addition, the owner, Jane Pabon and her entire staff are not only gorgeous, but provide a helpful, friendly, professional and fun family environment in the boutique.I would recommend you to stop in as soon as possible. You will LOVE it!!!

I would give the store 5 stars for the girls that work at this store. The younger stylists are very sweet, kind and helpful. I was so excited when I found this hidden gem in Geneva and made numerous of purchases. I had tried to give this little store social media exposure, recommendations to friends and family in Geneva and St.Charles as well as make visits to check out the merchandise.As much as I love vintage and thrifting, I also have a hobby of consigning. I went last week to the store to consign some of my items and the girls picked out some pieces as well as complimented them. One of them mentioned she worked in fashion in LA and both of them had wonderful style. A couple weeks later I get a phone call from a woman saying that she wouldn’t accept the 12 items the girls picked out and that I needed to come to the store to pick them up. I live in Chicago so it’s not easy for me to go back and fourth. I’ve consigned with many consignment stores in the past and have never had an incident like this. I tried explaining that some of the items that I dropped off haven’t even been worn, and she in a very condescending way accused me of lying multiple times. I was really disappointed with how I was being spoken to and the poor customer service I received over the phone considering the wonderful customer service I always receive in the store. I would have thought she could give the items a chance on the floor and I could come back at the date the girls originally gave me. I would have been hoped to be a valuable customer after purchasing one or two items every time I’ve walked in the store and trying to give the store more business.

I havent been in the store myself, but Ive dropped my girlfriend off numerous times because she was excited she found a store she liked nearby visiting my family. She recommended the store to my family and all of her friends around the area talking up the store and the girls that work there. Every time she came in, she would walk out with a big bag trying to support the store. I understand customer service because my family has also started multiple businesses.My girlfriend was really disappointed the other day when she received a voicemail from the owner saying that all the clothes that more than one employee picked out will not be put on the floor. My girlfriend has a hobby of consigning and Ive taken her to multiple consignment stores to drop off and shes never had an experience like this. I told her to call the woman to see if there was another alternative since shes always been so kind to the store and the owner had a complete different tone and approach than the girls working at the store. She was on speaker and the woman speaking who said she was the owner was very rude and condescending to my girlfriend. My girlfriend makes friends everywhere she goes, she has all of the women she shops from on speed dial or friended on social media. Shes not a hard person to get along with and shes very supportive of smaller businesses after the hard hit last year with the pandemic. The call went so bad that it ruined her entire day. She wrote a review hoping that she would get a different response or someone trying to resolve the issue and someone commented saying they were going to sue her for leaving an honest review? I noticed that the boutique got other negative feedback and instead of someone trying to resolve the issue or apologize for the experience and trying to better the business or experience for the customers.. Shes extremely self defensive and rude to the clientele. Coming from a family of business owners, I believe every customer is a valuable customer but my girlfriend went above and beyond for this boutique to try to make sure to always make a purchase or two in the store, recommend to my family and her friends as well as post on her social media about the boutique.

I was on my way to this consignment shop because a friend had told me she had an amazing experience here. So when I was in the area, my friend had called me up telling me she had gotten a phone call from the owner threatening her. I couldn’t believe it, I’m very much into sustainability and supporting small buisness. But treating people with kindness is a huge ticket in my morality.

My daughter and I visited this shop a few weeks ago. We had a great experience. We purchased shoes, jewelry and a handbag. The store has lots of cute items. The owner was very nice and helpful. We will definitely return to this shop.

How do you proceed to act this rude to customers when your business is of your namesake? The tri cities are a huge word of mouth community- and the word on JP isn’t good. Threatening bad reviews with legal action, being overly defensive in responses, & JP herself being banned from stores in the community for her rudeness in general! Nobody wants to do business with someone like this- Take some time to look inside lady- the world doesn’t revolve around you and your used handbags😂. There are many other consigners worthy of your business- do not waste your time at JPB.

Great store and I bought super cute shorts. This is a great consignment store to check out if your in the Geneva area. The staff there were so helpful and friendly and made me feel right at home and I will definitely be back.

Excellent boutique! Beautiful, well edited, luxury clothing and accessories. Wonderful, personable customer service. The owner was not only available to assist in identifying great pieces, she suggested combinations that worked superbly. I highly recommend this shop!

Beautiful clothing, but rude and entitled employees. Was in today with my mother, and we were very ready to buy two dresses, when another women walked in to collect her consignment funds and I believe put a few more things on consignment. The women who walked in told the employee working in the store she could ring us up as she knew her interaction may take a while, and the employee refused, and continued to take her time helping this women as we waited to be rung up for about 10+ minutes before leaving. The employee never even addressed us this entire time (we were the only other people in the store), never apologized for the wait, and seemed to prolong the experience with the other customer; there was no sense of urgency to help us. I have worked in retail myself, and I do not understand why you would refuse to ring up a customer, an interaction that would take maybe 3 minutes total, when the other women consigning her clothes specifically stated she was willing to wait. We also did intent to come back, and we circled the block several times, and looked back in the store window, and the employee and consignment customer were STILL not done. I have previously purchased from Jane Pabon, but after this off-putting experience, I wont be back.

Regarding the other two comments about staff not wearing masks, that was my experience at the boutique today (4 pm, February 27, 2021). NO ONE, including staff and customers, was wearing a face covering. Why anyone in a retail setting would be an exception is mind boggling.FOLLOW UP:The response to my review is a lie. I wouldnt randomly pick on a business for not wearing masks if they were wearing masks. Two other reviewers had the same experience.

My sister and I were shopping around exploring stores in when we happened upon this one, it’s very small, not too large of a selection. But to be fair we did not spend too much time looking around as all three of the employees were not wearing mask.

RUDE OWNER VERY SAD THAT A CUSTOMER GETS TREATED THIS WAY. I originally purchased a pair of shoes from this store. The shoes were too small so I kindly asked if I could exchange them for another pair of flats (even though they don’t accept returns) they had in the store but would have to ship them to the store because I don’t live in Illinois. I’m originally from miami & own a business in miami but live in germany. When I returned to miami which was within 3 days of the purchase I shipped the shoes back to the store but before I did I MADE SURE the shoes I wanted to exchange them for were available & set aside. I spoke to three different people who confirmed they were a 6.5 size. As soon as the shoes arrived & I asked to ship out the shoes that should have been originally set aside for me were apparently not a 6.5 but a 6 which wouldn’t work. I asked for a refund given the circumstance of being told various times that a size would be set aside & it wasn’t...the attendants obviously didn’t check the size when i asked them!!! I wouldn’t have even returned my original purchase if it wasn’t for them confirming a size that wasn’t even available. Our main line of communication was through Instagram. The tone of the messages were very kind and helpful and RESPECTFUL however as I began to ask for a refund or simple solution to the issue at hand they BLOCKED me on Instagram. What kind of owner does this to a customer? I immediately called the store to talk to the owner and she didn’t even let me speak or get a word in. She was so rude. She clearly doesn’t put customers first.I WOULDNT SUGGEST INVOLVING YOURSELF WITH THIS BUSINESS. THERE ARE MANY OTHERCONSIGNMENT STORES WITH WAY BETTER ITEMS IN THE AREA.THE ATTENDANT WASNT EVEN WEARING A MASK WHEN CUSTOMERS WERE INSIDE.No regard for others.Shop elsewhere!!

I am in love with this boutique. Jane, the owner, has a gift for styling. Some of my very favorite pieces have come from here..many were pieces I never would’ve picked out on my own. Thankfully Jane has an eye and also her sense of style is amazing. I have never consigned anything but I know many women that have and they rave about their experience!

Love this Boutique. Organized and easy to shop. Great location and the staff has always been friendly and accomodating. Was able to consign my purse with them and they had it sold and a check issued to me in a little over a month. Highly recommend.

I agree with others regarding the rudeness. I’ve been there a handful of times. Once was with my daughter and they followed us around the whole time acting as though she was going to steal something. Another time I had stopped in a saw a pair of UGGs I thought my daughter would like. I told the woman I was unsure of if they would fit her but if they didn’t fit I would just bring them back. Well they didn’t fit so I brought them back the next day and the same woman told me they don’t accept returns! Well maybe you should’ve told me that yesterday when I bought them and told you I might bring them back because I didn’t know if they’d fit.

I brought some clothes in to sell on consignment that were brand new and I had price tags on them and the woman was very rude and said oh no we don’t sell those kind of clothes here and I said well what kind of clothes do you sell and she said well take a look around. And I had brought in a cashmere sweater and two pants from Talbots with price tags on them for $90 each. Then I asked her if there was another consignment store in Geneva I could take the clothes to and she said we are not allowed to refer anyone to you. Very rude demeanor I did not appreciate it at all I will never go in there again.
