After 15+ years and being seen between two of the vision works branches, I finally had a good experience thanks to Lori and some of the other members of the Geneva team. Lori and her team created a quick and pleasant experience! I recommend visiting this branch and requesting Lori personally for any of your needs! Thanks again for helping!
Understanding that everyone is short staffed right now.. I not only patiently waited an hour and 1/2 after my eye exam to order new glasses. Was told my glasses would be in around 2 weeks, NEVER got a phone call or text to let me know so I called and got an order status update that my sunglasses were in but not my prescription glasses, not knowing that it was my sunglasses instead of regular glasses I drove to Geneva, to get them on my lunch break, to get there and be told that their lab just notified them that day ( the day my glasses were due back ) that they didn’t have my frame. NOBODY bothered to notify me of this. So as I was there I asked if there was a rough estimate of a return date on my glasses. The woman that worked with me from the get go was very nice and helpful, she asked the woman fitting glasses to just look at the screen so she could give me a better answer and she was extremely rude not only to her but me as well because I asked how long it would take to get my glasses. Let alone I couldn’t even get my sunglasses fitted to me while I was there. So I drove to Webster to have them fitted the next day 🙄. I called today thinking my glasses would be in because while I was standing there last week the frames were thrown in a ups box like they were going out the door, to be told the lab canceled my order so they had to email them but they’re still waiting for the frame.. to wait about another week. But yet there still is no communication update anywhere.
Had to get an appointment for new Glasses..my old ones are getting tired..Great people to work with. I will have wait two weeks for my new ones to arrive so the lady took my current ones and cleaned them up and fixed the nose piece.As for all these negative ratings no idea where that came from. It’s a very busy busy store and it’s hard to pay attention to everything and everybody. Following the rules is one thing wear a mask....and be patient .
I switched locations between visionworks stores and had an eye exam and ordered a years worth of contacts. When I got the email that my contacts were ready to be picked up, I stopped in the store to pick them up and they said I had to make an appointment to pick them up because they couldn’t give them to me without being seen by a optometrist to “fit” my contacts. The prescription hadn’t changed and I’ve been wearing this brand for the past few years. When I called to make an appointment I was unable to schedule anything beyond an eye exam so I ended up waiting on hold for 27 minutes just to talk with someone not even at the Geneva store. I didn’t even get to make an appointment and now I have to wait for someone from the Geneva location to call me to make an appointment. Thank goodness I ordered a years worth of contacts because I absolutely will not be dealing with this ridiculousness again.
STAY AWAY...Waited 2 hours to get safety glasses and the employee who helped me was too busy telling her co-workers about how bad it was to work vision works and she negotiated for more pay. She had zero customer service. I never got a call to pick up my glasses. I had to call a month later. When I arrived today they stated I got an automatic text. I double checked and never received. As I sit hear you can see what a mess it is. Go anywhere else..I ended up asking for a refund and did not take my glasses. I was told by the manager I was third up, two in front of me. After 4 where called in front of me, I ask when I was next. She started next and I asked what happen to bring third, she stated she messed up.I took the refund and left them with the new glasses.5/3/21 UpdateI went to Reeds Eye Care in Newark and had a 11:30 AM Appointment. I received new lens for a pair of glasses and picked out new safety glasses and was done by 11:55am. I had 5 hours invested in Geneva Vision works and never received glasses.
Wow..just wow. All I was trying to do was cancel an appointment. The automated system could not get the spelling of my name right. This went on for 4 different attempts. Once, totally disconnected. The other times, directed to go online. So, when in doing so, was not able to cancel. This process was/is stressful... I guess I just dont go, and not worry about it. Wow, just wow. What a headache.
It took almost 2 hours to get glasses and the were told that the big sign saying buy one get one free didn’t pertain if you have insurance. I would give them zero stars if I could.
I had high hopes after moving to the area and after previously being served by another Vision Works store which was top notch. Today I finally received my new glasses after my initial appointment and ordering them on April 8th, and after receiving 2 defective pair. No one called to say the glasses were ready so after multiple round robin phone calls and no real person to talk to because the virtual assistant could not spell my name correctly, today I just stopped in. After waiting a very long time the glasses were simply handed to me in a box and out the door...no offer to check the fit. In all the time I waited, I should have asked for some windex and rags, I could have cleaned their filthy windows that you can barely see out of. After being with Vision Works in 2 different location for the past 15 years, I will take my business elsewhere in the future. I would give zero stars if that were an option.
Good eye care it will take some time but worth it concidering our situation. They clean all frames and seating areas after use or what-not. The Doc I seen was very professional and thorough. Second visit in three years. I would recommend to anyone
I to will be going elsewhere after being with them for 25 yr... all full service right now and I cant even get a hold of them. I need to pick up glasses and I have to first of all make an appointment but they do not make appointments to pick up glasses. Doesnt make sense and is ridiculous. I am going to be checking around for another store!
This place has gone to the aliens since they Baught out empire vision. I have gone here over 40 years. And Now I have to argue with an automated machine to even get a live person in hopes they actually call back. And in hopes there bot doesn’t hang up on you because you have to keep saying I want an operator. The customer service is gone down hill in such a way I have to wonder how they stay open
I was in the area(Geneva NY) on 2/15/21 and stopped in the store to get a minor repair done to 1 of 2 pairs of glasses I had purchased from this store. The woman that waited on me first asked what I was there for. I told her all I needed was to replace the nose supports(not sure of exact term) on my glasses. She then asked if I had an appointment. I said I did not. Then she told me that it was going to be a while before someone could see me. She was very rude and short tempered with me, so I left the store. There were obviously others that were not happy with the service and wait times as one women walking out with me had mentioned.In the past, I have stop in for this type of repair and someone has ALWAYS taken care of me within a few minutes. It is ashamed that this place is not friendly and personable with their existing customers like they used to be when it was Empire Vision. For years I have purchased my glasses here and now I will be looking else where for eye exams and glasses. What a shame!
I need my glasses repaired. I have to make an appointment. I went online as instructed when I called. All appointment dates into January say there are no available appointments, When I called I listened to music and someone telling me to go to the website. No human. I could give a better rating if I could get in the place! I have received good service in the past.Update. I finally got in to get my prescription taken. Ive been waiting for over 4 weeks and have heard nothing. Called the phone number on the website and talked to someone in Texas. She looked up my account and said my glasses were in Geneva and ready for pickup. She said she would send them a note to notify me. I have heard nothing after 3 days. I went online and could make an appointment. 3 weeks from now. I am trying to be understanding because of COVID-19 but I also really need those new lenses to see.
I was able to make apt online, it never gave a confirmation so wasnt sure if was done, so made another one that actually gave a confirmation. I was seen within minutes optometrist was able to dial in correct script quickly. THEn I had to wait an hour and 40 minutes so be seen after I found the frames I wanted. The people that fit the frames and select options I wanted started doing other things while watching me sit in a chair waiting. Then when I had options I wanted she told me the price. OMG!! I dont have vision insurance and was almost 1000.00. It was 949.95 to be exact. I used a 50% off card they sent in mail so was 500.00. I went home and checked out prices from other places and WOW!! The frames they sold me they charged 250.00 I found at at least 4 other places less than 100.00 and the 210.00 ea lense I found for under 70.00 ea. Bottom line they mark up product SOO much it should be criminal.
I scheduled my sons appointment here online because no one answers the phone when you try and call. Today when we showed up the lady at the front desk tells me hes scheduled to do a tele health exam but that since hes 6 it wouldnt be a good choice for him and that there is no other way for them to do an exam. What I dont Understand is I scheduled this exam 2 weeks ago and Im not able to call how am I supposed to know that they werent going to be able to do his exam
Both the assistant manager and the lady who fitted my glasses were both extremely rude and very unhelpful. After being a customer for over 12 years. My family will be going elsewhere.
I made an appointment for my husband weeks ago. Today I got a message that they needed insurance and address info. Called back was on hold for over 30 min. Then I hung up, too long of a wait. Thought I would check reviews Wow now I dont know if we should keep the appointment ? If they are that rude and slow at getting people in and out thats not good.
Not going back! They cancelled my appointment without notice! I made my appointment several weeks ago and really needed to get glasses ASAP. If you have Davis vision insurance I found a huge list of providers on their website that had appointments a few weeks out. Cornerstone in Victor takes Davis and has real humans to talk to on the phone that will set up your appointment! What a concept talking to a real person is, and not waiting on hold for 30 minutes to not talk to anyone.
January 12, 2021. Great Dr., great service from young lady who measured me for new glasses. January 21, 2021 was texted that order ready. Online appt was 5 weeks out for pickup thought had to be a mistake so I called, on hold 35 minutes. Went to store to make the appointment, only 2 customers in store at that time. INCREDIBLY RUDE front desk girl said 5 weeks out to get my glasses. After no explanation and just being treated that my business does not matter I have an appointment to pick up my glasses that are sitting in their store in 5 weeks. Never in the 42 years that I have been a customer to wait that long and with no explanation. Im sadly not going back.
They discriminate against human rights, because I do not speak English they gave me an appointment and they did not put me in the system, they made fun of me but I recorded them and I want to sue them I will do everything possible to bring the case for discrimination and damages because I felt very bad.
Doesnt not offer equal access anymore by forcing you to use a website and not be able to talk to a person. Spent over 2 hours waiting on a phone to find out if my glasses are fixed. If someone who couldnt read without their glasses needed help there is NO WAY to get a hold of anyone.
I will never return to this store. Rude staff. I will never shop in a place where I am treated as if I’m a bother or I’ve done something wrong. All I did was bring in my glasses that broke to ask for help instead I was told that I had a three week wait for an appointment with no understanding whether the glasses would be fixed in three weeks or whether there would be a longer wait.I went to the Eye Care Center in Canandaigua today for a different purpose and found friendly happy people who say hello in a very clean well cared for place. I mentioned that I had broken glasses and they found time to fit me in. They fixed my glasses for free and made me feel like a valued customer.I highly recommend the Eye Care Center in Geneva and Canandaigua. I do not recommend Empire visionwork!

Toady is 1/2/2021. Live an hour away. Been waiting for reading glasses since appt on 11/24/2020. Cant get through to talk to anyone. no return calls from online chat. Need a contact ASAP!!

Making an appointment is absolutely insane your on hold with an automatic voice message for at least 20 -30 minutes before you can talk to anyone about making an appointment! Once you get an appointment the eye doctor and staff are great. Then you have to call back just to another appointment for the fitting of your glasses. So there is another 20 - 30 minute wait to schedule that appointment. Heads up this is for Geneva N.Y.
After using Visionworks for over 30 years, and always being treated with respect and friendliness from the staff, I was surprised at the poor reviews. I was unable to get through the telephone lines after being informed by a neighbor he was left on hold several times and finally gave up making an appointment. I decided to watch T.V. and wait the hour out on hold till someone finally answered. The Geneva store was basically blamed for being short staffed and I was told to just walk in. I found out the phones are going through a call center in Texas that is overloaded and thus giving this store a bad reputation. I just had two new pairs of glasses made and it was my best experience ever there. The store wasnt crowded, only a few people at a time, Covid protocol being followed and I never felt rushed. Nice, professional staff as usual. If you can put up with the call center, nothing has changed.
Called several times everyday for about three weeks after the lockdown ended. Tried making an appointment online daily(website doesn’t work at all) Never got through to a person to make an appointment. Jumped through the hoops on the website to get to “live chat” they gave me no answers but assured me if I gave them my phone number and the store I was trying to schedule at they would fax over my number and they would give me a call. I did this several times and never got a call. Finally walked in to make an appointment. Employee seemed appalled that I would show up without having an appointment. Explained everything I tried and they still acted like I was an inconvenience. They had zero answers about the phone line/website not working. Terrible customer service. Now I have to go to victor for my eye needs. Thanks empire vision works
Been waiting for over a month for my frames. After week two I went in (couldnt get through by phone) and they said it may take another week or so, but here we are five weeks after purchasing! Good service while youre there, money in hand. Not so great afterwards.
Got an eye exam for prescription reading glasses. Spent maybe 3 minutes in the eye exam. There was never any questions asked and the prescription that they gave me was incorrect. After the exam, I had to wait for 30 minutes to pay for the exam while the entire staff was busy with customers trying on glasses. No one one could cash me out as they were busy trying to sell glasses. I have been to many different places and this was the worst I have ever experienced.
The employees here are kind, patient, and working nonstop. Theyre constantly on the phones or with customers. Each person was patient and willing to work with me based on what I needed. I also witnessed an eye glass fitting where the employee went of her way to help a customer find eyeglasses that fit the customers needs (glasses with eyepieces and frames that were comfortable for her face). Issues with calling are because everything is routed through a call center; youre not getting a direct line to the office. This is a problem with the corporation, not the individuals who work here.After a recent appointment, I learned that its best to make an appointment for everything, even if you just need a pair of glasses repaired, or youre hoping to pick-up your order. Similarly, when you make an appointment, be sure to check if its a telehealth option. I hadnt realized the office did these until after my appointment, so I was not physically meeting with the doctor for my exam.
Im over it. Been going to empire vision for 20 years, I stayed with them for another 10 when they changed to vision works. They must run their buisness like americas best. Doc is only there a few days a week covering multiple locations. Then skelton crewed the receptionists. Cant walk in (covid I get it) cant call, just spend an hour on the call line to no avail. Well, if I cant speak to a person at all, Ill take my business elsewhere. Its too bad too.

Nothing has changed.. even months later. Regarding their automated phone systems; you will never actually get an opportunity to speak to a REAL person.. that is unless youre willing to remain on hold for 30-40 minutes. Its ridiculous.. especially when youre calling for simple information that the website doesnt provide.
Took us in at the door, ordered new glasses and were very kind to us. Dont blame the workers, as they are wonderful and doing all they can. Even sanitation after each client.
This company has overextended itself and now cant even answer its own phone. I have tried for days and waited on hold for long periods of time. You cant go online and set up an appointment there is no availability for months. The same thing happened last year when i gave up and just showed up. I should have got my familys records and left then! This company has set its stores up for failure. Horrible
Trying to call them is a joke. You’ll wait for hours listening to music. Nobody ever picks up. The staff is rude and treats you like you’re a bother to them. I’m all out of contacts and have had no luck trying to get ahold of them. This place is awful.
Telemedecine exam was a joke. The doctor was disinterested and dismissive. Ive always been difficult to fit because I have one eye near-sighted and one far-sighted. The person who ran the focus machine was very unprofessional and made big yawns and joked about how tired he was and insisted that I must have suffered an eye injury because of my responses. The entire staff at this location have forgotten about HIPPA laws and keeping patients information private. Between the several times I was there in the fall of 2020, my daughter was asked to verbally complete the questionnaire that she did online and submitted as if she hadnt done so. This was done in the middle of the lobby in earshot of at least 3 patients. I was told they didnt have anything on order for me when I went to pick up my glasses after charging me over $700 of which I paid $250 personally. Only to be told it was my fault they couldnt find me in their system because if you dont give your name exactly as they have you, they cant find you. Apparently, they created 2 accounts for me and the one lady was looking at the wrong account. Sorry, thats not my fault. I was asked for my DOB while standing at the front desk and when I asked for something to write it on was treated like I insulted them. Then she shoved the card into my glasses case so I would take it with me. This location does not have a doctor in residence since June 1 so I dont know who owns the franchise and is running the office. It seems that the inmates are running the institution and they do what they want. Every person was wearing jeans and not professional attire. Some had on lab coats, but not all. The lady at the front desk is either nice or rude depending on what day it is. I would never recommend going there. I spoke with a friend who has a similar eye circumstance and glasses prescription and she only paid $300 total for her glasses. I think we are all being ripped off and treated poorly.
I got my daughter glasses in Feb and the workers were all pleasant to work with, the wait once we were seen by the doctor till it was time to actually get fitted was a while but they were def busy. My daughter broke both pairs in the last couple months and when i took them in, again everyone was very nice and helpful and the wait was maybe only 5-10 min.
Awful! Will not write prescription for different brand of contacts even though I’m well within 1 year of my exam here. They want to charge me $50 plus $100 plus have a whole new eye exam just to have the doctor change the brand. Why go here when there’s plenty of eye doctors in Geneva with good reviews? This place has bad reviews for a reason. You’ve been warned!
I was a bit skeptic on the bad reviews I was seeing but I got in and out for a telemedicine eye exam. It was very busy and yet the staff was very nice, professional, and patient. A good first time with the place Ill make my routine checks here.They also handle health safety very well, ensuring every person entering gets a temp check and sanitizes and has a mask obviously.With Covid going on a lot of people are impatient with this place. With my hour spent Ive heard multiple people chewing out the staff for no good reason.
Terrible customer service. Went there for an eye exam and the lens on their equipment was all smudged up so everything was blurry. I pointed it out and they cleaned it then but didnt even bother to test my eyes again. They said theyd send my trials in 2 weeks or less but its been a month! Tried calling yesterday to see what the holdup is and the lady seemed very annoyed with me and hung up as fast as she could. Definitely gonna switch eye doctors.
This is by far the worst eye center place Ive ever had to deal with. I had been calling for 2 days, not getting an answer & the website does not tell you when your appointment is. Each time I have called I waited on the phone for well over 30mins. I had to physically go to the store to find out when my appointment was. As soon as I walked in the associates were very rude. I highly suggest going else where to have an eye exam.
The people are great but when I called just to make an appointment to pick up my glasses i couldnt get through. Too much computer with no actual person to talk to. And making an appointment online is impossible. Im not waiting weeks just to get fitted for my glasses, and my name is hyphenated so if i dont get it just right they wont know who i am. So im just going to walk in.

The new robotic call menu never allows you to talk to a human. LONG LONG LONG Wait times in store. I know youre busy. We are . So slow.....! VisionWorks.com is horrible. Cannot change appointments and NOBODY will answer phone!Finally someone answers the phone 40 minutes on hold...IN SAN ANTONIO TEXAS! I told her my story, she blames Covid. Everything is Covids fault. Incompetent.
If I could give this organization a negative rating I would. Dont waste your time or your money here. I called 6 weeks ago to try and schedule appt and you couodnt get through to anyone. When I went online to schedule an appt, the wait time was 5 weeks so I scheduled an appt. I called back again just to gather more info, which took me 30 attempt no lie, and my appt was confirmed and all set according to the representative that I was finally able to speek with. Now I get here for my appt only to be told that it was scheduled wrong. I asked if I couod reschedule my appt, and they said sure, you just have to call back to book it as they dont have the doctors schedule. I explained to her that it is NOT possible to speak with anyone by phone and her response was to just keep calling the number until you reach someone. What a joke! As I said previously, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR YOUR MONEY HERE!
Broke my glasses at work yesterday. Called there to get into order new glasses since cant work or drive with out them, and have to wait 4 days to get in to office, then they have to order the lenses. I have new prescription already, so dont need eye exam or nothing, . So much for any type of emergency service. Been a customer there for, 15 plus yrs. Very poor service when in need.
I love this place!! Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. Dr. Tepfer is so friendly and made the exam process so quick and simple. Chris was awesome!! Very friendly, helped my indecisive-self make decisions and tried several different billing options to make sure I was paying the lowest price. I recommend this place to anyone I know looking for glasses.
On top of many less than par exchanges, recently I have been trying to schedule a glasses repair appointment. The appointment times are few and far between. As a county employee this has made scheduling an appointment even more difficult.
They were awesome with my son when he had to get glasses for the first time. Great customer service! I highly recommend!

Yesterday March 22, 2019 I went to the Geneva location to order my contacts, I was greeted by Hope very pleasant! Now for the shock I got mind you I’m on a budget, when the contact person told me the price the shock set in, I told her that’s not what I was quoted over the phone, she then said that I couldn’t use the 10% off unless I paid for the annual supply, ok so how much for 6 month supply not able to use the 10% of! I told her that some gentleman said I could well she said he was wrong then proceeded very rudely by saying not much can be done, then I said someone needs to be retrained! I then got up and walked out without ordering 😢! Now I had called a while later to talk to the manger o he’s with a patient, she then took my number and yup you guessed no return call! Great customer service NOT
Glasses are decent but staff has no clue what there doing and make you wait a long time for every step in the process. would not recommend.

The reason I give this is because my glasses I got here keep breaking and I take care of my glasses. The basically where blaming me as if I keep breakups them my self. Where I do not. The sale associate said that the don’t have any problems with my specific frame I have. So it is obvious that this is my doing but it’s not.
Expirence was very delightful. The people there are amazing and helped me pick an amazing pair of glasses and the employees had smiles the whole time through this fantastic experience. 5/5 I recommend this place to anyone who needs a checkup,glasses or there prescriptions adjusted

Ordered glasses had to wait for them to be shipped to me because of Covid they were shipped with the wrong prescription. If you try to call any number associated with Visionworks no one will answer your mail on hold and if you go into their office to let them know they are very complacent and nasty
Waited a half hour to see if my daughters glasses could be fixed....no answer. Made to feel like a very low priority....was told I just had to keep waiting and waiting....or leave and come back. This is the place to go if you like horrendous customer service and waiting with no answers. Recommended only as a last resort.

No one ever answers the phone! Ordered glasses and when said they were ready..had to wait 3 weeks to get damn appt to pick them up! Terrible way to do business..I will go elsewhere in the future!
Alyssa did a great job helping me readjust my glasses. Ive been in a couple of times & she changed thenose pads for a far better fit.
I went to Visionworks in Geneva, NY for an annual eye exam and had nothing but troubles from start to finish. I had a scheduled appointment for a Friday afternoon, and a few hours before the appointment they called to see if I would be able to reschedule because their doctor had been overbooked. I agreed to come in the following Monday. When I arrived on Monday, they had no appointment scheduled for me and didnt even have a file for me, which is odd because I had been there before (when it was Empire Vision). After waiting over an hour for an exam, I was finally seen. I paid for my contacts and was told that they would call me when my contacts arrived, within 7-10 business days. After 12 days went by, I decided to give them a call to see if my contacts had come in, which they had. Why I did not receive a phone call upon their arrival is still a mystery. When I had the representative on the phone, she assured me that there was no need for me to see a doctor, and that I would be able to pick up my contacts without delay. Later that evening, I went to pick up my contacts and again, they had no idea who I was, thinking for some reason that I had been in earlier that day and needed to be fitted for glasses. I informed them that I just need to pick up my contacts and be on my way. I eventually received my contacts. When I got home, I realized that the contacts were a different prescription than the last ones I had, which was odd because the doctor said that my prescription has not changed. I guess we can accredit the misinformation to them losing my file. The contacts I was given do not fit, and I cannot see as clearly anymore. Needless to say, I will not be returning to Visionworks in Geneva, or any branch of Visionworks. The customer service was horrible, and they were the most disorganized group of people I have ever encountered.
Extremely slow. Waited about an hour and a half just to get a pair of glasses which took about 3 minutes. I walked out to get a look around and see how the transitioners would change and I wasn’t happy with all the adjustments. Walked back in and took ANOTHER hour before I got seen. Im not sure what’s the problem but it’s getting annoying.

I do not recommend giving this place your business. If you go there, no matter the time of day, you will wait for 30 minutes easily before getting seen by anyone. The people working there are miserable, and do not seem to want to be working around people at all. If you are looking for things to be easy, look elsewhere. Every interaction I have had with this company (both the store in Geneva, NY and Auburn, NY) has made it unnecessarily difficult to complete seemingly easy tasks, such as retrieving your prescription that you pay for yourself and belongs to you. They dont want you to be able to take your prescription elsewhere and order contacts at a cheaper price then what they ridiculously charge. I have been going to Vision Works since I was in middle school, and back then it was called Empire Vision. I am truly displeased with my experience. I will be finding a new place to go for my glasses and contacts, I would rather go to Walmarts vision center than here.
I originally (several years ago) gave a 5 stars. Now, under their new management I would give less than 1 star if at all possible. HORRIBLE customer service. Cant get through (on hold for over 20 minutes and then disconnected) TWICE. Online chat with The Corporation in Texas and had lousy results THEN a phone call with their Ha Ha Customer Service? Again, on hold forever and I finally hung up. Too bad. This used to be a good place. Now I suggest you go ANYWHERE ELSE.
I have been trying to call them for 4 days straight and nobody answers the phone! What business is this hard to get a hold off??!! Terrible customer service.
I have been going to the same optometrist in Geneva since I moved to the area in 1983. It was Empire vision at that time. I just made an appointment for an eye exam and to get new contacts/glasses. I had to call twice since I did not have my insurance card readily available (never needed it before). Both times I called the representative (two different ones) was extremely curt and rude when I asked a question for clarification. I will be calling back to cancel my appointment. I am taking my business elsewhere.

I took my family into visionworks in Geneva and I absolutely love there new doctor. His name is Dr. Montes he is by far the best eye doctor Ive ever been to and Ive worn glasses since I was 3. He takes his time and Is more thorough than any other doctor Ive ever been to. He didnt push glasses on us and he found that my daughter has Refractive Amblyopia and no other doctor had cought this. He even had his secretary call me to make sure that I found an eye doctor that could help her And when we went in to pick up my husbands glasses he completely recognized me came over asked about my daughter and how everything was going. I highly recommend Dr. Montes to anyone....
The staff is very nice. However, they broke my glasses in 2 pieces while adjusting them and are not compensating me for it. I was never informed they could be broke while adjusting them. Plus, there is always an extremely long wait.
New Dr great, frame specialists great, lately, customer service seems to have communication issues . Usually dont have a problem with rudeness, but this time, is another story .Rudeness in customer service is unacceptable behavior, customers wont be back being treated that way.
Waited 20 days for my glasses in which they said a 2 weeks. They called and told me my to finally said my glasses were in. I tried 4 days with a total of 5 hours on phone on hold! I gave up and just went over and picked them up. Customerservice SUCKS!!!
What an awesome experience with the ladies.
The optometrists are great. One actually highly suggested I get tested for diabetes because my eyes had changed so drastically. Very thorough. As far as the amount of time it takes for eye glasses to be prepared, is substandard. As is the Customer service provided by the Women who work the desk, and the sales floor. Catty, downright disrespectful a d full of inflated ego. I will not stop at leaving this review. This review will go to higher up of this company.Twice now, in 2 two year time frame i have had to chase down my glasses because ive recieved no call on the 10th, 11th or 13th day. This time, I get there and I actually hear them talking about how they should tell me to leave and come back when THEY say so. One stated she didnt want to cause trouble, the other stated she had no problem doing so....to this i say...I dare you. I stood and waited over 30 minutes for them to give me my glasses, and then she could not be bothered to adjust them to my face. Im never coming here again. Ill go to a decent place that knows their job, how to ACT ( Customer Service), and that can have my glasses done in an hour.
Horribly slow. Took 3 tries and well over an hour to pick up 2 pairs of glasses. They need more help during their busy times.

What a horribly disappointing experience. I called to get in at the last minute for contacts due to having to travel to Florida for my sisters funeral and going through a few pairs unexpectedly over the past couple days. I was told no exceptions, I would have to wear my glasses. Insensitive, unaccommodating, and rude.
