Cute little restaurant inside a bike shop. Great location, good vegan food. Had a really cute date here eating our meal looking out at the river, watching the sunset.

So I was so excited to try this place. Very very disappointing. The pictures on the website DO NOT match what you get. The nachos were nothing but some chips with vegan sausage and cheese with a couple pieces of tomato. Not loaded AT ALL. Most of the chips contained nothing. The BBQ jackfruit sandwich was decent but again like a mini sandwich. Not what it looks like on the website. The sweet potato fries were rubbery but I still liked the fries. The food was cold. Its sad considering I tried it after walking out the door. Smh. The donuts were decent. Some are thick/grainy. But not bad. I still feel ripped off over the meals. $40 for subpar items is NOT what I was expecting from this place. Very unhappy and disappointed. Borderline false advertisement as there is no notice on the website that the food doesnt look like what you get.

Love it more everything I go! Ive been vegan for a long time and Rejoice hands down is my favorite new restaurant. They have options no other vegan or gluten free restaurant has and I have truly enjoyed everything Ive had from their menu. I saw some reviews complaining about their food and photos so I posted the nachos I got the other day. It ooks exactly like the photos every time. Yes there are going to be some differences but its all about the taste to me and it all taste amazing!!! Dont let the few bad reviews sway you from going. Their food is the best vegan food Ive ever eaten!

I have come here many times with my family and the food is quite good. Decent price and good flavors for food of this kind. There are very few options for vegans. This is a good addition for us. Ordered doughnuts today and they were very good tasting. My daughter liked the cookie guy a lot.

The kale salad was perfection and I am picky. Delicious. Crisp, lightly roasted walnuts, thin- sliced red grapes, strawberries, avocado, tangy dressing. The server was friendly and quick. And the menu is all plant-based. Highly recommend.

As a vegan, I was glad to find an eatery that I could feel comfortable eating at. Everything is made to order with fresh ingredients, something seen even less nowadays. However, the wait time from order to pick up is lacking and there seems to be some confusion and lack of urgency in the kitchen (15 minutes for 2 beverages, tacos and a sandwich). Worth a visit but not when you need something to go fast, unless you call ahead.

Look no further than right here for the MOST DELICIOUS GLUTEN FREE donuts in the entire Fox Valley, not to mention the western suburbs. These donuts are absolutely outstanding. Flavorful, fresh, and best of all: Gluten and dairy free. Run, don’t walk!!

My first experience with Rejoice was about 2 months ago when they opened. I thought it was overpriced for what it was and gave them a 1 star review. I just went back to try the new menu and things have gotten a lot better. The staff greeted me right when I walked in, they answered all of my (many) questions about the menu and got the food out to me pretty quickly. It was a completely different experience than my first time. If you are a vegan or gluten free, go give them a try.

Enjoyed my first time here. Its so hard to find both vegan and gluten free options. So, it was a nice change of pace. Ordered the chili and it was very flavourful. Love the new $10 menu and will definitely be back to try other items from it.

Was super excited to try this place out but was pretty disappointed with the order we picked up. The sweet potato fries were sub par. The nachos looked absolutely nothing like the website and were missing ingredients. Taste was okay at best. Seems like some people have better experiences so give them a try!

This is by far one of my favorite vegan restaurants in the world. The service was amazing, the food was phenomenal, and what you get for the price was also great. It has such a cute atmosphere too.

Horribly organized. Placed an order at 11:10 for 11:30 because I was meeting someone on their lunch break at 11:30. They didn’t start preparing it until 11:35 and we didn’t have the food in front of us until 11:55. The food and drinks were way overpriced for what we got. When I ordered what I wanted (Sweet Potato Breakfast Bowl) the guy looked at me like I was from another planet. I actually had to show him a picture of it on their own website. Honestly, the food wasn’t horrible, but the customer service will ultimately bring that place down if not fixed. On top of it all a lady walked in while we were eating with an online order that they messed up. First they informed her that they no longer had one item that she already ordered. Why was it still an option for her to order that then? Then she ordered a cold latte and was served a hot latte. What a joke. I really wanted to like this place, I really did. Never again

A small group of cyclists came with me and placed orders. We got our food partially . The food was brought to us outside, I asked the person about my protein shake and indicated i will bring it to you.I waited forever for my drink and when i went inside and asked i saw it in the counter. She said oops sorry about that.... so here is the point. Overpriced health drinks and ok service my protein shake tasted awful for the price I paid. Wish the service at least cared to remake the drink since she left it in the counter at least 20 min room temperature. Would recommend stay in the counter then go seat to make sure you get the whole order together.

I want to love this place, I really do, but there needs to be some adjustments made. Twice, I have placed take out orders and were disappointed with the result. I had ordered the Valentines Day donut special for my kids, and when online ordering it specifies on the website they will be ready for pick up next morning. I stopped in with my kids, and they didnt have my order on file or made to go. They quickly put something together, but the donuts were a weird consistency when eaten. They were really wet, like an icing or glaze had sat too long on them or they were left over from the day before. I was really disappointed. My second take out order was underwhelming as well, the sweet potato fries were soggy and limp when I opened the container to eat one on my way out the door from picking up. The rest of my order tasted ok, and I liked the concept but also felt the quanity and quality was overpriced. Order was much smaller than the stock photo. My wait times for both take out orders were also long too,, almost 15 min each time.. I dont mind waiting,, but both times I was the only person there.. Im planning to give one more chance and dine in to see if it will be different than take out, and I hope the dine in experience is better.

The cook wore no gloves, no mask. Cashier was nice but clueless. Both were talking on the phone and unprofessional. No clue what the food taste like since he didn’t wear gloves and literally touched ALL THE INGREDIENTS WITH HIS BARE HANDS! Definitely won’t be going back.

Booked a reservation to Rejoice after seeing all of the hype on Facebook. Had a nice dinner in one of their outdoor igloos with some friends. We all tried different things on the menu to share and enjoyed ourselves. The igloo was warmer than we thought it would be.

I got my whole family to try this restaurant with me!& It blew up in my face!!Took two bites of my burger, and had to trashed it!The nachos were missing the most important ingredient (Vegan Cheese) and the sour cream! Completely dry!!My moms Jackfruit burger was missing the, red cabbage as advertise online!We didnt even enjoy the milkshakes! They taste bitter!To top things off their website and social media portray a restaurant/lounge, got there, and realized there is no actual restaurant only the equivalent of a small indoor food stand- with a few tables in the same building as a bike store!I was willing to forgive the misleading website, but then looked at their actual food, and realized even the food theyve posted is stock footage, or from other websites!! What did I even eat??!!!We collectively paid over $100 for dinner, and unfortunately thanks to my great idea of trying Rejoice Food Stand, we have to pay for dinner all over again!!

I said I would never come back after my first experience but I am happy I did. My girlfriend wanted to try it because she is celiac and we had a great dinner together. I have to give them credit for improving things.

Take it from me, YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS PLACE. The food is some of the best vegan food I have ever tasted. Sometimes when I go out to eat I feel like all I do is complain and ask the waiter or waitress to make sure its gluten free, make sure its not made with certain oils and if they do have meat that my food isnt made on the same surfaces. I do not have to do that at Rejoice and I love it! I can just feel normal for once and order whatever I want from the menu. The open kitchen actually helps because I can see them preparing everything.

Had an absolutely amazing dinner with friends in one of their igloos I saw advertised on Facebook. We arent vegan but everything looked so good online we had to give it a shot. The food was even better than we expected. Most healthy food places have very bland food but everything was very flavorful and the juices are some of the best Ive ever had. I would recommend them after the great experience we had whether youre vegan or not.

I tried take out and dine in to see if the reviews were true and I dont know what everyone is so upset about. Experience was great both time. Yes, we had to wait a little bit for the take out, the whole parking lot was full when we got there but the food tasted and looked great.

I was super excited to try the food here, unfortunately, I think I was ripped off. I ordered dinner for a friend and I, his items all turned out fine, but mine were all messed up. I ordered the 16 oz cookie dough shake and the crispy cauliflower. Besides the shake being flavorless, they gave it to me in a 12 oz cup. No big deal, but I don’t think the $7 price tag was worth it. Onto the cauliflower, the menu description said it came with two sauces, celery, and an 8 oz sweet potato side. What I received was honestly a joke. The cauliflower looked nothing like the images on the website, they were tiny and mostly breading, the spinach dipping sauce was missing as well as the sweet potato side. Definitely not worth the $13 price tag. Really disappointed with this place, do not recommend.

OMG can I tell you how amazing their vegan donuts are!!! My daughter surprised me with a dozen of these today for my birthday (because I LOVE donuts but cant have gluten) and these are the best donuts I have ever tasted hands down; vegan or otherwise. Do you guys deliver? These are going to be so good with my morning coffee.

Visited on grand opening day and it was everything I expected and more. I got the impossible egg sandwich and the impossible egg wrap with a side of plant based sausage patties and let me tell ya, it was AMAZING! What really drove the experience to exceed my expectations was the staff. Im all about energy and good vibes and the staff emits that in everything that they do. So glad to have a plant based restaurant in the area. I highly recommend everyone give them a try, definitely worth it and you wont regret it!

I really wanted to try this place and was disappointed. The staff was so nice but my burger was decently cold and was the size of my palm it was so small, and for $15? Not worth it. The fries were good, but I would never spend that much on what I got and probably won’t be coming back.

Disappointed by the food. Shakes were flavorless and way too watery, the sweet potato fries were rock hard and tasted burnt, the chips and guac tasted store-bought, and when the staff accidentally cooked an extra burger, we overheard them talking about how they would just heat it up for another customer. Not to mention the prices are unreal.My girlfriend and I hold vegan restaurants to an extremely high standard. If a non-vegan wants to try out some plant-based food and stops here for their first meal, they might never choose vegan again.Please, rethink the menu and food preparation. You could do SO much better.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Weve ordered take out, sat in an igloo; which was very warm and ordered inside and have never been disappointed. Nowhere else can my family eat worry free and actually get to enjoy our meal. Having a daughter who is celiac makes eating out very hard. But she has enjoyed everything shed had from Rejoice. Plant based isnt for everyone but its a life saver for my family.

I really wanted to like this place, but was highly disappointed. I scheduled a reservation for two in the igloo they offer, days in advance. Sadly, upon arriving to the restaurant we were informed that we would not be able to having the seating we reserved. We were advised the limits of the igloos were one hour and another party had exceeded their limit. They asked us to take a seat else where and wait for one to open up. They also stated someone would be by to take our order but after 20 mins of waiting we decided to just get up and leave.

Yum! Such a nice spot to stop for a healthy pick-me-up after enjoying the trail!

Gave Rejoice another shot after hearing they have changed a few things and I was pleasantly surprised. Order came out early, the servers were great and they did not mess up my order. So, all in all a great 2nd visit.

I dont even know what to say. Everything is mind blowing. Kudos to the chef and owner of this restaurant. I hope they stay around forever.

I have to say, I know that a lot of people have had mixed reviews here but I have gone multiple times with my husband and we absolutely love Rejoice. Yes, they have had some new start up troubles. I was a business owner before I got into the corporate world and its not easy; especially in the middle of a pandemic. I dont typically write reviews but the restaurant deserves to know that they are doing an amazing job and we know there are little hiccups here and there in the beginning but my family loves what they are bringing to our community and we have had nothing but amazing service and food every time. Thank you Rejoice for bringing vegan food to our little community.

Unfortunately, the customer service is terrible. The restaurant made multiple mistakes on our curbside pick-up order and refused to remedy the situation properly. Its not about getting a refund for me (which was never offered for the incomplete order), rather its the courtesy and goodwill of basic customer service. An excited trip to the chic, plant-based restaurant, quickly became an inconvenience due to poor customer service. As a local, I am very disappointed.

I was excited to try this place out because there are not many local places who cater to vegan/vegetarian dishes in the area. The staff was extremely disorganized. When we stepped into the establishment the staff members did not acknowledge we were even there. We stood there for several minutes before addressing the staff for assistance. We had a 7pm reservation and were advised we could not be seated because there was a group of 5 still in the area we reserved. The staff member had stated the globe had an hour time frame for usage and the party of 5 had far exceeded their limit. The staff member suggested we could sit at an empty table outside, not the globe we reserved, until a table opened. We waited for 20-25mins with no assistance from ANY staff member. No one ever came to take our orders, ask if we needed any assistance, no update on our reservations, nothing! After 25mins of being ignored we decided to just get up and leave. Absolutely terrible customer service. I would rate this experience a zero if possible!

I recently ordered a few items from Rejoice. I was very excited to try Rejoice, as I am gluten free. I usually do not post reviews, but I was so disappointed in the price, quality and presentation of the food. None of the dishes that I ordered looked anything like the photos--which I now believe to be stock photos pulled from the internet. I inquired about the house made burger, but was told by the employee taking my order that it was just the Impossible patty. I decided against ordering the burger, as I have already tried the Impossible Burger. Of the items I did order, I had celery that was completely rotten and several items were missing. In my opinion, a vegan restaurant should have FRESH veggies! My food was also room temp upon pick up and I was early to pick up my order. I paid nearly $40.00 for three items and I did not even receive everything I ordered.When I picked up my food, the staff appeared to be high school students doing the best they can. I do not blame the staff. Very disappointing experience and I do not plan on returning.

This is about my fifth or sixth time at Rejoice now and the experience keeps getting better. It seems like they are working out those new business kinks which I know happens. They keep us very informed on Facebook so that helps a lot and they seem pretty attentive to everyones messages.

This is my husabnd and my fifth time at Rejoice and we absolutely love it!!! Had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Ron, this morning and he is such a DELIGHT! We just became vegetarian about 6 months ago and he explained everything about Rejoice, the menu and made us a special dish we asked for. Very happy they are here in Geneva.

Got the jackfruit burger. They forgot to put the sauce on it but that wouldn’t have saved it. The burger looked like a beat up fast food burger and tasted even worse. The sweet potato side was tasty, it’s really sweet, almost a dessert. I definitely won’t be going back to this place which is a shame because vegan restaurants are rare in the suburbs.

Food and services were excellent. Courteous and professional staff . Perfect place to be in with friends.

Best vegan donuts Ive ever had. I have had them in the past at other establishments and they can be hard or grainy. These were light and fluffy and they were nice enough to give my son a cookie monster on the house.

The food was delicious, the workers were extremely friendly, we will definitely be back! I love how healthy and fresh the food is. I felt like I was still getting a solid meal even though it was plant based. Highly recommend the side of sweet potatoes and the chai!

Absolutely loved the meal we got from Rejoice for our family tonight. We ordered take out and our kids absolutely loved the food and trust me they are picky eaters. I see that there may be some inconsistency issues but as a new business i am sure they will work them out. Wish you guys the best of luck and highly recommended for those little picky eaters.

Was really excited to find a vegan place nearby. But was VERY disappointed. My wife and I ordered for pickup. The first disappointment was the food was cold; I arrived quite early and waited patiently for the food, so no excuses here. Also, the portion sizes were way different than what was shown online. The picture, especially of the crunch meal, was super misleading. Both our sandwiches were about 3x2.5 inches on cheap, plain rolls (no bun or cibatta as described). Ridiculously tiny portions that didnt taste great and were not worth the $15 for each meal.

Buyer beware. I wanted to love these because my daughter has celiac disease but not only did these look nothing like the picture, they for some reason are soggy and all full of fluid and taste so gross! I also paid for a dozen but by the time I got home and opened the box I realized they only gave me 10. Also note they are mini donuts not regular size. Super disappointing.

The dishes are priced very fairly and the servings are surprisingly generous. Theyll recommend you get one item from each section of the menu, which I agree with. Worth a visit.

Rejoice is our sister company and we could not be more proud of the amazing team there. Great ingredients, quick service and can we just talk about how cool the igloos are?! If you havent tried eating in one yet, its truly an experience you have to try.

I cant go to Chipotle because it always makes me ill but the create your own bowl here was great and didnt mess with my stomach.

Ordered the Sweet Kale Salad, it was delicious. It is big enough to feed two people. I also had the Immunity Booster Juice, it was so refreshing. It was exactly what I was expecting! Definitely going back.

We were really excited to stop by this new all veg restaurant in town but were slightly disappointed. I ordered the Tacos de Hongo which were a bit plain and mostly veggies and no mushroom. The tortillas were cold and flavorless. Boyfriend had the Guacamole Burger and he had no complaints about it. I did feel for what we had (no drinks) it was overpriced. I want this place to thrive so badly I would be willing to support it in the future if I see changes to their menu or prices.

I wanted to love this place- we so desperately need plant based options in the suburbs. The online ordering process was simple but our order was not correct. Certain ingredients were not in items- for instance the faux meat was left out of the tacos which essentially made it a tortilla with a few veggies inside. The falafal was not good which is weird since its normally veggie anyway. The juice blend was great! They do have the little octagon things which are nice during all this craziness but we did not dine in so i cant speak to their comfort.

The food and the service were both amazing!! This place is a true treasure!

Overall the service was awesome! We were checked in on plenty, and our food came out at a regular pace. We had glasses of drinks and water always full, and the waiter was very knowledgeable about the items to order!

Unlike everyone else, I wanted to hate this place haha Im a BIG meat eater and vegan food is always pretty gross. But my daughter is vegan so we gave them a shot. I gotta say I was impressed. The donuts were suprising soft, the service was great and it made my daughter happy and thats all that matters to me. Great new addition to the tri-city area.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place, my first time going, makes the vegan community look like a joke. Not only does their pictures NOT MATCH the outcome of the food whatsoever, the customer service was horrible. The same girl was very nice as I called to ask questions as I was getting curbside pick up and wasn’t familiar with the menu until I got there for my food. Also they apparently had no ripe avocados and half their menu items come with avocado or guac and it was not noted on the site. Also the donuts I ordered the next morning were delicious but VERY small and I did not see that noted anywhere they were smaller than usual. My sandwich was suppose to come with red cabbage and there was literally none/very very scarce and literally no jackfruit sausage mix. Like actually very very small crumbs. I kept telling the lady the order was wrong/lacking the main things and she didn’t even remember the order/was denying that it was ordered after it was only 20 minutes since I got it. She then said after 10 minutes going back and forth with me that they could remake the order but it’s already 7:52 and they close in 8 minutes sooo”. Did not offer refund or anything else and barely apologized. At the very least make your menu pictures more realistic. Or actually put the ingredients in your meals. I will be adding pictures to happy cow for reference.

Support our black owned, family businesses! I am a part of a local moms group on Facebook and I am so disappointed in our community for calling this business out for a little mishap that one the children of our community that they hired made at the restaurant. They are doing everything they can to support our little town and giving our babies a chance to work during all this mess going on.I met Bernard and the owner Rob a few weeks ago and they were nothing but amazing to my girlfriend and I. We ordered about $50 worth of food and drinks and wed do it again. Shame on all yall moms out there.

I understand you guys are new but we waited over an hour for our food..and for only one item. The rest of our food was made apparently before the “fuse issue”, so it was cold and mushy by the time we ate. No one called or emailed saying the food would be late, and the blonde inside didn’t have her mask on and was standing over a big bowl of rice. After having a COVID issue and you guys having to shut down for 2 weeks, I would think you would enforce the masks more, especially since you are in the food industry. The food seemed like it would be good fresh, and had some good flavor so I’m giving you 2 stars... I’ll try it again in a few months to see if the new business struggles subside and the masks are back on like they should be.

Heard a lot about this place and had to try it out for ourselves. We ordered the breakfast sandwich, the sweet potatoes and the chia pudding. The reason I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars is that the breakfast sandwich tasted great but I wish it was a little bigger for my husband. But the sweet potatoes and chia pudding were probably the best Ive ever had. We will be going back to try more of their menu.

I went this afternoon for the Valentines Day Special with my girlfriend. We had placed a reservation for the igaloo and as we walked in we were told that it was too cold and that we should stay inside, which led to confusion on if they are heated or not. We were invited to eat inside, which was also confusing. It is a bike shop, and the cafe is located in the front. So we order the vegan chili, zucchini and meatballs, and cheesecake. The chili comes out cold and we ask for it to be reheated. The zoodles werent prepared properly and were undercooked and wet (not from the sause). The vegan meat from the chili is the same vegan meat from the meatballs too; so flavor was the same just presented differently. And the cheesecake wasnt stored properly, the cherries were frozen and you could see the freezer burn on the cherry glaze. Both the chocolate and cherry cheesecake were clearly bought from a store too. There was nothing redeeming to this meal. Customer service was okay but its clear that they are inexperienced and it struck me that everything was made with a microwave, or that it was prepared in a convential kitchen and then microwaved to serve. We had a pumpkin latte and coffee too, both came out luke-warm. I wanted to say something but didnt as I didnt want to be that guy on a date continuing to ask for more stuff from the kitchen.

Food was great, but service was struggling. Servers were very friendly, but the food came out at random times and not all together.

Everything else was absolutely incredible. The chefs here are magicians from another realm. True artists. Amazing!

After a long time coming, this plant based restaurant is what the tri city area needed! A small town business that does not disappoint! The Chef, Dana, is very meticulous about what is being served to the community, both in taste and presentation!

I made a reservation a day in advance and we even called to say were running a bit late and were told igloos are reserved for 1 hour so youll loose time if youre late. We were there 15 min late and they had already given our igloo to someone else! The site doesnt say youve to be there 30 min early for your outside reservation. Plus the food didnt even look fresh! What a waste!!

I enjoy eating at Rejoice often when traveling for work. The foods are creative, and the service friendly and prompt. All of it keeps me coming back.

Great food, friendly & helpful staff, good chai. Its pretty pricey, but everything is fresh & its the only all vegan restaurant around.

I would like to start off saying I had high hopes after looking at what I thought was their pictures on the website. After receiving the food, I cant help but feel scammed. My family and I decided to try out this place even though the prices were on the more expensive side. MY BIGGEST REGRET! We all ordered in advance and when we got there the food was not ready which was fine, we were willing to wait but I couldnt help but notice how unorganized everything felt. Any who while standing there I noticed that one of the employees was not wearing gloves, which I didnt trip about either. I kindly asked that they remake the part that she made because its COVID hellooooo. They were nice about it. Fast forward we all receive our food and we all are in shock of whats in the boxes. THE FOOD LOOKED NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES ON THE WEBSITE! Which we later found out that THIS COMPANY USES STOCK PHOTOS FOR PICTURES. So dont think youre getting anything CLOSE to whats on the website. The most disappointing part of it all is spending almost $15 on a wrap to get a folded tortilla with ingredients on the side. The brown rice that came with it smelled like mildew water. I was extremely disappointed with the quality from the restaurant. I would suggest saving a few bucks and going to Chipotle. I usually dont write reviews but this was a MUST! Also google reviews dont reflect them, check yelp;)

Food wasn’t too bad. Not worth $15 though. I got the guac burger with sweet potato fries. The pictures are misleading. Probably will not come back here
