We stop here heading from Buffalo to Syracuse everytime we make a trip. Very pleasant staff, and my husband LOVES their adult beverages.The location is ideal as it is right on the waterfront, and the park next to it is cute for the kids. If you continue to walk alongside the water you will come to a GORGEOUS Welcome Center with an Awesome Pirate Ship Park, Pier, Restaurant, and Music. There is also a beautiful waterfall out front, which is great for taking photos.There is plenty of shade, AND SEATING provided by the business, as well as the city for the Public.This area is breath taking, and it seems like everytime we stop there is always something going on. This last time we were in the area they had a marathon happening.A Bucket List Favorite for our family. 🌿💦

We visited this area for a long weekend getaway. We decided to rent a double kayak from longs pier, and they were extremely friendly and pleasant to do business with. The owner had to run and grab paperwork for us to fill out, which took only about 5 minutes, but he decided to give us a discount for waiting. Very friendly and would definitely recommend! After kayaking we got ice cream later on that night as well- delicious :)

My best friend told me all about this place and I was lucky enough to stop by on their opening day for the season this year. I was pleased with the beautiful view and the prices were very very reasonable. I enjoyed time with my son taking in the view and enjoying the ice cream. I got to chat with the staff and they were friendly and super nice to both me and my son. The owner even spent time asking our plans for that day and making conversation. The passion that he and his workers have for ice cream and his business shows! They truly seemed to care about chatting with the guests. We will definitely come back to this awesome lakeside ice cream stand with Seneca lake views, a fun playground, and some yummy mint chocolate chip. Recommend 10 out of 10!

Great ice cream. Had the sea salt truffle and toasted coconut. Im not the biggest coconut fan but I have to say it was very good that after sampling I was impressed. The staff was very patient with us and let us sample multiple things before making our final decisions. Husband had pineapple slushi which he said was good.

Love their wine ice cream. Wish I got to try the Cabernet chocolate flavor. Seems like its a popular flavor. The cherry merlot was delicious.

The best place for a treat in the FLX! Great ice cream, wonderful staff and service. The staff is always smiling and delivering awesome customer service. My family thoroughly enjoyed our visit this weekend to get our favorite flavors- mint chocolate chip and sea salt caramel. The macaroni salad is to die for! Yum! Thanks for always being reliable, Long Pier! We can’t wait to come back.

Ice cream was good but service needed help! We were scolded by an employee for opening the umbrella at a table we sat at to eat our ice cream. Nowhere did it state to ask for assistance and since we had it up without damage, Im not sure what the point was of coming to our table to yell at us for it while we sat with our kids?! And when you have a toddler working the register it seems you would have some courtesy when addressing tables with children! Ill take my business elsewhere next time :(

Everyone in our group got different flavors and we all loved it. The place is conveniently located near the pier so you can enjoy the view while youre enjoying the ice cream. I wish the staff was nicer though.

Worst service ever . The old cranky woman who took our order was rude and gave us a nasty attitude. She didn’t treat the family ahead of us like that . Never again will I come here or recommend anyone! My kids ice cream came out melted and sprinkles falling . I asked for a sample and she got up upset like she was bothered that I asked. Not to mention how expensive it is for so little ice cream. Should close down for the season or get better customer service!

I love ice cream. Until I visited Long Pier, I had never experienced Giffords and it has been consistently wonderful. I havent been a huge fan of the wine flavors, but I know others who rave about it. The location is perfect. Having ice cream while walking or sitting by beautiful Seneca Lake on a gorgeous day is incredible

Nothing to complain about! Pretty great ice cream, an awesome view, polite workers, and a decent amount of space to sit. Family friendly, and it’s something to do when the weather is nice. The lake is awesome and fun. A must if you’re in the area!

Good ice cream right on Seneca Lake. Beautiful walking path down the shore, lots of little parks for kids. Great for the family.

Even though the line can get long at times, this ice cream stand is my favorite (my phone just corrected to ice dream and I almost didnt correct it because it fits). A quick ice cream cone and walk along the lake trail makes for an evening that cannot be beat.

Nearby, best ice cream ever. Beware, long lines on sunny afternoons. Cash only below certain amount. And to buy delicious wine-flavored ice cream (with alcohol), you need a proper id!

I felt like that place doesnt deserve to be open, the workers were a miserable old lady who despises being there, and some guy who smelled like weed. My ice cream came out melted and it was like 6 bucks, when my moms came out she said yeah my cherry fell, may I have another one please? Now let me tell you Ive never seen anyone play the quit game as well as that lady. And the dude was just chilling there. Five seconds later shes like NEXT! And it was just us, nobody else, no wonder why no one comes there😂

The long pier ice cream shop is a OK ice cream place it is also kind of expensive for some of their ice cream but it is absolutely delicious it overlooks Seneca lake and they also sell different graphs and kayaks and canoes to use while you are there a few choose they have benches and a peer that goes out into the Seneca lake beautiful place to go
