The first time, I got henna and indigo which are very good deal, I also recommend my friends this store for Henna. then today I am impressed with delicious fresh bakery at the cashier. There were Samosa for 50 cents each, which mild ad spicy varieties. They all have spicy Kachori for 99 cents, but the crust was harder and thicker, and saltier. I prefer the samosas. I’ll go back to explore. :) I think I found a little gem here.

A small little India store. Well arranged and organized. There is a good parking space. Since it’s a small store they have the required main grocery and vegetables. It would be good if they have more veggies. They have samosas too. The Jalapeño samosa is my favorite .☺️☺️☺️

Good selection, nice varieties, and reasonable price. But in two items in our single visit, we were about to get charged higher than the posted price. We had to walk back, take a picture, and show it to the cashier. The response was a nonchalant, ok, sorry. Seems similar reviews are common.

This is really nice store. A stop shop for Indian and Nepali pantries. Youll find just about everything here, right from rasam to jaljeera powder. The prices are great! Theres also a section for your toiletries, and the selection is great. Right from Mysore sandle soap to aloevera gel. Also, they have samosas at the counter, what more can you want!

India groceries - limited stuff but usually get most of what u need.

Review specifically related to their COVID-19 time measures: Some of the employees dont wear face mask. The store in itself is very small and therefore they should limit the number of people entering the store at a time. During evening hours it is crowded with people especially in the billing area which is very scary, there is hardly any space to social distance. I would recommend going to the Gaithersburg India Bazaar during this pandemic which is much bigger in area and have more products .

The groceries at this place are very expensive. Instead the indian snacks are very nice and has all the different mixes and snacks. Some of the items are cheaper, but for groceries I believe that Lotte Plaza is a bit better.

Really these people need to move to a better location where there is sufficient parking, anytime after 3:30pm the parking situation is a hazardous because of the kumon. I will not shop here until they do something about the parking. I would rather pay more but go to Dana Bazar the next lot over, for my shopping, at least they have a better parking.

There are 3-4 indian stores in the Germantown area but this is the only store which is well stocked up. The aisles are arranged well and are consistently stocked up. I love the haldirams gupshup which I dont find in any other store. In here too they dont have the stock year round. Just comes up few months of the year. Other than normal groceries they have good snacks during evening time as well. The jalepeno samosa and the lahori samosa are good.

We recently moved to Frederick and found this store close at Germantown. Initially we were excited to find some Indian groceries. However, we recently (~a month ago) bought a bag of swad kabuli channa. We opened it a month after and found fungal growth inside. We decided to return this product and initially the store agreed for an exchange but the store owner disagreed while I was about to buy $40 worth if merchandise. Anyways this will be my last dealing with this store. Buyer beware they have a 7 day return policy. Take your business elsewhere.To the store owner: good job winning $10 worth of battle but you have lost $500-1000 worth of business per year from today on.
