Very nice place! Huge variety of hardware items.Im glad we have it in Germantown, a much better alternative to those chain stores like low-es and homeless depot.

Employees are always very nice and helpful. Are eager to help you find what you are looking for and make suggestions if you would like. Kinda pricey on some items, but no days you have to make extra if you want good customer service.

The people there will actually stop and help you! The store has so much more than you would expect for the size.

Need more help, at least on the weekends

This place is a proper old school Hardware store and has become my go to place. The customer service is top notch. Gtown Hardware also has those little specialty parts you cant find at the big box stores. For example instead of having to replace my entire shower valve which requires cutting the pipes and reinstalling a new valve. I was able to simply replace the small rubber seal. The difference being $6 and a 20 minute DIY job versus an $80 valve, finding and hiring a plumber to remove and reinstall the shower valve $200??. Lastly this place just has that old school charm of a full service specialty store that you dont find at big box, and it has knowledgeable staff that you will never find at online retailers.

Germantown Hardware has almost everything youd need from a hardware store. Very impressed with the selection for automotive bolts and such!

They had every I asked for and more. The staff ask what I wanted to do. Then they walk me to those products and told me how to us it.

I think this place used to be an Ace Hardware. It feels a lot like one, though more local. Good vibes, alright prices. The have Hillman boxes for individual pieces of hardware, springs, nuts, bolts, etc.

Best kept secret in Memphis or Germantown! I am here to tell you friendly faces everyone has a smile on their face and seem to really enjoy working there! My favorite is Ms.Vicky! Vicky is knowable, sweet, concerned about your project, helpful with out being a know it all or pushy! She is the perfect retail person she should give classes in customer care at The U of Memphis because she can write the book! This store is a treasure for our community!

I would not buy anything​ from this store. I talked to the lawn and garden department about buying a trimmer and received some information that I thought was a joke. The worker insisted on informing me that if I used any trimmer commercially that it would void the warranty. I advised him that his statement was untrue as some trimmers do carry commercial warranties. Instead of being educated he proceeded to tell me he didnt want to argue. Ill take my business elsewhere and suggest you do the same.

Had trouble with mower going dead after 30 minutes. Took it to them and told them the issue. Next day I got a call it was ready. Charged $36 to clean carburetor. Mowed half the yard and stopped. Second time, it mowed with no issues. Third time, it stopped again. Took it back to them within a month from previous repair. I got a call it was ready. Got their and it was a little over $100 for new carburetor. Was upset considering I just paid $39 to clean 4th he carburetor.
