Purchased my first AR from Reed this morning. Store was clean, guns well displayed and organized. Staff was friendly, personable, and answered all my questions. The weapon I bought was actually cheaper than advertised on their website, which is always a plus. Going to Cabelas, Sportsmans or Bass Pro you will get the selection, but not the pricing or customer service given here at Reed. Excellent experience.

Kicked me out for not wearing a mask. Went somewhere else and spent over a thousand. Ill never set foot in there again, cowards. Just look how they respond to less than favorable reviews. Name calling and rude. Awesome.

I recently went in and bought a 6.5 creedmore savage axis. Say what you want about the gun, but it is accurate and shoots wonderful. These guys were amazing, not just because I really like the gun. They were knowledgeable, fair and treated me like a person when I walked through the door. I will return to this store for ammunition and any future firearms. Thank you for a great experience.

Purchased my fist gun from here. The guys here are sweet. Some random guy was trying to show me his gun in the store but the workers were safe and ended that immediately by taking his gun and setting it aside until he left (he got it back of course). Great customer service and the process was smooth and quick.

When I move to a new place, I like to do my research and seek out the shop I will be supporting and frequenting. Suffice it to say, this place will definitely not be it. I have been in the weapons field for many years as Active Duty, a Private Military Contractor, and as a DoD civilian; needless to say I am familiar with the firearm buying process and have frequented many prior shops. First, although Ive never encountered it before, I do not mind the ID required to look at a product. But after providing 2 forms of ID one of which was a Vet ID, the person insisted he needed my Drivers License for who knows what, even though there is more info provided on the Vet ID. Ok, its a first, but fine. Then while I am looking at a weapon, and request a magazine (which wasnt readily available, another 1st) to better ascertain the grip and mag release, I was responded to blankly: its in the back. Really, too much work for you huh guy? Terrible customer service, 0 stars if I could. Oh and their transfer fee is laughable its almost 3x more than the neighboring shops.

My husband and I are usually here one to two times a month and have never been disappointed. Matt goes above and beyond for his customers and I cant say enough great things about everyone that works here.

I purchased a firearm and a few other accessories from Reed Firearms. Although I am a retired LEO, I am by no means a gun expert. I know different brands and how to fire one. Thats about it. Shxt customer service. I asked to see a fire arm and the guy started acting all scared and threatened making excuses as to why he couldn’t show me it. Junk place. Junk people running this shxt show. Take your money into a place that is actually worth it and they respect you like Arizona Fire Arms or Guns Etc. Or Pistol Parlor. All these gun shops have better inventory and prices than this joke of a “gun shop”.

Excellent customer service, did most of the transaction over the phone and e-mail. When I arrived for the last part it was super fast and easy. They communicated extremely well. Would highly recommend them. Love supporting family owned operations over these big box places.

If zero stars was available it is more fitting. We went here because of all the good reviews. Maybe those were before when customers mattered. Worst service I have ever experienced. Took my older mother to look at a hand gun. Was told she can not even look at it without a $50 non refundable deposit and a full background check. I explained we wanted to make sure she could pull the slide back due to different guns and her arthritis, remember shes getting older. I will be certain to tell everyone I know how deplorable the customer service was. Supply and demand during a pandemic is one thing, but come on.

Was a bit unsure what to buy. They answered all my questions, even the dumb ones. Help me secure the right gun for my personal protection and made the process as quick and painless as possible during very uncertain times.

I had a horrible experience at Sportsmans Warehouse where I waited for 4 hours and then they closed the counter for the night when i was one person away from picking up 2 guns I already paid for. I decided I didnt want to wait 4 hours again and didnt want to give them my business so I got a refund and decided to check the local gun stores.Enter my experience with Reed Firearms. I enetered around noon and was greeted by 2 employees upon entering. Both were helpful and nice. I found a firearm I wanted and also asked if they had some 9mm ammo which I havent been able to fimd anywhere. One of the employees had me fill out the background check answered all of my questions and was very helpful. Once paperwork was started I was out within 15-20 mins, and they were able to supply me with 100 rounds of 9mm that was not ridiculously priced. I am a very happy customer and I will definetly shop from them again and wish that I supported this local business sooner.

Very informative and listens well to what your looking for. Had a hard time finding the right case for my Ruger SR40. Went to bigger stores and had no luck. Very patient and knowledgeable. My visit, first time, was on a Wednesday around July 3rd. I would definitely visit again and buy from Reed Firearms. As it turns out Wednesday is a slow day at the store. I came about 10:30 and left at noon. Matt showed extreme patience with a beginner (me) and answered every question in understandable terms. Great customer service. Girlfriend and I went in for specific handgun. We were just a bit late, store was busy and last one was purchased just before we arrived. They told us they could take our info and give us a call when they had in stock. We thought ok, but didnt expect a call for few weeks if at all.. That same day they called as promised and we had our purchase that eve before close. Find another shop doing that especially during height of crazy pandemic times . And no price guaging. Matt is top notch, he can’t control what was built and what is new in a box, but if something does happen do to a manufacturer issue? He is on it and very driven to make his customer happy unlike others that tell you (whelp you have to contact the manufacturer and send it in) Matt understands that nobody wants to deal with this by themselves and has great contacts and resources to quickly resolve any issue, I have purchased a dozen firearms this year and will continue to do business with reed firearms, he is fair with very fair prices, unfortunately I just come across his business and was unaware of him but now that I do and know of him I will definitely buy from him again, check his online store out also, good people

He was patient and easygoing. He also allowed me to hold and compare different handguns so I could get an idea of how things might feel and aim. Ive purchased several firearms from Reeds firearms. The service has always been excellent, friendly, and timely. Its not a big shop but youre cared for directly by the owner and he has a fairly good selection on hand, and of course the ability to order whenever you want. The pricing structure is also excellent usually about the same as online if you include the FFL receiving charges. I highly recommend this great little gun shop.

Having heard about this shop from a friend, I decided to make the drive from Southern Arizona to check it out. So glad I did. The level of knowledge along with the personal service made it worth the trip. I was in the market for a new firearm, but not quite sure what I wanted to get. Matt took the time to explain the pluses and minuses of each weapon I was considering. There was no doubt in my mind that I made the right decision. With numerous locations of firearm dealers to choose from, you wont go wrong by making this your shop of choice.

Customer service was very bad. We are happy to follow the rules but the attitude was super bad. It’s all about the attitude.

First time coming to this shop. I’ve been in literally DOZENS of shops. The friendliness and service was HORRIBLE! In 20 years, I’ve never been asked for my ID to just hold a gun from the cabinet. Then, when testing the action of a Walther .22, was yelled at from behind the counter not to dry fire it! Again, never heard of such a thing.The Walther website says this, “Yes, it is safe to dry-fire your P22. Just snap the safety in its downward position and dry-fire away. The firing pin will not touch the breech, or a live round will be set off. Try to do your dry-firing without a live round in the chamber.”Maybe you guys should know what you’re selling before you yell at your customers.I was really motivated to pick up a new 9mm and a .22 pistol today, just have to take my business somewhere else today!

When you enter you are immediately greeted with a smile and a handshake making you feel right at home. I was never pressured to buy and the prices are extremely low. First off, prices are unbeatable right off the bat - no need to attempt negotiations, its already lower than anyone or at least the same as. Second, this guy has spent hours consulting with me and my friends about options and models and so forth. The service couldnt be better, the guy is incredibly knowledgeable, products are often in stock or quickly ordered. No reason to do business anywhere else.

First the comments with complaints shouldnt make you not want to come here... one was for 10 bucks, the other was a manufacturer issue not a store issue, and the other had a background issue and the store couldnt hold a firearm for 5 days.
