I was told by an associate that there would be someone in printing services. Waited for her lunch to be over so she could tell me only self service was available. Usually never a problem with the staff.
Jim was excellent and knowledgeable. Helped me find exactly what was looking for after Best Buy let me down.

The least helpful office supply store I have ever been to. Two machines 5 people waiting to print and copy. The woman behind the counter says prints cost more behind the counter so she recommends doing it yourself. It’s been 15 minutes in this line. How about appreciating the burden and offering some help. This is horrible. I hate staples but at least they’re helpful in these situations. I think it’s time to switch.

I disagree with the 3.8 rating. I think this place is a 5, and Ill tell you why. The one worker, I didnt get her name, but she walked me through the process of self printing off of a USB. She was lovely and had no problem at all helping.
Somebody needs to get fired. The self service printers havent worked for weeks. Instead taking the orders at the desk and providing customer service there are numerous people standing in line in front of the printing station waiting to print.
This store has the worst service in printing department. I went there and there is no one in front of me in the line yet I have to wait more than 5 minutes because the two employees behind the counter are talking and then when they offered the help he told me that their minimum print fee is $2.50 and if I want to I can print at the self print machine which that one is worse because it takes forever and it put a $5 hold on your card! Also the person who was helping behind the counter was not wearing a Mask!!! I never had a good service here.
This is my go to store for all printing and faxing needs. I moved 20 miles away, but drive back to Gilbert because the staff is so friendly and helpful.
Great service from the salesperson. BUT, a homeless person was sleeping in the office furniture section with a pile of their stuff and no one was doing anything about it. Given we are in a pandemic and COVID 19 spreads easily, its completely unsanitary. Stay away.
Super service! I bought a top of the line office chair with an extended warranty. I later had an issue with the chairs hydraulics sinking. Trevor and David were very helpful in resolving my issue completely.
Store is ok. But driver was on phone, was flippant about wearing a mask (didnt have one), and delivered to the wrong place and I had to deliver it to the correct destination myself. Sorry about putting a 2 star review here but I tried corporate but the 1800 number didnt even ring.
I recently placed an order through this store for a tablet and an office chair. Unfortunately, the chair arrived damaged. I took it to the store directly to get an exchange. I really appreciate the prompt assistance and the willingness to replace the broken chair so I didnt have to drive clear out of my way and didnt have to wait almost a week for another chair to be shipped. Its refreshing to find such good customer service.
I wanted to write about my printing experience with Faith at this OfficeMax location. Faith was absolutely wonderful in helping me print multiple items. I felt that Faith genuinely was happy to help me and was very kind and friendly. She was attentive and listened to what I needed to have done. She has been the most helpful staff member that I have encountered at this store. She is a true asset to your team. Thank you, Faith.
Was unable to return something I purchased online to this store due to COVID restrictions. The staff was nice about it but it seemed odd that I couldnt return something in an unopened box.
Flawless experience. I submitted a decently sized online print order as well as a pick-up order for pens. I got a confirmation that the pens were ready within minutes. I called to get an estimated time for the print order. One of the managers (sorry, cant remember the name) pulled up the order right away and verified with the print center associate that she would be starting it immediately and it would be ready within an hour. 20 minutes later I got a call telling me the order was complete. I went to pick up the order and the print associate (Wen) was cheerful and welcoming and had the order waiting for me and it was printed and cut exactly how I had requested and the prints were perfect. Walked in and walked out within 5 minutes. Fantastic experience and I couldnt have asked for more. Thank you!
Like the convenience of uploading a file for printing and picking it up in store. Prints are much cheaper here than at the FE/K stores. Open Sundays as well which works perfectly for me as a realtor.
Dropped off a simple copy job, although a large one- the guy at the copy center was rude, didnt know how to add page numbers to a document and told me it would cost thousands of dollars and when I called the next day after speaking with a different office max that told me it just prints right onto the page and cost $24.99, the people working here claimed that they didnt know how to do that and the guy that I spoke with yesterday was the store manager so whatever he said goes. I am going to get it to take it to the office max that knows what they are doing. He also told me it would take at least 2 days, the office max on baseline said they could do it in one. Will not be back and do not recommend to others.
Deserves better ratings now. Very helpful and polite staff here. Will help with office services or finding stuff in store. Been here a lot with different employees and all of them were great.
This location has always been a great spot for me. The store is usually not crowded and kept clean. The staff is friendly, helpful and prompt. I have been in several times and received an average or above average experience every time.
Office Max is starting to look like Kmart and we know how they ended up. Seriously, you should consider updating your stores to a more modern look.
Terrible customer service. I was the only customer in the store, but couldnt get any of the several emoyees to help me find the Christmas stationery. I needed a couple of copies at the copy center--again the only one there. My copies could be ready in FOUR days.
Worst customer service in print. Not helpful and extremely rude when it came to customized print. Just went to staples and they did the job in few min. So disappointing
I was taken aback by how rundown this store looked. Even more disappointing is that after spending 20-30 minutes looking for a good office chair, we were never approached by anyone. Went down the street to a competitor... Night and day difference.
Two stops at this location and both have earned this rating. Most recent was 2 weeks ago. I went in to have copies made. I asked if what I wanted was possible (copies with holes to be able to do spiral binding later without making holes on the text). The original spiral wire was smaller, they noted, but they could of course make the spiral holes without hitting the text. After making the copies they came over and showed me that, of course it was not going to fit the holes, we told you ours was larger. So, now I am stuck with 100 copies of something that is useless to me.The second incident was in November 2014. Items in an Office Depot / Office Max ad from the local newspaper showed a deal to do a trade in on an old printer with select models to be also purchased. However, neither of those models that were required for purchase were in stock. In fact, one of the models has never been carried at the store. The other has been sold out for quite some time. In order to take advantage of this deal you need to drive 30 minutes in any direction to a different store. Bait and switch to be sure by the local store. They initially blamed it on being an Office Depot ad...until I showed them the logo OfficeMax at the top.

Not kind. Even though the staff is not working, she says she got a lot of work and tell me to visit tommorw, which takes just 10 minutes work. I asked what time to visit tommorw and she says anytime. I dont know what she wants to do. They took the wrong person at stationary shop for print..

We purchased a desk. Our American Express card was billed for $293.10. That was on March 7, 2017. On March 10, 2017 our American Express card was billed a second time for $293.10. On March 11, 2017 I spoke to a representative of Office Max who told me since the sale showed pending on their end for the second charge I can simply call American Express and tell them to cancel the charge. So I called AmEx and they said they could not do this. I call Office Max back and they told me they would reverse the charge and I would see this in two days. Guess what, no refund. On the 14th I went to the Office Max office and spoke to the manager. He said he would make sure the credit would go through the next morning because he was personally going to do it himself. Today is the 20th and guess what? I still have not received my refund. I call their office and ask for the manager. I was told to give my name and he will call me tomorrow. I have one word for their customer service and that is pathetic.
I was not happy with the cleanliness of the mens bathroom. The urinal was filthy and looked like no one has scrubbed it or replaced the urinal cake in over a year.
I went to this location to have a few binders made up at the print shop. The process was quick, the employees were friendly, and the binders looked great!
