Ace Hardware employees are well known for their helpfulness, and this Ace is no exception. I choose Ace over the Big Box stores for this reason, and I feel comfortable shopping there simply because of the smaller size. Still packed with what you need, you dont get lost in the size of it like you can do at the other stores.

Want to give praise to two employees Zach and Logan. From the minute I walked into the store they were very helpful in finding what I needed and took the extra steps to make sure as a customer I was satisfied with my experience. Because of them ace now has a life long customer thanks guys!

Clean, helpful, friendly and didnt make me feel like they were hovering over me

I recently moved to the neighborhood and have visited this ACE Hardware multiple times. Always had a great experience and the employees have always been willing to help.Except today October, 6 2021 when I purchased lots of PVC parts and a piece of a PVC pipe that I need cut to a length of 4ft.The older gentleman that helped me treated me as if I was trying to steal or get away with something.To say the least I felt discriminated for being a brown person and for speaking with a foreign accent!Next time I need something from a hardware store ACE on Guadalupe and Higley wont be my preferred stop!

Tgey did not have the items I was looking for. However, when I said I was going to look in the tool section, they walked beside me the whole time I was in the store. I mean RIGHT BESIDE me (hovering). Kind of weird. Id look at one thing and put it back. The attendant, an older guy, would then ask: Okay, what else do you want to look at? This process would repeat itself throughout the store. I decided early on that I was not going to by ANYTHING from my neighborhood hardware store. I drug the visit out a little bit, then left. It will be a while before I go back. I guess at 68 years old I look like Im going to steal their stuff. Sheesh!

I went to three (3) Ace Hardware stores today. This review is Gilbert Ace at Higley/Guadalupe. No luck thev3 different times Ive been to this location and wont go back. Friendly enough but dont know their stuff or dont have the stuff.Crismon Ace is much better. FRONTIER ACE is by far the best a solid 5stars in Apache Junction.

Newer store, fantastic array of products. Very limited selection/supply of exterior screws, when I was there.

Went to go purchase a sthil chainsaw $400, It was missing the bar & chain. I asked if they could sell it to me but discount it since it was missing a chain & bar, They said no full price but than they said they wouldnt sell it me because its not complete. I own a tree service & spend a lot of money at ace, I find it very unprofessional & rude that they couldnt just sell me the chainsaw & discount it a little. Defanitely lost my business at this location & they shouldnt be putting stuff on the shelves if its not complete.

Great place to often get better prices than the 2 big stores. Rarely do they not have what Im looking for!

Clean, organized, well-stocked for its size, and friendly, knowledgable staff. Its what a neighborhood hardware store should be. While convenienced-priced, its extremely convenient and we can get back to work quickly on the stuff around the house that matters.

This may be the cleanest, neatest hardware store Ive ever been in. Friendly, helpful employees who went the extra mile to get things for me that I couldnt reach from my wheelchair. I saw a lot of great gift items in a range of prices. Sending my husband in later today to look at the BBQ spices and sauces. Overall, I am very impressed. Oh, huge selection of munchies too.

They dont have a lumber selection here, but plenty of staff to walk you too what you are looking for. It may be a little more than home depot, but I prefer it over the big box stores any day. Plus by shopping here you are supporting small businesses.

Dropped off my screen doors for repair. I was told 2 to 3 weeks until completion. Its been 4 weeks. I called in to see if there was a completion date in sight. I was told they cannot locate my screens or my invoice number. I repeated the address and store number on the receipt to make sure I had the correct store, and I did. I was told a manager would contact me in a few days. When my items are lost, I would hope that I can talk to someone a little more immediate than a few days.I will update my review if I can get my property back, but as of now, I cant give anymore than a single star based on my personal experience.

So tried curbside and it was a very bad experience. First the store did not have my order in system. When I call because the website did not show any information about pick up for 3 hours. I was told that they were having issues. They did not have my order yet and probably would ever get it. I gave them the information and ask them to have it ready . I went to pick it up and call for curbside . First call went to a recording, second time was put on hold and was hang up on. Third time went to recording. So I went in to get items and was told the same thing about website. I will not go there again.

Very clean, staff very nice

A very clean, well-stocked hardware store with the nicest staff you could find. My son likes to go there after school for the traditional free popcorn bags. The staff is knowledgeable and happy to help and the prices are reasonable. There are departments in there for mixing paint, plumbing, cutting keys, replacement wagon wheels, gardening, interior lighting, HVAC... anything you could need theyve probably got at least one.

This ace is not like the others. Other aces I find everything I need. Ive come here twice and walked out empty handed.

I needed a particular tool and I didn’t know what it was (I brought the whole part inside to get fixed) and Nick, a worker here, was so kind and knowledgeable about exactly what I needed to get it fixed. He spent his time with me and explained it all. Thank you Nick!!! I don’t know what I would’ve done without his assistance.

ALERT: NO RETURNS STORE WIDE TILL AT LEAST MAY 1ST 2020. KNOW BEFORE YOU BUY. Tried to exchange a sprinkler head for the right one and was denied. No clear signs on the front entrance or cashier area stating this policy. My receipt stated different. Bad business and expect better from Ace. Have spent over 100 dollars this weekend at Ace and get denied for a sprinkler head.

They couldnt make a copy of a key that would work.

Everytime I come here I am impressed at how helpful every single person is. It isnt as big as a big orange or blue hardware store but I always end up coming here to get something specific. They have pretty much any type of screw you want. It is pretty amazing how much they carry. You dont need to go to Amazon, just ACE.

One thing I absolutely love about this place is the staff. Everyone is super helpful and unlike other hardware stores, its easy to get help and find what you need. This will probably be my new go to place simply because of the staff and how they all know the store layout and they radio ahead for an employee to meet you in that aisle. I absolutely love that.

If youre moving in or moving out this is a great place to get supplies. Very helpful people and not big like Target (WHERE I LOVE TO SHOP) easy in/out.

Noelle super friendly and helpful. she helped me find tables and chairs for Thanksgiving dinner. unfortunately the tables were defective and so went back to exchange them the day after since I would need them for xmas. The person working unfortunately was not very helpful was super irritated and annoyed with me and made it very obvious like it was my fault they were defective.. she needs to be trained.maybe noelle can give her some helpful tips on customer service.

Customer service was friendly responsible knowledgeable and made the whole place very nice there is one exception that I would like is for music to be played in the background why then youll spend more time listening and shopping then just going in and going out I appreciate everything.

I went into the Ace Hardware on Guadalupe & Higley recently to have a spare key made for my Honda Ridgeline. These keys are double sided and a challenge to make. Noelle, the Store Manager, met me with the usual open arms that this stores staff does. After the second attempt at the original key, she successfully made a key that worked without fail. I really enjoy this store, its location to my home, and the professional and courteous staff that is always available. Thanks, Team, really appreciate your efforts, always.

Not the greatest employee assistance in the bolt section, but I was able to find exactly what I needed on my own. (Except ace hardware doesnt carry Nordlocks)

I wanted to like this store. I wanted to support a smaller business. And even when I found their prices to be much more than their competitors, I had no intention to post about it, and risk hurting their business. However, after my experience today, I will NEVER set foot in this store again. I had to return an unused bottle of Murphys Oils Soap today, and when I handed it to Tami she opened the top, smelled it, and rudely said, this has been opened. I hadnt used a drop! And it had NOT been opened. I tried to explain that to her, but she cut me off, and called the manager. Tami told Donna, I dont know what happened, but somehow I made this lady mad. I went back to the shelf, and showed Tami and Donna that none of the Murphys Oil Soaps have a plastic seals on them, and asked them what they were insinuating? That I was trying to return an imposter soap?? I got my refund, but what a joke! The town is too small to be an unfriendly neighbor. Be nicer to your customers, Ace.

Iv been in several times now & have been directed to exactly what I need. Its the only place I have been able find my AC filters after going to 5 various stores in the area first before this location finally opened. Thank you!!!

This places name starts with a letter A, for Awesome, because theyre above C average when it comes to hardware. Which is E-xcellent for finding thing you need for your project. You could say theyre Ace at what they do.

Ace is close by and has some hard to find hardware, but more often I need to drive farther to Lowes or Home Depot to get what I need.

I came to Ace Hardware today because I needed to change my license plate from SC to Arizona. I must admit that I have never had to do this before and did not know what tool I needed. Joseph not only helped me to find the correct tool and replacement fasteners, he went outside with me and changed the license plate for me. I am a widow and didn’t have an idea of how to do this!
