This may be the best two hours of my week. The skills that my daughter and I are priceless and arent all just about learning to fight. A lot of the skills transfer into regular life and business. I am in a very fast paced business where adrenaline comes into play and decisions need to be made quickly and accurately. The Next Level training puts you in the same head space. There is also an interpersonal awakening that comes with this training too. The instructors are A level top tier professionals and have the highest levels of rapport and respect. The instructors truly want to teach which is a thrill when you truly want to learn.

I have been looking to change my workout style and add a component of self defense, so I decided to try Next Level. I signed up online for the 10-day trial on Wednesday and was surprised that no one from the company called me to confirm (normally Im hounded with calls whevever I sign up somewhere). I signed up for an intro class for the next day at 5:30am, which was almost 24hr notice. I read that they ask that you arrive 10mins early to your first class, so I arrived at 5:15am and waited until 5:45am (still waiting in the parking lot as I type this), and no one showed up. I was concerned about this place being a McDojo - and it might affirm those suspicions. You cannot run a company built on supposed respect and discipline and not have the company business model follow suit. I will try somewhere else.

Everyone here is wonderful to work with. The coaches are patient but firm and really great with the kids. I love the values they teach and the ways in which they are taught. We havent been here very long but have been made to feel like part of a family. Im absolutely pleased with our choice of Next Level for our sons instruction and foresee a long relationship with them. I never fail to feel as though they really care about, not just our son, but our whole familys well being and happiness.

My daughter tried multiple sports and couldnt quite get settled but she loves doing her karate with these guys.Isaiah is great with the kids, and the program in general is organized and professional. They teach actual real life defensive moves and methods and not just board breaking. The work is hard but rewarding and the belts are earned.Although a bit pricey compared to other sports, its on par with other programs in the area. They make it tough to quit however. It took many calls and even a couple of visits to stop the auto payments.

I needed to lose weight and build strength, but knew I needed more than a self-service, repetitive and mundane environment. I came into Alpha on the 3 day trial and knew I was in the right spot. I signed up for the adult, 2x a week Krav classes. After a month and a half, I wanted more and I bumped up to the unlimited package; as many classes as I wanted and multiple disciplines. The coaches have an elite and varied background, but you aren’t just a student, you are family. Sounds cliche, but it’s true. Just watched the Khabib v McGregor fight with them this weekend. So, what have I achieved in 3 months? I’ve dropped waist sizes, I’ve lost 10 pounds, and I’m learning how to defend myself and others. As I write this, I’m awaiting the results of my first belt test (but I’m pretty sure I passed).*****4 months later*****I’ve now dropped 30lbs. I continue to learn and grow. The facility continues to be top notch! The experience has been invaluable. (Yep, I passed that test and 2 more since! Orange Belt next month!)

Krav Maga is great system to learn if you are interested in defending yourself and those you love. Strip down the art and get to the basics of strikes, grappling and 360 defense. At alpha Krav Maga in Gilbert there are a group of students and coaches that believe in helping one another to accomplish the common goal of staying safe. (They also have fun)Joseph Edmunds is not only a talented instructor, technician and owner but also cares about his teams well being and growth. I started bringing my grandson to Alpha Krav Maga in Aug 2017. Master Edmondson is very knowledgeable with years of experience. You could not ask for a better person to train you. Also, Master Edmondson has established an excellent coaching staff. Ive watched my grandson train for 6 months. I questioned myself on whether I wanted to commit myself to the training or not. I decided to sign up for the Adult Krav classes. My expectations far exceeded anything of what I expected. I highly recommend bringing your family to Alpha Krav Maga.

Ive been bringing my family here for well over a year now and highly recommend it to anyone interested. Regardless of your level of experience the classes offer a good workout while learning self defense for real world scenarios.

Extremely bad experience from the owner Master Edmondson. First of all, they never mentioned about the 12 months contract when we signed up for my daughter. They never sent any notification to us ( email, text) about change in the class duration from 45 minutes to 30 minutes with the effect from January 2019. Also, they never pro rated the fees when reduced the class time...Mr Edmondson is never there at the studio.. I haven’t seen him single time working there in past 11 months. Whenever I used to ask about him, his staff always told me that he’s not around.When I spoke to Mr Rob ( the manager at the facility ) about discontinuing the class for my daughter he mentioned about the contract which was for 45 mins class and not for 30 mins class. As per Mr Rob, they need written notice/ email if we want to discontinue class so My husband sent email to Master Edmondson regarding the discontinuation of the class to which he never replied. When my husband called Mr Edmondson, he used extremely foul language, threatened my husband to sue him if we break the contract.. He was very very unprofessional when it comes to resolve the issue. We can’t stand this unprofessional approach.I wouldn’t recommend anybody to go to Alpha krav maga Gilbert.. They are just here to cheat people and make money. Very unprofessional and rude customer service.
