Please dont waste your valuable time with this deceptive, dishonest, lying group of people. Justin Fernandez will tell you all you want to hear, then 180 and tell you the deal you are working just sold. While you are working a deal. Integrity is not a word at this dealership. They have no problem running your credit to sell you a vehicle that they have magically already sold. I cant express the frustration of how this group of people treated me, with such lack of care in the world. Customers are by far just a doormat for them to wipe their feet on.

Fastest Service. My Service advisor Marisa is always Honest and upfront with me. She was the only advisor they had for the day on my last visit but always manages to go above and beyond. Kept me updated through out the repair process.

The service department communication is horrible and no follow-up. The person handling our car left on vacation and never turned our file over to someone else for follow-up. Its impossible to get a hold of your service advisor to get a return call. The text message system although nice doesnt work if you dont get responses back. Overall, communication is the worst Ive seen in a long time.Update: Joe the GM has been communicating and keeping me informed since this review and email I sent.

Failed to fix my AC. Told me they did, but they didnt. So I drove to Sacramento in the summer without AC. That is after spending $1300. I then questioned whether they replaced my compressor without need because it didnt fix the problem. I asked for the removed part to have it tested, to be told they no longer had it, shady! I was told i needed to spend another $450 to fix the problem because the circuit breaker panel was broken. No one could explain how two unrelated items went from working to broken at the same time. I feel like I was lied to. Finally, the parts department person was incredibly rude and condescending. I will never give another dime to this dealer.

I went in for an airbag recall. My side mirrors were working properly before I went in for recall but malfunctioned afterwards. A tire sensor servicing light came on afterwards. I went in again and they wanted me to pay for replacing the entire side mirror assembly and replace all four tire sensors. I got my Onstar report and only one tire sensor was malfunctioning. I asked if they could just work with the wiring on the side mirrors to correct the problem and they said no, they needed replace the whole assembly. I didnt bring up that these problems werent happening until immediately after my airbag replacement, and I know it would be difficult to prove anything, but they arent going to get any more of my money.Update: I did contact the manager back via phone and got only voicemail. I didnt leave a voicemail but sent an email. I finally got a message a couple of weeks later with the lame excuse that there were two related people with his name at his company and I got the wrong one. Im gettiing the work done at another shop.... dont need the further aggravation.

Bought a car there last weekend. Price was below kbb Sale guy was very knowledgeable. If he didn’t know the answer he would find out for you. Was only there to buy the wife her car and they offered me a killer deal on my trade in I not only walked out with my wife’s car but a new truck for me. Alex in finance was great. Worth the 2 and a half hour drive for 2 vehicles. Will buy my next Chevy with them again

I found this dealership looking online for a car. I called and spoke with Nick from sales. He was kind, courteous, helpful, willing to negotiate a long distance deal. He was straight forward with price, what condition vehicle was in. His co-workers and managers were exceptional in handling things when he was off work. Although the service techs were extremely busy, they were able to answer my concerns. I was offered a ride to work so that was big plus! The driver was very professional. The techs offered to change my air filters as well as I did not know were part of the service. When the vehicle was apparently ready the service lady noticed my vehicle was not washed and promptly asked one of the guys to do so. Great experience, Thank you Gilroy Chevrolet!

My wife gave birth to our new baby 2 weeks earlier than planned, and 1 day before the lease on our GM suv ended. I searched all over the internet for dealers within 100 miles for a suitable suburban and talked to sales people at multiple dealerships. Most could care less about my situation and were not willing to work numbers over the phone. Jose Lopez was the opposite, he was very responsive and even helped with getting the financing started before I made my drive over as I couldn’t afford to spend many hours at a dealership doing paperwork. All the staff I interacted with on my arrival were extremely helpful and did all they could to help me leave with my new vehicle as quickly as possible. They have earned a long term customer in me.

Not only after speaking of the need of a loaner car and verifying one was there and they confirmed; once I got there there was no loaner car and had to wait over 35 mins to get a ride home to then have to get into a car to drive down to enterprise in Gilroy to get my loaner. Also your service department charged me for something they shouldnt have and now for 4 days I have left 5 messages to get the cost refunded with no response. I will not be coming back to this service department again. I will go to San Jose where they care about customer service.

I just bought a off-leased 2017 bolt premier from this dealer. The sales person, Ray, is the most honest, courteous, and helpful car sales I ever met. I was in and out with in less than 3 hours. Since the car I bought is not cleaned and detailed, they lend me another car. Ray personally delivered the my car to me 3 days later to SanJose at my work.The car I bought is an extreme deal in bay area. I know because I tracked all 2017 bolt premiers (500miles) on Cargurus for more than 3 month.

Waited in total 3 hours and when finished the vehicle was not detailed or cleaned as stated in contract and when asking questions about future maintenance coupons it turns out Marcelo lied about promotions and actively lied to our face about our purchases and insurance details

Phil our Sales Manager was great! After spending hours at a dealership the day before with the usual back and fourth. I called Phil and I went over what I was looking for and the pricing etc. he called me back a few minutes later and we made a deal over the phone so when we arrived everything was ready to go! I arrived and asked for a shuttle and never got one! I waited and waited and took 4 hours and then they tell i need a air filter and to advise then on proceeding with it because supposedly my truck was on the lift and they can do and I would be out in 15 minutes so I proceed until I see my truck was actually outside and they had to bring it in again and put on the air filter which took another 15 minute wait and by the end u was running out like ok charge me and let me go on my way....

Horrible customer service. Its been over two months that my husband purchased a vehicle and they were to fix some damaged parts and Ive been having to continously call to get the same answer and on the side of that with atittude from the MANAGER. Being that they are the one messing up, I would expect a different attitude. They also told me that we would get a free fill up gas tank, never happened and also detail some scratches but then said that they didnt agree to that. Send an email to the General Manager and never got a response. What ever happened to customer service, its not like one is rude or disrespectful to them.

Phil Barrett did a great job of working with us on our vehicle purchase. He should get 5 stars. Wish I could say the same about the finance team. Their poor communication and lack of respect for my time got them zero stars. 5 hours to process a sales contract. Never saw the final price until the last document I signed. Even then, it was not shared with me. Only by reading the full sales sheet did I see how much the vehicle cost. All that was shown earlier was a monthly payment, the purchase price of the car, and the length of the loan. My credit is labeled as good, so that wasn’t a problem. Ended up missing an appointment with family as a result of the long time to process the purchase. Should have left much earlier.

Outstanding service! Nick Rocchi helped me finance my lease to a purchase. He went above and beyond to get me a great loan in just a couple of days. He kept in touch with me on a regular basis. Due to the pandemic, I was nervous about having to go in to sign the final papers. So, Nick came to my home in Morgan Hill. Left the papers on the porch for me to sign while he waited by his car and he wore a mask. I cant say enough about Nick, hes just a very nice guy, and, he is knowledgeable and helpful. All further contact was via phone or email until we struck a deal and I went to your dealership to meet with another professional part of your team your finance manager Guiliano (excuse the spelling) I soon found out that he was able to save me a nice sum off the quote I received from my bank. We had a very nice encounter. We found out they we both grew up in the same area and our reminiscing took more time than the actual signing of the papers. lol Yet another example of looking out for MY best interest by finding me better terms. I recently lost most of my property and my 1999 Suburban in the Bonny Doon fire in the Santa Cruz Mountains in California. Trying to move into temporary housing I found it difficult without my truck. So with the year end deals, I decided to just get a basic work truck since thats all I really need. I put in my request on the Chevy website and picked Gilroy Chevrolet as on of my three choices. Rick Encarnacao immediately contacted me. He said there were not a lot of those truck available but he would look. He found one and after a few emails agreed to bring it up to Gilroy. I went in two days later, my first chance, and the truck was waiting for me. It was perfect, with the power options and 4x4 that I wanted. Then filling out the paperwork, Guliano was one of the kindest people Ive ever met. He was so concerned about my loss, I felt like I was with family. Gilroy Chevrolet is a great place and the best vehicle experience Ive ever had.

We bought a Chevy Traverse at Gilroy Chevrolet 10 years ago and had a great easy car buying experience and got a great deal. We decided to go back to get yet another Traverse. We stopped by and met with Mike Vigil who showed us what they had. Although we were not able to find what we wanted on the lot, he assured is he could get what we wanted and beat anyones price. He gave us some numbers and we were quite impressed. There was no pressure to make a fast decision and we chose to wait. A few weeks later we went back to see Mike Again. We were able to tell him what we wanted again and he was able to find the vehicle. We were able to make a great deal on the vehicle and are excited to say we have purchased our second Chevy Traverse at Gilroy Chevrolet. We have stopped by other Chevy dealers in the past and have never been treated the great way we get treated here. If you are in the market for a Chevrolet, we recommend Gilroy Chevrolet!

I’ve been here for service on my truck three times and skeptical are first from the reviews. But each visit has been pleasant and the normal wait time. Marisa at the service desk is super nice and kept me up date on my truck. I ordered a part from Ray who continued with the same friendliness. What was really the best of all and completely unexpected was a salesperson on the floor whose name I don’t even know, but had a great head of silver hair. My son, who is a car fanatic and close to 15 yrs old, wanted to see the inside of the Corvette on the floor. His dad asked the salesperson if it was possible and not only did he unlock it, he told my son to sit inside and the start the engine. My son had the biggest smile and said that there was nothing that could top that.

We took our truck in for a coolant leak. We had stopped by a shop prior to taking our truck in to the dealer. The shop showed us where the leak was coming from said it was a known issue and told us to go to the dealer for the OME part to be fixed. We showed them where the problem was at the firewall. The dealer did a diagnostic and said no leaks found. Charged us 165 dollars for pressure testing. We took it to another shop they said the same thing known problem and fixed it for 150 dollars including OME part. I am very disappointed. I dont think I will be going back there. I also talked to the manager 11/6/20, and he requested pictures but have not heard back from him as yet. He wanted to fix the problem at no charge. But we live 45 mins away, and they had our vehicle for two days. I needed it for work. I gave 2 stars due to Manager trying to make the situation better.

Had booked an appointment with a certain issue of engine vibration. After inspection mechanic said that vibration is normal and as designed and tried to charge me for nothing. Next day have spark plugs changed at other place, 20 minutes job. Engine works perfectly now, no signs of vibration at all. Service is Very unprofessional, milking money, not resolving issues even on Chevrolet! cars.Definitely would not recommend.

Brought my truck in for service and one vehicle I asked him to check the mudflap if they could replace the mudflap when I picked up the truck nobody knew anything about it that tells me there’s no communication there, picked up I picked up that truck brought in my other truck they were supposed to do a complete service did not bother checking out until two days later found out it was never serviced how is that possible tires were still on low oil was still reading 44% and I was leaving on vacation with the truck not a happy camper

To say I merely received Excellent service at Gilroy Chevrolet would be the understatement of the decade. Ive owned vehicles for over 25 years – almost exclusively Chevy. And while I always have been pleased, I was totally wowed and delighted by the serviced at Gilroy. Steve Howard in sales was simply Outstanding. He allowed my educator discount and did not give me a hard time, worked with my budget, and was intuitive to my needs in order to make the transaction seamless. He practiced social distancing, allowed me to take an extended test drive, answered every question under the sun, walked me through the features, set up Onstar for me, put on my plates, gassed up the car - you name it. Might have cooked me dinner if I had asked politely haha. Just a true testament to the great team at Chevy and GM, and the reason I keep coming back, from my 1991 Chevy Lumina, to my 2015 Camaro, and now 2020 Tahoe. I was looking for a used car...mine was 2007 mountaineer, but I loved it! I was looking at the morgsn hill ford store. They were not wanting to budge a dime!On the way I asked my husband to go through Gilroy just to check. We cruised through the Chevy lot and husband spotted a car. He went back through and I got out to look at it. It was great! Clean, etc. Fully loaded BUT a 2015! I was looking at 2017-18 with 35k and less. This had 75k!! Rick came over. He and his manager were very helpful and cooperative. When they agreed on a price with me (awesome for me, livable for them!)I took it for a drive and then came back, signed papers, went to lunch while it was washed. And by 3 was.on my way home!!!! With my car.I love it more every day, and Im glad that Rick sold it to me...hes Portuguese and me too.Only 2nd Chevy in our family!!!!!Thanks guys!!!!!

The service dept has always been great! Im super thankful for my last visit- we installed a part, and the folks tested it out, and found that the piece was actually broken. New one ordered and now at my convenience well put it on. Couldnt ask for better!

Went in for a test drive, drove out of there with a new car. All Staff was very friendly! Mike Vigil (sales person) took great care of me and put me in a car with the specs i was looking for! I would recomend hands down. No negatives on my end at all.

I highly recommend this dealership. Especially Miranda in sales. I had been to multiple dealerships looking for something that would fit my needs and circumstances. I had been treated so horribly from the other dealerships that I was not wanting to g . When we got to the dealership, Miranda was very polite, very understanding of our circumstances and very knowledgeable of the vehicles we were interested in. I am now in exactly what I wanted from the beginning and I didnt have to suffer through being pushed into something I didnt want or nee . Everyone here was very helpful and took great care of u and we got a great vehicle!
