Great store if youre looking for groceries/produce, bargain household items, seasonal items and dollar store type or items. Good place to shop on a budget.

Got off at 7am from work and parking was full but 3 or 4 poeple in side store need to find a new place were the neighbors dont park

Pretty good store. You will find anything you need for baking but the service is far from ok. Dont be surprised if the cashiers doesnt say any simple nice word like good morning. I know every person is different so thats why im writing this after 3 times at the store,. All 3 times is the same. World is crazy and we dont need more attitudes like this in our life. Good vibes ✌

This place is great! Low prices and big items. I havent had to go to Walmart and Costco for a while now. Much has changed they have a produce section and more items.Decently a good space to go to.

I love shopping at Smart and Final! Their prices are hard to beat, and they almost always have the items I need in stock.

Line long but, went fast. Had everything I needed! Great value.

Great deals! A little dirty but not bad enough to deter returning. Staff could smile more (not that we could see it though).. several occasions they dont even talk to you besides stating your total at the register

With restaurant quality food, kitchen supplies, condiments and spices, large sized containers and super friendly and helpful staff this place is great. Good prices and a decent but somewhat generic selection make this store a happy medium between Costco and Safeway.

I was on line at Least 20 minutes or more.They had 2 checkers and theyr were 25 people in the line,i counted them,3 people left,they got tired of waiting. When I got home,my ice cream sandwiches were soft and melting. I told the cashier and she said you counted the people,I said yes,i had a lot of time on my hands, thats all she said,no sorry at all. Very bad service

The worst store in gilroy. The lines are always long. Super ghetto!

For the last few months this store somehow can not keep Lactaid brand half gallons in stock. Russ the previous manager said he would fix it. He has since left and it seems the new manager can not keep it in stock as well. I used to enjoy shopping here because it was close to my house. However when the old staff quit the service there just hasnt been the same. We now stop at Safeway on the way home so that we do not have to make two stops when Smart & Final is out of stock of milk. I hope they can get their act together because I hate having to go to Safeway which is out of my way.

Not all the times they have shopping carts available by the door, you have to go and search the parking lot for one, theres one item that I usually buy from this store and theyre usually low stocked. But other than that is clean, fast service and good prices.

If you know Smart and Final, you know what youre getting here. Good for certain common grocery items, especially in commercial sizes, and food service supplies. Lacks the vast selection of products found in a typical super market and they dont really carry any boutique/artisan product. This location is a bit small.

Very busy with employees getting stuff out for Thanksgiving. But was easy in and out. And the young man in produce was great helper.

Still like this store for most of my groceries. With the added benefit of being able to buy bulk / large quantities at great prices.Im having a party or just couple of friends over. Plus there brand is good quality and in most cities so it a familiar store.

Great prices and selections...the residents at the new apartments across the street keep taking up the parking spots. I wish they would enforce a Parking for Customers only, all others will be towed away I have seen several park and just walk across the street. Makes it really hard to shop there!

You can get great prices here. They have large size packages and small ones. The store is clean and you can get out quickly.

We really like our S&F love that theyre bringing in more organics, however what is up with the lines...???? It seems like a store this busy could bring on a few more cashiers or the management can figure out a better break schedule so that more folks are on the floor during busy times, whatever the issue is Fix It please, 2 cashiers is not enough and it is a reason for me to consider going elsewhere.

Smart and quick, just dont go on a weekend, then you will be in line for a long time.

Its a convenient location to my house with reasonable prices and a mostly friendly staff. Some of the new kids are nervous andhavent learned yet the art of good customer service.

I could mark the 5 stars because it is a store where you find everything super easy, super fast, and everything fresh bread, meat, vegetables and fruit in short everything! What sometimes one does not find is a kind smile from a certain cashier, this morning I arrived and said hello and did not answer me, then look at the fact that someone with white skin arrived and of course if I answered later I thought that perhaps I would not listen and when I reached pay I greeted him again and suggested that he smile, he looked at me and did not answer anything. He took the phone, I imagine he answered a call and kept telling me at the same time and well I said thank you and he didnt answer either. So 4 stars nothing.
