Joey was great help and very knowledgeable on multiple products. I wasnt planning on buying a Sena 50s tell he talked me through the pros and cons. The long and short is he did 3 Sena instalation on a busy Saturday and had time to update them and pair them. 10 out of 10 customer service!

I went in to Cycle Gear to purchase a specific oil our Motorcycle. After a few other retailers being out of stock for what we were looking for, we came across this location and it is fully stocked let me tell you. Not only was Ed helpful and knowledgeable, he made sure we got everything we needed for a safe ride. Thank you Ed. It is Definitely gonna be my first Go-To for any future riding gear or parts need.

The manager helped me out, he was great. Gave me the rundown on each helmet brand I was looking at (good and bad) and really helped me out with picking what was best for me.Side note, I always appreciate a clean shop. It wasn’t cluttered, the products were neatly displayed, and it didn’t smell rubbery like other gear shops.

I went in to buy something small... the young man ( I feel bad I can’t remember his name) but he was so wonderful! I asked a question about towing a motorcycle and he took the time to look it up and answered all my questions. We also talked about protection gear when riding. He was so helpful and knowledgeable and I really appreciated the time he spent with me. With service like that, I’m a customer for life!!!!

Had decent quality stuff but the lack of selection was pretty bad. Was trying to get gear for my wife and couldnt find gloves that fit, only 2 helmets in her size and zero boots in her size.Selection of boots and helmets use to be way better 5 years ago.

Great customer service, just bought my first bike and needed a full kit they had a huge selection but the staff didn’t let that overwhelm me being a beginner, helped me pick out everything while helping multiple people. 10/10 would recommend.

My husband and I went into the shop to find a good bluetooth for his helmet, we thought we would have to purchase a whole new helmet, but the sales person showed us one that would work in his helmet AND they installed the device in his helmet. PERFECT!!!! thank you, Cycle Gear.

Kind of dissapointed at first employee seems like he was not helpful or maybe just lazy from the covid lmfao, the wasnt helpful, as for the youngster that had ask me if i needed help,hes more improvising on the tools and parts i needed, he took the time to make sure i had proper tools and parts that i needed i like improvising if the part is not there, theres other ways to fabricate parts if its just a hose that im asking for, i could have easily gone to auto zone and purchased a hose and made it work,the first employee was just a no we dont have any as for the youngster he improvised i like that when you want to get things done,all in all i came out with the things i need and was happy when i left the store,great prices and deals.thank for the tips youngster, saying no names on my part, doesnt mean that the first person that helped me is a bad person every body has a bad day and a lazy day at work.and just maybe he just wants me to use the right part.thank you for the great service.,

Its a smaller Cycle Gear than some of the other locations, and as such has less staff. But, once one was available to help me, I was taken care of quickly and they made sure to get my order correct.

These guys are excellent! They have a good selection of gear, good sale prices, and a knowledgeable staff eager to help. Their tire fitting crew is great too. I had both tires changed out yesterday and they had me in and out in about 30 minutes. I highly recommend this place.

Went in to purchase a windshield and the employee was not certain how to look up what windshield I needed, then told me to move aside because he has customers he needed to helpOk no problem I just purchased a few items including a helmet and I planned on purchasing more items here but if that’s your way of dealing with a customer who needs help locating a windshield is to tell him move aside you have other customers to help as if I’m not a customer then find I won’t beI’ll also mention how I was treated to every ear in Gilroy.

Good selection of helmets and riding gear with friendly and accommodating staff. I have a big head and needed a special order. Would give them a 5 but minimal selection of earth size buckets and jumbo gloves.

Its a great location right off the highway. Would definitely recommend going here. The staff are knowledgeable about new riders and good gear for new riders. The service was fast there were no lines.

Cycle Gear is a conveniently located, vastly stocked with most everything motorcycle that you need and the prices are reasonable.

This is a good store for your riding equipment needs and for tire replacements as well.I have been shopping this store before acquiring my motorcycle and getting my M1. Im writing to commend Monika, who works at the Gilroy location. My boyfriend and I are completely new to motorcycles and the gear. We drove down from Monterey looking for gloves and a helmet and walked out with a jacket and boots as well. Without any knowledge of what we wanted, Monika helped us for an hour and a half, checking on us while simultaneously helping others who walked in. With one comment she changed our outlook and price range: we were looking at helmets around $99 and immediately shifted to a $200-$250 price range after she asked what is your head worth?. Monikas product knowledge was extensive and she was able to give us answers and information on gloves, helmets, and jackets. Her information was so complete I had very few questions because shed answered them all (and I am majoring in molecular biology, I always have questions!). Monikas level of customer service was above and beyond. We we a little worried about feeling intimidated at first, but never felt that once we walked in. She was inviting, asked us what we were looking for, and when she saw us a little lost, was able to have us think about, or keep in mind, or end goal. We found ourselves wanting to make sure she approved of our purchases. All-in-all, we lived out experience and will be back in about three months to get my gear. :)

My bike is my car (only vehicle for a long time now) so I shop here often enough to be on a first-name basis with several of the employees. The Cycle Gear in San Jose may have superior selection, but the staff in Gilroy always takes great care of me and its closer to Morgan Hill, so this is where I go.

I needed to replace my bike chain but my previous bike was a belt drive so I wasnt sure on how to replace a chain. the salesman Daniel really broke it down for me and set me up with everything I would need for the job. He knew which chain I needed and was very informative. This place has everything and a wide variety of products. Awesome shop.

Economy and Excellence is what I experienced at Cycle Gear in Gilroy. These guys always great you with a smile and have always been very helpful to me every time I have been there. The prices are way lower than anyone else in the area. They are and will continue to be my first stop when I need something for my bike. I highly recommend checking them out.

Used to be the only place I would go. They do have a lady on their working and getting things done but they seem to have a manager that only wants to ride his motorcycle handstand behind the building and smoke I guess the girl working 5 and him one whats that noise

Have had good customer service here so I decided to buy a rear tire here over the dealership. Had my wife drive (first time) the old rear tire and rim from Gonzales to Gilroy, paid them to install, balance, and discard the old one. She gets home and I notice the tire is backwards on the rim. Drive it back to Gilroy (second time) to get it installed correctly. One day later the balancing weights fall off. Removed rim and tire and drive it back to Gilroy (third time) to get it installed and balanced again. Decent enough customer service but not enough to be worth the time and money making laps from Gonzales to Gilroy because of careless mistakes and without any recompense, unless half smiles and quick apologies count.
