Stood an hour and 20 minutes in electronics waiting for someone with a key to retrieve a tablet after asking 3 times. This is twice and they advised me that they no longer sell electronics after 9 pm. Right... makes sense they close at 11 so no messy complicated selling of electronics at such a late hour. A product with a price clearly visible, Im sorry they dont do that either.

Gots almost everything got what I needed and then some. Ive been appreciating the clothes from there more

Used the pickup option on the app. Super easy to find parking. The folks who bring out your groceries are thoughtful about how they place your groceries. Julian was awesome and made sure my eggs and watermelon came up front with me for minimum damage during the drive home. Much appreciated! Thanks!

Just had the worst experience I have ever had at an establishment . I am ordering online groceries. Half of my order was unavailable and no substitutes were provided . I had to make another order with substitute items myself . The pick up time was later than my first order so I called to ask them to combine them . They said they couldnt and to just come later and pick up both orders when the second was ready. I pick up both orders at once and head home my car instantly starts smelling . I get home to cut meat and cook. I find out that the horrible smell is both of the Atlantic salmons I order being spoiled, had a bad and strong fishy odor and was milky on the skin. Also my shrimp that I ordered had a freshness date on it that said cook or freeze by August 23 21. I received these shrimp unfrozen on August the 25th.They didnt even bother to fake it and take the freshness tag off . Not to mention that none of my frozen items were actually frozen as if my order had been sitting out all day. My kitchen still smells horrible and I threw the stuff out half an hour ago. This is just lazy wreckless and dangerous. Will never go back there. Get new ppl.

Monday October 3d. Freezer sections virtually empty. Same with soft drink aisle. I go to this store once a month only and it seems to b a recurring problem that is getting worse. Not just in aisles mentioned, but throughout store. Worst part is at 1:30pm there wasnt any employees stocking shelves. 4 years ago it was refreshing to shop at the Gladstone Walmart, but now it is anything but that.

Its walmart what do you expect... store is relatively clean, half of what I came for was out of stock per the normal but the prices are low so my expectations arent exactly high.

We paid the $95 for a year of deliveries. We NEVER get what we order with no attempts to substitute reasonably. This last time it took 3wks to get the refund from those items. When I have chose to just pick up instead, they have always been rude! They appear inconvenienced by doing their job. If I was a rude person, I would understand. If this only happened occasionally, I would understand. However, I am overly understanding and nice and this happens Everytime we do business with them...

Went to find a Birthday gift for my Grandson and a few more odds and ends and Sometimes theyre shelves are quite low on the items I need. Especially in Grocery. Out front today they had a Monster Truck there for all to see...That was pretty cool. Kids would enjoy.

This location had a great selection of everything I needed especially clothes and toiletries. I had an emergency stay in KC and this was the only store open. Pretty impressive.Zippy

I like this location better than the Antioch neighborhood Walmart, but its simply the lesser of two evils.The customer service at all the metro Walmarts is non existent. Everyone is too busy stocking to help customers. Dont interrupt the employees stocking or theyll get mad at you lol.Matter fact, dont ask anyone for help because theyre too busy with their personal conversations.Ive been looking at Chromebooks at this location for weeks and no one ever offered help. Finally, I decided which model I wanted and I had to interrupt a group of chatting employees to get them to get the computer I wanted.I stood at the counter waiting, but no one ever brought the computer to me. So, Ill try to find somewhere that actually wants to help me. Sorry I bothered you guys by trying to buy something at your store. I wont do it again!

Tire center closes at 4. Locked up the keys with work ticket. Told to get manger to get them and then pay. 3 people later looking for it and 45 min later. No communication!!! None of this told to my friend till they called her to say her car was ready.

This store never answers there phones. This is the walmart supercenter on the corner of 72nd street and antioch. If I could I would give it zero stars yesterday evening 10/19/21 (Tuesday) I called over 8 times and not one person working there answered. This is not the first time this has happened. I called electronics, pickup, etc to no avail. I proceed to call the liberty walmart who answered on the first and only call I made to them. They answered my question and I proceeded to ask where I would put in a complaint for gladstone walmart and they kindly gave the number to me. I called corporate and told them what happened. Employees at gladstone Wal Mart need to get there act together. Not one of them couldve answered the phone? It wasnt a weekend. Theres no excuse for this.

Couldnt find staff to help with my questions. There is a big sign on the ceiling that says Plus Size, guess what not one! I looked at all the racks, but nothing plus size unless you wanted a 3 X size. Walmart used to carry Just My Size, now they dont. I guess I will be going to Target or Pennys.

Not the cleanest store or the nicest employees. The restrooms were not very clean and neither was the store. There were also several items that had no price tag on the shelf/display, which was frustrating. Id pick a different location if possible!

Let me say first that I was polite. I looked online for an item, and this store showed that there was one left. I went to the store, to the dept. in which it was indicated that it would be. I asked a female employee working in that location as to where this item would be located. She harshly stated that, we dont have that item. I told her that I had just looked online, and it said that there was one here, to which she curtly replied, just because it says that its here online, doesnt mean that its here. I then asked her where the item would be located if it was here, to which she replied in an annoyed manner, the last aisle over. I said, ok, Ill go look for myself, (thinking that she couldnt possibly know every single item in the whole store as to whether it was still there or not), to which she snottily replied, well you just do that!!Come on Walmart employment staff. You need to train your employees on better customer relations!!

Nice and cold as far as the temperature for the summertime. It makes you speed up your time spent shopping! Lol! Wish they had actual human beings for employment behind the cash registers instead of the self-serve check out. Im just a big fan of putting The working Man to work more than I am a computer. But as far as the store like my Mother says I think Sam Walton would be turning over in his grave. The people that work there seem to be genuinely nice. They need to get back to the senior greeters also that was a nice personal touch that they kind of have taken away from the store both grocery and retail. Oh also I hope its not true that they put these Walmart grocery stores or markets in towns where they are there long enough to put some little small grocery store out of business then they end up moving and leaving the town without a grocery store.

I just love walking in Walmart and looking down the line of 30 checkouts and one is open. Then spend an hour shopping only to find the checkout is closed. I have to wonder to my self as I walk out empty handed. The person setting in a chair saying have a good day could have checked me out.

Back to school Shopping. There was a wait in electronics, should have been more employees working in electronics. The rest of the store was not so busy. I was able to find everything we needed.

Went here yesterday afternoon the self checkouts were all backed up so we went into a checkout with a actual checker.She was a very rude checker said wait I need to wipe the heck stand down which was dirty but she said it in such a manner we wont be back at this location. Makes you want to spend more money and just go to Hyvee.

The customer service is terrible. We waited 20 minutes after someone paged for an associate to help us. Another worker came down the aisle, looked dead at us and before I could ask her if she could help us, she just hurriedly walked away while staring at the floor so we left and shopped somewhere else. The day before I tried ordering an item that they said they had online and 2 hours after I ordered it for pickup, I got an email saying they dont have it so I called the store to ask electronics if they had another style that their store site said they had and the person I talked to said Oh yeah, we have 3. I am looking at them right now So I thanked him for his time and tried to order it, only for the system to say its all of the sudden out of stock!. So I tried calling the store again to talk to someone in customer service and all it did was repeatedly ring and then hang up! I tried for 27 minutes with no answer from customer service. I will never shop from that location ever again

Hardly had grocery by the end of the days. Price higher than others wal- mart, things mark down late than others store. Gardening area price always wrong, got a lot of dead plants, never have pricing. A waist.

Took a VACUUM back because it was smaller then what I needed (even had the receipt,box,owners manual, all the different accesories that came with it and the plastic that goes over it,but they wouldnt take it back or replace because i used it once and I just purchased it 10 days ago.. It seems like theyre making it harder and harder to return things.Plus 3 people came over to Customer Service and the security guard like something BAD was going to happened..( people should NEVER ASSUME )..Like Walmart isnt making money, especially marking things up because of the Pandemic!!

Never have food shelves are empty. Lines are long at register hard to find someone to check you out. Not very clean for a food store.

Went specifically for Tires. My tire started acting funny & I knew it was about to pop or blow!! After waiting for almost 2 TWO HOURS I was informed that they would not be able to do my tires!! They knew this for over an hour & stated they were too busy to let me know right away!! Had they let me know immediately I might have been able to get to another Tire place to get tires. It was almost 5:30 on a Saturday!!! Instead of employees calling to help me CUSTOMERS were making calls to help. I had a tire that was extremely bad and had my niece and was afraid 2 drive home bcuz of my tire and there was ZERO CONCERN FOR MY SAFETY! They were ok with me leaving with an unsafe tire and extremely frustrated!!! Most unprofessional and unconcerned Staff EVER!! Will NEVER get ANY of my MONEY AGAIN!!

I only shop here when I have to and to get my prescriptions. The associates and few and far between. Most the customers are very rude. Most the check outs are never open and there is always long lines, even worse at the self checkouts.

Why are the shelves so bare? They were out of many items on my list or had to settle for a different brand. Didnt even have green peppers! Mens boxers, socks dept. ALWAYS has bare shelves. If ya cant rely on walmart for undies why even go to Walmart 😄?

Always crowded, but I always find what Im looking for, that my 4 years old sons happy place.

They have buttons for certain isles for security purposes which is honestly fine, but Ive been standing at an isle waiting for help for 15 minutes now and 4 different employees have walked passed me. One even told me its been paged but they just dont know whos supposed to respond and help me. I hate it here but Im going to keep shopping here cause its the closest walmart to me. Thats the only reason I give it 3 stars. I work retail and even I feel this is ridiculous.

Just left Gladstone Walmart and there was an employee in there that puffed his chest up against my son my 28 year old son and all because he did a jolly kick and he came unglued as to my son had any reason for doing that like he was going to fight him Walmart needs his scanner employees a little closer it makes for a better shopping for other people

Listen up Walmart. U have 2 gentlemen that do carts...one is J.R. the other slim gentleman I dont know his name but they do a fantastic job and deserve some recognition!!!!!!!!! They r the only reason I shop at yr store. I got a hotdog at 1035 and an egg roll made at 830am. The lady in the deli needs more help. She was kind and polite to me.

There was one lane with a checker open, and 12 people with full carts waiting in line. I typically use self check-out, but had a large ticket item. I went thru anyway and the overseer was rude and acted put put for having to come over and put in the serial number of the item.

Just hate they dont have cashiers and i have to ring myself and i dont get the employee discount

Great convenient location for those who live by but really needs to be expanded an updated to a full blown supercenter. Also the parking lot design is terrible and is not very easy to navigate on a busy weekend. Now inside the store you can tell the employees do the best they can with what they have. It is stocked well and they stay on top of thier markdowns. This store could easily be one of the better Walmarts I. The KC area and do much more in sales if it was bigger and updated.

A lot better than my previous visit. For The most part the people are a lot politer. Wish they had more selection in some areas. But much better. GOD BLESS and keep up the good work.

I went to the automotive department, to get my tire fixed. I was disappointed that the automotive shop was closed due to lack of employees.

Not terrible, convenient, not really cheap anymore you can easily buy four items and spend over a hundred dollars. Customer service is ok depending on the day.

The stores placement of departments and product is a lot different than most that Ive been to. Theres no flow to it! The shelves are poorly stocked and messy. I managed to get most of what I came in for but if being in the store longer is some kinda business strategy then this one didnt work to the businesses advantage~I couldnt wait to get outta there!

When you request to speak to a Manager, those employees go get their friend employees and act like there are the stores managers which us really bad and after 5 PM on the pickup side it looks like there is absolutely no manager who can really oversee the job the employees do there. Please place Managers who truly want to work and honored their positions in each department.
